Sorry to hear about this. I had a very similar experience, I can only say the demonic was completely at work. In the end I felt it lead me to a deeper faith and in some ways it was a purification. But you need to be careful, I was in a bad state mainly from the many nights waking in fear of the situation and being unable to sleep with the worry. Prayer and confession helped me get out of the situation. I did not leave my job but in time the three bullies were separated and some good people joined our team. I will keep you in my prayers. "batten down the hatches and be prepared to suffer" is just what i had in mind! you are right on about this. i too believe God needs me to stand and hold ground in peace and charity; until He comes to rescue me. i have to stay strong and pray diligently every day and i do. i must say that i have spent most of my time off work in praying, reading good stories of the saints, doing chaplets and novenas and come up for air just to sleep. theres not a moment i dont wish and long for the day to end to get home to my personal space and pray. thank you for this my dear, hugs and prayers to you and yours.

My heart goes out to you. I too am suffering the same, of late, it has worsened beyond anything I have ever experienced. But through this suffering, I have begun to cling to the Cross as never before, because only through this, I am able to hear Heaven. god bless you so much for those lovely and comforting words, today especially my heart is heavy. i confronted one of my so called "friend"s if he had been involved in this. he promised he was not but he will not look into my eyes now. my heart tells me that he was since his response was as if he knew nothing about it and i know for a fact that he does. this tells me hes a liar especially since hes a supervisor and they are made aware these types of things. plus especially him because was involved in it 4 years ago when i began. i will pray for you my dearest friend in christ, that you too will have the strength to cling to our lord. hugs and prayers to you my dear.
yes, its great victory knowing that good is still happening for us all. to me if one rejoices we all do and if one is heavy burdened we all must help carry it
