Elisa I agree with Garabandal and DeGaulle

Because St Paul says the following........

    Galatians 1:6-12

6 I am astonished that you are so promptly turning away from the one who called you in the grace of Christ and are going over to a different gospel-

7 not that it is another gospel; except that there are trouble-makers among you who are seeking to pervert the gospel of Christ.

8 But even if we ourselves or an angel from Heaven preaches to you a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let God's curse be on him.

9 I repeat again what we declared before: anyone who preaches to you a gospel other than the one you were first given is to be under God's curse.

10 Whom am I trying to convince now, human beings or God? Am I trying to please human beings? If I were still doing that I should not be a servant of Christ.

11 Now I want to make it quite clear to you, brothers, about the gospel that was preached by me, that it was no human message.

12 It was not from any human being that I received it, and I was not taught it, but it came to me through a revelation of Jesus Christ.

It is becoming quite clear - God wants His Church to be Purified.

There is clearly a CANCER of impurity and filth in the Body of Christ for those who have eyes to see.

Either we laity with our priests and bishops insist that the filth be cleared out from within.

Otherwise, the civil authorities will do the job!

RICHMOND, Virginia, October 25, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) -- Virginia’s attorney general announced Wednesday that he is investigating clergy sexual abuse in the Catholic Church in the state, the latest in a lengthening list of investigations around the U.S.

Its sad that the civil authorities are the ones investigating this filth as the secular government has no regard for the Catholic Church. And this will be paraded on the msm as they also have no regard for the Church. With a large complicit clergy, what else can we expect? God uses all means to His purpose.

The silence from the top is deafening and I think they have miscalculated this presidency. Trump is like a dog with a bone . Wrong administration for this to be coming out . The "when accused I will stay silent like Jesus" is not going to work and we will see state after state and individual cities also run investigations. There is still talk of a RICO investigation from the Feds.

I unfortunately don't think this is the end of the filth that will surface on the CC in America and the CC as a whole. I think they are mixed up in all kinds of disgusting crimes and I think that they are involved heavily. And I think the "top" brass, as it were, know all about it. The Pope isn't silent because he is rooting it out, the pope is silent because he wants it all to go away. That is not a fact but is an honest opinion based on behavior I am seeing from the Vatican.

May God have mercy on our Church and may God have mercy on each of us.

  6. No, she has not been condemned. First of all she is Greek Orthodox and Pope Benedict, when dialoguing with her ordered her answers to the questions asked of her for explanation and his/Church's response to her after these clarifications, be included in the TLIG books as well as having these clarifications sent to the bishops in order that they may make their individual decisions about whether or not to permit her gatherings in Church properties, or even their participation in them. He also has made it known that, beyond that ongoing dialogue the Roman Church has no jurisdiction over her. Her gatherings are still under each individual bishop to decide about them. Many have participated themselves and have permitted her to speak within Church properties, etc.

She is positive on Francis since she met with him in Argentina while he was a Cardinal and they discussed her mission of unification of the Churches and he promised to work for this purpose with the Orthodox. Now if he did not truly mean this in the sense she has trusted him in then that's another thing he would have to answer for....being disingenuous, to be charitable! And of course we are still receiving the various messages from our Mother to "pray for the Vicar of Christ" while She also tells us to become more spiritual within in order to discern any wrongful teachings coming from the diabolical infiltration even at the top of the hierarchy....but, then, that infiltration has been prophesied and existing within now for decades. It has infected many decisions coming out of that hierarchy now for decades, including what has not been done as ordered at Fatima that would have eliminated so much suffering for these times. It's only being exposed fully now and the Church meanwhile is being purified....and that is why our responsibility to pray for all has not suddenly changed! That would incite a kind of voluntary creation of another kind of "new" church of the followers' own making, even if believed that they were acting in good faith, (as they accuse others of doing but for a NWO "church") rather than remaining faithful to prayer, scripture, and tradition and trusting in God's work of purification which, after all, will and should involve each member and his/her own soul as well. We are all defective and in need of the Holy Spirit's cleansing.

  7. Archbishop Chaput: Synod was a missed opportunity to apologise for sex abuse

The Synod also failed to speak enough about marriage preparation, Chaput said

The more than 250 Catholic bishops from around the world meeting at the Vatican in October missed an opportunity to confront the global sex abuse crisis, said Archbishop Charles Chaput of Philadelphia.

“I wish that we had spent more time not only talking about (the crisis) but apologising to people for it,” said Archbishop Chaput, one of the delegates elected by the US bishops to participate in the Synod of Bishops on young people, the faith and vocational discernment.

The “resistance (of) some bishops” meant the abuse crisis was largely absent from the discussions, he told Catholic News Service. “Some say that (sex abuse) really is an issue of the Western world.”

But “it seems to me that it’s an issue of human nature, and it’s very important for the Church to talk about it,” said the archbishop, who in August had written to Pope Francis asking him to postpone the synod in the wake of the scandal. Archbishop Chaput was a member of the synod’s ordinary council, which prepared the October assembly.

Judging from the discussion and the first draft of the meeting’s final document – a draft he said could be amended significantly – Archbishop Chaput said there also were other topics on which the synod could have been stronger.

“There was very little discussion of human sexuality at all. But anybody who sits in the confessional knows that that’s an issue,” he said, especially “for young people who are trying to learn how to be human and how to be Christian in a world that really promotes a wrong understanding of human sexuality.”

“It’s a natural desire for men and women to be married – it’s not good for man to be alone, we have the Lord God’s word on that – so that’s a common issue for young adults everywhere,” but the issue of marriage preparation got little attention at the synod, he said.

“That probably should have been 98 per cent of what we did because that’s 98 per cent of what the issues are for young people, but we didn’t spend much time on it at all.”

In his own address to the synod, Archbishop Chaput asked that people not be identified by sexual orientation in the synod document, for instance by referring to “LGBTQ Catholics,” because the Church does not put people into categories like that.

The archbishop said it is a “sadness” for him when “people who have same-sex attraction talk about themselves” only or primarily by referring to their sexual orientation.

“I think that you’re God’s beloved more than you’re that. So, I’m not going to call you that. I don’t think that’s what God called you,” he said.

Archbishop Chaput said he was struck by the number of synod participants sharing their personal experiences and the experiences of their people suffering in areas of Africa and the Middle East where war and poverty undermine the possibility of a future for young people, he said.

“In areas where there is violence and war,” he said, “young people don’t even have a future. The question about ‘who do I marry?’ isn’t even in their vocabulary at this time because they’re worried about being alive or having a job.”

“It made me realise how blessed we are in the United States,” he said.

  8. Many times in current messages we have been asked to "pray for Rome", the city itself. Now strikes do happen often at the drop of a hat there but this sounds more serious....and they have that real problem of being overwhelmed by migrants.....things then seem to be getting more and more out of control. Will such lack of order and control be the opening for any eventual attack on the Vatican territory itself by "invaders"?

Romans protest at eternal decline of Italian capital

    ROME (Reuters) -

Several thousand people protested in front of Rome City Hall on Saturday to denounce the ragged state of the Italian capital, where roads are potholed, rubbish often goes uncollected and wild boar roam the streets.

Critics say the city has been in decline for years and accuse Mayor Virginia Raggi, who took office in 2016, of failing to fulfill campaign promises to clean up the mess.

“We’re here because Rome deserves better, because Rome is in a state of neglect the like of which has never been seen before,” said Marita Monaco, 57, who took part in the protest in a Renaissance square designed by Michelangelo.

“It is a city in disarray, where there are no more rules or social cohesion,” she added.

Raggi is a member of the anti-establishment 5-Star Movement and was swept to power following a wave of public disgust over corruption scandals that had battered previous administrations run by both traditional left- and right-wing parties.

The first female mayor in the history of the city, Raggi says she needs more time to overcome Rome’s myriad problems, but argues that she is already making good progress.

Her critics say things are getting worse, not better.

A strike by rubbish collectors has left many trash cans overflowing, potholes riddle the roads, while the local transport system is in permanent crisis.

More than 20 buses have caught fire on the streets of the city so far this year, largely the result of poor maintenance, while a broken escalator injured more than 20 Russian soccer fans at a city metro station last Tuesday.

The death this week of a 16-year girl, whose body was found in an abandoned building used by drug dealers, underscored fears about law and order in the city. Police say they believe the girl was gang-raped and have arrested four migrants.

Under the hashtag #romadicebasta (“Rome says enough”) residents’ associations and civil society groups banded together to organize Saturday’s protest, which Reuters reporters estimated drew between 5,000-8,000 people.

“Rome has become an open sewer, a scandal, full of rats, foxes, wild boar and rubbish,” said Rome resident Salvatore Golino. “We are drowning in trash and we can’t take it anymore.”

A recent video that went viral online showed a family of boar foraging through sacks of rubbish on a city street. Another video earlier this year showed a large boar running up a major city road under the gaze of astonished drivers.

Raggi is standing trial for alleged abuse of office over a contested appointment within her administration. She has denied the accusation, but has said she will resign if found guilty.

A verdict is due on Nov. 10 and Raggi’s administration would fall if she left office, potentially opening the way for fresh elections.

This interview of Cardinal Burke contained in the video included below is very, very good. It may be a little difficult at times to understand the Polish interviewer since English is obviously not his first language but I think the video is very well worth your time to watch since he asks some very good and extremely relevant & timely questions.

Many topics are discussed besides the ones highlighted in the Church Militant's article below including that of the current situation in China, evil in general, Pope Saint John Paul II's effect on youth and even "synodality". Cardinal Burke confirms that the Church was not setup as a democracy ("synodality") but as a hierarchy by Jesus Christ himself.

Imho, this Youth Synod could very well be the bad council that is spoken of in Catholic prophecy.

Cardinal Burke: Homosexuality, Not ‘Clericalism,’ Led to Abuse Crisis

'The majority of the acts which have been committed are homosexual acts done with young men'

DETROIT (ChurchMilitant.com) - Cardinal Raymond Burke is rebutting those who say "clericalism" is the root cause of the clerical sex abuse scandal.

In an interview with Polonia Christiana published this week, the cardinal said, "First of all when people say: 'Oh, no, this is caused by clericalism', I ask them, 'What do you mean?' And most people can't tell me what they mean by 'clericalism.'"

Cardinal Burke clarified that clericalism might motivate people to cover up sexually abusive priests; but the cause of the abuse itself is often homosexuality.

"There is no question that the majority of the acts which have been committed are homosexual acts done with young men," he said.

There is no question that the majority of the acts which have been committed are homosexual acts done with young men. Tweet
While speaking about the homosexual predation scandal surrounding ex-Cdl. Theodore McCarrick, Cdl. Burke noted, "The people rightly feel profoundly betrayed when they see that a priest, who had been abusing young people, was ... promoted to be a bishop, then promoted to be a bishop of a diocese and archdiocese, and then of the archdiocese that is our national capitol, and then made a cardinal."

He also commented, "There is an attempt to simply let this go and not take this seriously. People are not — the good Catholics are not — accepting this, and I don't blame them. I don't accept it either."

This year witnessed a "summer of shame" for the Catholic Church in America, beginning in June with explosive news that there was a credible allegation that McCarrick had committed homosexual abuse. This led to further revelations — including reports that McCarrick preyed on seminarians.

In the midst of the McCarrick scandal, some prominent American prelates were downplaying the broader significance of the bombshell allegations — allegations which led to McCarrick's removal from the College of Cardinals.

For example, Cdl. Donald Wuerl of Washington, D.C. told Canadian dissident Fr. Thomas Rosica in an interview in early August, "I don't think this is some massive, massive crisis."

Later in August, the Pennsylvania grand jury report came out. It implicated Cdl. Wuerl in the cover-up of a ring of pederast priests who produced child porn.

After months of calls for Wuerl to step down — with the cardinal himself flying to Rome to ask the Pope to accept his resignation — Pope Francis finally announced on Oct. 12 that he had accepted Wuerl's resignation.

In the recent interview, Cdl. Burke spoke about the need for laity to confront their pastors and demand that they clearly and unambiguously proclaim the truths of Holy Mother Church. He said, "If someone is not worthy, we need to confront that priest and say to him: 'What you're saying to me I believe is false.' So we need to demand from our priests and bishops that they present to us our Church's true teaching and discipline."

The topic came up of how the ongoing Synod on Youth has included discussion of welcoming LGBT people. Cardinal Burke criticized the use of terms such as "LGBT," arguing, "This type of language should never be in a Church document, and the Church must be very careful not to identify with this movement."

The cardinal pointed out that sometimes the most loving thing to do is to boldly proclaim the truth and call people to chastity: "The Church loves people, even those who can be aggressive in promoting evil. But at the same time, because of our love for those people, the Church is also 'militant' in teaching the truth about our human sexuality and about the appropriate ways in which it expresses itself."

This type of language should never be in a Church document. Tweet
The interviewer asked Cdl. Burke if he thought Poland would be the next target of left-wing, pro-abortion and pro-LGBT lobbying efforts. The cardinal remarked, "I think it's certainly a target and I'm sure a very important target right now. And I pray with all my might — because of that kind of Catholicism I've known in Poland — that the Polish will not give in to this."

Cardinal Burke was asked about the idea that Church leaders need to listen to young people and learn from them. He said:

That's a mistaken, a completely mistaken idea. Yes, we need to listen to the young people in order to understand whatever challenges which they are facing. But the young people have the right to hear from us, from the Church, from their pastors, from their parents, from those who are adults, they have the right to hear from us the truth so that they can order their lives accordingly.
At another point during the interview, the cardinal affirmed that it is important to recognize that the Church has enemies — especially when Her members are faithful to Christ: "I think Satan couldn't be happier than have us think that the enemies of Christ have all gone away and that the enemies of His Church have all gone away."

"I would say that at present times those enemies are probably as ferocious or even more ferocious than they have ever been," he opined. "We see it everywhere. We see it in the attack on human life, we see it in the attack on the integrity of marriage, we see it in the attempt to deny people the freedom to follow their own conscience in moral matters."

Buffalo Catholic Diocese whistleblower to appear on 60 Minutes this Sunday

(WIVB) - The woman who claims to have copied hundreds of incriminating documents from Bishop Malone's secret archives is coming forward.

Siobhan O'Connor, Malone's former executive assistant, will speak to 60 Minutes this Sunday night at 7 p.m.

60 Minutes will reveal what the documents she copied show.

According to CBSNEWS.com, O'Connor accuses him of withholding the names of dozens of priests with sex abuse accusations against them from a report released last March.

"Hundreds of documents O'Connor secretly copied from the confidential files of the Diocese of Buffalo offer an extraordinary window into Bishop Malone's decisions about priests accused of abuse. The devout O'Connor professes love for her church and her bishop. But she says she left the diocese last summer after three years because the documents she discovered indicated the bishop had allowed the accused priests to continue in ministry. "The reality of what I saw left me with no other option because at the end of my life, I'm not going to answer to Bishop Malone, I am going to answer to God," she tells Whitaker."

"I did betray [Bishop Malone], and yet I can't apologize for that, because there was a greater good to consider," says O'Connor.

Whitaker also interviews Deacon Paul Snyder of the Buffalo Diocese. He is the first clergyman of the diocese to call for Bishop Malone's resignation. The information exposed by O'Connor enraged him. "[Bishop Malone] is behaving in a way that you would typically think a CEO in a corporation that's being accused of corrupt practices might act, hiding behind attorneys," he says. Some of the documents O'Connor found were prepared by the dioceses' attorneys.

Since calling for Bishop Malone to step down, he has received 400 notes and emails. "They want to be part of the solution but they think this bishop is preventing that," says Deacon Synder.

60 Minutes has learned that the Buffalo diocese is under investigation by federal authorities. Bishop Malone declined to be interviewed by 60 Minutes.

Chinese authorities destroy two Marian shrines despite Vatican-China agreement
The shrines were pilgrimage sites for both the official Chinese Catholic Church and the “underground” Catholic Church in China.

Beijing, China, Oct 26, 2018 / 02:40 pm (CNA).- As part of an ongoing crackdown on religious practice in the country, Chinese authorities demolished two Catholic Marian shrines this week. The move comes just one month after the Chinese government signed an agreement with the Vatican regarding the appointment of bishops.

According to reports from AsiaNews, government authorities destroyed the Marian shrines of Our Lady of the Seven Sorrows in Dongergou (Shanxi), and Our Lady of Bliss, also known as Our Lady of the Mountain, in Anlong (Guizhou).

The shrines were pilgrimage sites for both the official Chinese Catholic Church and the “underground” Catholic Church in China.

Authorities claim that the shrine in Anlong was destroyed because it lacked the necessary building permits. Local Catholics told AsiaNews that they believe the demolitions were part of the so-called “Sinicization” efforts of the Communist Party to bring the Catholic Church more in-line with the government’s understanding of Chinese culture, society and politics.

Last month, the Holy See announced that Pope Francis had signed an agreement with the Chinese government intended to normalize the situation of China’s Catholics.

The Church in China has been split between the “underground” Church, in full communion with Rome, and the state-run Chinese Patriotic Catholic Association (CPCA), loyal to the government and not the Vatican.

The Chinese government appointed bishops of the CPCA, including several illicit consecrations not authorized by Rome.

While the exact parameters of the accord are unknown, the Vatican announced in September that Pope Francis had lifted the excommunication of seven illicitly consecrated bishops after the signing of a provisional deal with the Chinese government.

Two government-sponsored bishops recently attended the synod meeting on young people in Rome. One of them, Bishop Joseph Guo Jincai, was excommunicated by Rome at the time of his appointment in 2010.

Under the terms of the arrangement, Beijing may propose candidates for bishop, but the Pope must give final approval.

The agreement was intended to regularize the situation of the Church in China, moving towards a unification between the underground and state-sponsored branches. The Vatican-China deal, which Rome termed “pastoral” rather than “diplomatic” has been roundly criticized by human rights groups and some Church leaders, including Cardinal Joseph Zen.

Zen, the former bishop of Hong Kong wrote in a column for the New York Times this week that the agreement was a step toward the “annihilation” of the Catholic Church in China.

Videos taken by locals and posted on AsiaNews this week show authorities using cranes to remove statues from the two Marian shrines; in another video jackhammers can be heard demolishing the Our Lady of Bliss shrine.

The demolitions are the latest in a series actions taken against religious sites, which have continued throughout 2018.

In December, a Catholic church in Shaanxi province was completely demolished, despite having previously obtained the necessary legal permits from the Religious Affairs Bureau, according to AsiaNews.

In late February, local government authorities forcibly removed the crosses, statues, and bell towers from a Catholic church, according to a Union of Catholic Asian News report.

In May, human rights group China Aid reported that a Christian church in China’s Henan province had been “completely razed”, and 40 parishioners that tried to stop the destruction were detained.

In early June, the Way of the Cross at the sanctuary of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in China’s Henan province, a popular pilgrimage site for many Catholics, was torn down by local government authorities without any reason given.

In July, government officials bulldozed Liangwang Catholic church in Shandong province, despite the site having recently been given a government permit to operate legally as a church.

The increased action coincides with changes at the level of the national government in the Spring of this year. At the same time that President Xi Jinping removed limits on his term of office, state supervision of the Catholic Church was placed under the Chinese Communist Party.

New regulations on religious practice went into effect in February, including a prohibition on children entering churches.

In September, the Chinese government placed further restrictions on evangelization, making it illegal for any religious prayers, catechesis or preaching to be published online.

While Cardinal Zen condemned the violations of religious freedom in his opinion piece this week, he warned clergy of the underground church against starting a “revolution.”

“They take away your churches? You can no longer officiate? Go home, and pray with your family. Till the soil. Wait for better times. Go back to the catacombs. Communism isn’t eternal.”

10/25/2018 Rome (AsiaNews) – Chinese authorities tore down two shrines dedicated to Our Lady. One is Our Lady of the Seven Sorrows in Dongergou (Shanxi), and the other is Our Lady of Bliss (pictured), also known as Our Lady of the Mountain, in Anlong (Guizhou).

The two pilgrimage sites, used by both official and underground communities, were demolished just a few weeks after China and Vatican signed an agreement on episcopal appointments.

Reports and videos showing the destruction became public today. The shrine of the Seven Sorrows was apparently destroyed today.

Some Catholic believers told AsiaNews that the shrine in Dongergou was torn down in the name of "sinicisation". For the authorities, there were "too many crosses" and "too many holy paintings" and so they had to go.

The shrine of Our Lady of the Mountain in Anlong was destroyed because the authorities said it lacked the necessary building permits.

One video shows a crane lifting statues in the first shrine; in the other, jackhammers can be heard demolishing the building’s facade.

A week ago, the faithful in Anlong had asked Catholics around the world to pray for their shrine to save it from destruction.

The sinicisation campaign began last February, with new regulations on religious activities. The destruction of churches, crosses, paintings, etc. began in Henan, Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia and spread to Zhejiang, Jiangxi and other provinces.

Since the Sino-Vatican agreement was signed, the pace of destruction has increased. According to various observers, the Chinese Patriotic Catholic Association and the United Front – which are in charge of religious activities – have launched a campaign to wreck the agreement.

Of course she's not condemned-that only applies to Catholics.

I can't understand anyone paying serious attention to prophesy by a non-Catholic, when both the Gospels and a huge tranche of approved Catholic prophesy are there to guide us and seem to be materialising before our eyes.

  15. I think it goes a "bit" beyond who has the authority to "condemn" or not .... in that the Church of course could make a pronouncement and NOT leave it up to the local Bishop to just decide whether or not to have gatherings taking place in Catholic surroundings with permission, if so decided, for the Bishop and priests of the individual diocese themselves to participate and get to know this person. THAT'S a big difference in fact....and beyond opinion only.

  18. Who the heck is "Dermine"? Other than another critic with an opinion who happens to be a Dominican, living in Italy I believe, who has been refuted by another conservative Jesuit priest? So there are a myriad of opinions, but those who have actually had real closer up knowledge of her person seem much more considerate rather than the "remote viewers" from afar!! Must not have been that persuasive anyway since such personal assessment hasn't/doesn't change what Pope Benedict permitted (and which now continues, btw) for his Bishops to decide for themselves in which gatherings continue within various world dioceses and with the cooperation often of very good Cardinals, Bishops and priests attending and participating. Better tell them too that they don't REALLY know the hidden evil within....even with their long term history and knowledge of the individual in question.

And I suppose that the Magisterium ought not have given that Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur to the prophetic revelations....which also still is in force.

Anyway, this sharing of various and probable misinformation has been litigated a number of times in various threads. Might as well not repeat all the info when it's available elsewhere with a lot more specifics.

Time will usually tell....as scripture advises.....and so far the long time involved has brought good fruits of unity and helping the poor.

I don't think that Fr. Dermine is just any old Dominican living in Italy. According to this website: https://ephesians511blog.com/2014/12/14/vassula-ryden-a-compendium-of-what-every-reader-should-know/

François-Marie Dermine, a Dominican priest of Canadian origin, is a professor of moral theology at FTER (the Faculty of Theology of Emilia-Romagna, Bologna, Italy), a member of the executive council of GRIS
(Group of Research and Social-Religious Information), consultant to the Italian Bishops’ Conference for questions on alternative religions, co-director of the review Religioni e Sette nel mondo [Religions and Sects in the World], and official exorcist for his own diocese. He is author of numerous articles on alternative religions and of the following publications, of particular importance for the subject of the present investigation: Vassula Ryden – Indagine critica [Vassula Ryden – A Critical Examination] (Elle di Ci, 1995) and Mistici, veggenti e medium – Esperienze dell’aldilà a confronto [Mystics, Visionaries and Mediums – Comparison of after-life experiences] (Libreria editrice vaticana, 2002). He is co-author of L’estasi [Ecstasies] (Libreria editrice vaticana, 2003).

There's quite a bit of information about Vassula on that website and there appear to be references cited to back up the information given. I didn't read it all but it seems to be genuine. It is rather strange that Jesus would be giving messages for the world to a divorcee living in a second, civil, marriage years before she had her marriage blessed by her Church. (The Orthodox permit divorcees to remarry but I doubt that they accept civil or Lutheran marriage ceremonies as valid).

GRIS owns the pseudomystica website which also has a lot of information about Vassula: http://www.pseudomystica.info/tlighome.html

I love Rome like crazy but there is no doubt it could do with a clean up. They must make a fortune from the tourists so you would think the money to do it would be there somewhere. I would love to see the Rover Tiber cleaned up. I was amazed how run down it is along the river bank and how filthy the river itself is.

I suspect corruption and crime is to blame. Criminal groups like the Mafia seem to lvoe to get involved in Envirnoment buisnesses for some reason. But as far as I cans ee the Vaticna City at least is spotless and well tended. I would love to see the Vatican Gardens sometime ; especially the replica shrine to Our Lady of Lourdes.
