Charlie Johnson false prophet?

My understanding, ETA, was that Charlie's reference to Obama not finishing his full term meant his full eight years in office.

In reading at his site, I must say Charlie does advise great caution in intepreting prophecy. I have seen people who have commented at CJs site with a traditional interpretation of a prophecy such as Garabandal. He has clearly stated he bows to God's Ways of bringing the prophecies to fulfillment.

Charlie lives radical poverty. I do not see a problem with those who support him being a loyal to him. Aren't we all loyal, to whatever degree, to the people and things in which we believe? I am a loyal follower of Charlie and ready to detach if the Church declares him inauthentic. Sure there are some dioceses in which he is not allowed to speak. There are many more in which he is welcomed. Any person, clerical or lay, can call the Archdiocese of Denver and receive a response concerning the official Archdiocesan stance about Charlie. There is a definite "wait and see" attitude towards him. Gamiliel definitely comes to mind:

    The Apostles Are Persecuted
17 Then the high priest took action; he and all who were with him (that is, the sect of the Sadducees), being filled with jealousy, 18 arrested the apostles and put them in the public prison. 19 But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors, brought them out, and said, 20 “Go, stand in the temple and tell the people the whole message about this life.” 21 When they heard this, they entered the temple at daybreak and went on with their teaching.

When the high priest and those with him arrived, they called together the council and the whole body of the elders of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought. 22 But when the temple police went there, they did not find them in the prison; so they returned and reported, 23 “We found the prison securely locked and the guards standing at the doors, but when we opened them, we found no one inside.” 24 Now when the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these words, they were perplexed about them, wondering what might be going on. 25 Then someone arrived and announced, “Look, the men whom you put in prison are standing in the temple and teaching the people!” 26 Then the captain went with the temple police and brought them, but without violence, for they were afraid of being stoned by the people.

27 When they had brought them, they had them stand before the council. The high priest questioned them, 28 saying, “We gave you strict orders not to teach in this name, yet here you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and you are determined to bring this man’s blood on us.” 29 But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than any human authority. 30 The God of our ancestors raised up Jesus, whom you had killed by hanging him on a tree. 31 God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior that he might give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. 32 And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him.”

33 When they heard this, they were enraged and wanted to kill them.34 But a Pharisee in the council named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, respected by all the people, stood up and ordered the men to be put outside for a short time. 35 Then he said to them, “Fellow Israelites, consider carefully what you propose to do to these men. 36 For some time ago Theudas rose up, claiming to be somebody, and a number of men, about four hundred, joined him; but he was killed, and all who followed him were dispersed and disappeared. 37 After him Judas the Galilean rose up at the time of the census and got people to follow him; he also perished, and all who followed him were scattered. 38 So in the present case, I tell you, keep away from these men and let them alone; because if this plan or this undertaking is of human origin, it will fail; 39 but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them—in that case you may even be found fighting against God!”

They were convinced by him, 40 and when they had called in the apostles, they had them flogged. Then they ordered them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. 41 As they left the council, they rejoiced that they were considered worthy to suffer dishonor for the sake of the name. 42 And every day in the temple and at home they did not cease to teach and proclaim Jesus as the Messiah.

But I suspect this has all been fake news. A genuine case of coprophilia.

  3. One of the things that confer credibility is context, Malachi. When I gained a broader grasp of the content of Charlie's commentary I found more and more solid ground for belief. Just as a painting comes into better focus and perspective when viewed from the right place. Just as one can't simply learn a few tricks to gain the expertise of an experienced professional neither is it possible to gain worth-while appreciation of Charlie's words without spending time on them. I work long hard hours and still find time. Seek and ye shall find. But only you can seek - if you want to find your own answers. Then one's conclusions are more worthy of consideration and do not rely on second or third hand opinion. I am sure you can find a list if you want.

I see wee one has provided a list.

OH Mac - these clips are obscene.

Many authentic Catholic prophecies have been clear, concise, and verifiable. Rwanda comes to mind, with its vision of "rivers running with blood" and bodies strewn across the landscape. That was a true vision; it occurred before the events described, and came at a time when such a thing seemed impossible. So, too, with Our Lady of Fatima's promise to send a sign on the date of her last visit to the three children. In the past few weeks a viral video has been making the rounds, purporting to reveal the details of a 2011 prophecy given to a firefighter that Trump would become president. If there is evidence of this dating back five years, it would lend credibility to the firefighter's claim.

(Charlie's angel failed to reveal Trump's victory eight-plus years ago, a curious omission given the importance of the 2016 election/ transition in Charlie's purported prophetic schema.)

Charlie claims highly-placed people come to his talks because they have been amazed by his startlingly accurate predictions. Along with Malachi, I would very much like to get a list of his predictions which were:

    • made ahead of time,
    • seemed difficult to believe at the time,
    • included details,
    • can be seen to have been "startlingly accurate."

Those who read Charlie know he reads political opinion journals. For many years he was a frequent and caustic poster to the comments sections of National Review, Weekly Standard and other journals. Because of this, I would dismiss generalized statements of how the political and cultural situation would likely evolve as proof of any Heavenly knowledge.

So, anyone: A LIST OF CHARLIE'S GREATEST HITS?

Surely each person has both right and responsibility to discern. It takes some time but is well worth it. A fine starting place would be a visit to his website. In addition to his writing, I recommend the FAQ section which can be accessed via the black nav bar at the top of the page. Here's a link: https://charliej373.wordpress.com/pdf-book-files/ Another helpful aid in discernment are the Visit Videos. A recent and excellent one was produced by the well known Catholic Apostolate FOCUS TV:

As well, a phone call to the Archdiocese of Denver can be readily made to discuss Charlie with an official of the Archdiocese: (303) 722-4687.

  11. My question, if you go back to consider other than what has been vaguely offered as definite prophecies given, but then, not clearly given, as Charlie himself admits....but going beyond what he was allegedly given alone, he proffers almost a rebuke to those whom we must presume then through his wisdom to be considered the naive....that is those who have countered some of his own ideas with the strong and not so vague messages given throughout history like, as I offered, Garabandal seers and even the great St. Faustina. Those "naive" are told by Charlie to doubt such as those because such "mystics" just didn't get it right....IOW nothing that great to look forward to (more like just pulling ourselves up by our own bootstraps so to speak after all of the purification of the entire world for heavens sake....rather than any totally different New Era, better than the original garden since Satan won't be roaming about, totally different "light", with preternatural gifts, etc.) while those like Mark Mallett explain with great humility the basis within the early Church Fathers, Popes, approved mystics, the experts in theology of eschatology like Fr. Iannuzzi, for just that. Must then have to disagree with Joe C. that there is "little vague about .... A Rescue by the Immaculate Conception.....since that has ALWAYS been in the future picture, and most were already looking for that accomplishment sometime around that "curious" 100 year anniversary of Fatima with "hints" of what looked like an all destroying sun only to be controlled by the Mother with the Father's permission....plus, on top of that, more reason for such expectation of "something" to occur since it is also the end of the promised 100 years given to Satan to suck off the faithful to his side via his mechanism of atheistic Marxist Communism. So, yes, for probably decades people have been hoping for the completion of the promises of Fatima and elsewhere when the Church finally cooperates with what was requested of her. Soooo....since we were told it will happen but it will be "late", you can't get much later than the end or "latest" point of the time period given....many people would think the same thing and could offer the same possibility that "something" good should happen through the auspices of the Mother and she does have that blessed title, Immaculate Conception. But I wouldn't take advantage of that already accepted belief to be given an opening and using that opening in order to also try to top greater specifics given by saints and even cause doubt in that which IS more likely to occur....something "huge-r" than what Charlie offers. Better to read some of Fr. Iannuzzi's books on the topic of the REAL coming era and don't lose faith in that type of promise to come.....as the Father has had in mind from the beginning: living totally in the Divine Will, something totally new for everyone....as St. Faustina was called at times, as a "living Host"!

  14. The order for "discernment of spirits" no longer permitted in the discussion....that is....only when it comes to Charlie. Not a good sign....esp. if only for basic honesty transparency (now an accepted political term which Charlie should be very familiar with). Charlie says, in a most erudite manner, oh ye who doubt.....just get with my picture....and like it! Otherwise you are "vain". Ha! Consider the source.

ETA, I've read everything on Charlie's site and have never seen him convey this: "... are told by Charlie to doubt such as those because such "mystics" just didn't get it right." He does offer caution about interpretation of prophecy. He actually promotes the praying of the Divine Mercy Chaplet and prays it himself daily.

While he makes the case that we will be living in an ordinary world after the purification, he also has clearly stated his work for Heaven is focused on this period, the transition through the purification, which he calls the Storm, and this is the time period for which his heavenly guidance has been given. To me, it's a big deal, a great grace to have his guidance in this time. In the last twenty months I've seen many, in a panic, who come to visit his site and find peace and strength to cope in the chaos and confusion in which we live.

I'm currently studying the Divine Will online with one of the original five priests who was allowed to continue teaching it, even during the time the Vatican had declared the moratorium. I've communicated with Fr. Iannuzzi and have read his excellent books. Everything from Heaven that is authentic will integrate harmoniously. I see no conflict with what Charlie is doing and with what is to come.

  17. Not to doubt your recollection but what I said is there. We differ. Nothing wrong with that. We're human and offering what we have from whatever perspectives we permit ourselves to recognize. I personally doubt, from reading all that differs with what Charlie offers, and those readings are from throughout Church history, that we will be living in any kind of what we now would consider to be an "ordinary" world. So, we have a choice about what we see as such a future within God's own vision, revealed to His truly chosen. What is "ordinary" to us, that is, what we know, are familiar with, is always more comforting to many than the unknown. But, through what God has promised us through Jesus, the Word, what should be expected and awaited is far more beautiful than what is "ordinary" to us now/what is promised to end with the end of this era. Thank God for that end and a NEW beginning of a whole NEW ERA.

I have already discerned Charlie from his writings regarding Fatima ,Medjugorje,Garabandal, and Pope Francis.
Getting this election thing right changes nothing for me.
It is a very sad situation for him.
I will also say a prayer for him.
