I love Fr Mark because he has a certain direct innocence about himself. He reminds me of something St Therese said about herself; that she never dreamed about anything but things like playing with bunny rabbits and walking in flower meadows. What concerns me more than the Amazon Synod is that we can sense the presence of the Holy Father supporting these changes. If he did not support them they simply would not be happening.
Dr Taylor Marshall and Dr Timothy Gordon have just put out the most extraordinary video ever. An account of demons discussing 1970's Catholicism. I am so looking forward to watching it. But with a certain dread.
I have no doubt the demonic is deeply embedded in the Church, in its hierarchy, in its clergy and its it laity. We know this is the devils end game. The sex revolution in the Church in the 60's was huge. Without it, the clerical homosexual explosion of our era would not have taken hold. Scripture is quite clear our time in history would come and anyone with the slightest grace in their soul can seen the demonic is having its day. But it will not win! One of the worst things the ignorant church leaders did was take out the St. Michael prayer said every Sunday in Church..... from there is was lost in the homes along with the daily rosary our Lady of Fatima requested by prayed as the weapon of choice against these most evil times in history.
Wh What a wonderful talk. Love the two of them and their down to earth style of chatting. By the way, their YouTube videos are available in podcast format on Apple podcasts. That’s how I listen. Presume it’s also available on Android too.
This morning I was out washing the car when I had the most interesting conversation with one of the Jesuit Fathers across the street about Pope Francis and the Amazon Synod. In the past he acted very cagey when I talked about the Jesuit Pope but it looks to me that like a lot of other people he has red pilled. At first he tried to defend Pope Francis by saying that he had addressed the German Episcopate and warned them they could not force change on the Church. But I reminded him that Pope Francis could take two roads in different directions at the same time. For instance when he praised Italy's foremost pro abortionist Emma Bonino as the greatest woman of her generation..there was kick back ..and a little while later he was issuing a startling pro life statement. He nodded his head and looked a little sick. I asked him about the crazy agenda of the synod but he said that folks put forward radical agenda , but things would meet in the middle of the road. I said that Pope Francis was not a Church Document and saying one thing one week and the other the next week provoked massive confusion. He looked sicker than ever and nodded. I reminded am that during the Synod on the family in Ireland radical heretical theologians from all over the world had been shipped into Ireland and did he think they came here by accident? He admitted it was no accident that it was arranged. He looked like he needed an ambulance at the end of our discussion and kind of staggered off with his head down. I , on the other hand, felt perky and pretty happy. It looks like many people including Jesuits are tuning out. He admitted for instance Fr Martin is a disaster. When I pointed out that Fr Martin claims Pope Francis is on the homosexual side appointing homosexualist Bishops and Cardinals the Father said he could not think of one. I named Cardinals Cupich and Tobin. The Father threw his hands up in surrender and admitted I was right. He looked so hang dog. I think he was very, very, very glad to get away from me. But he knew I spoke only the truth. Maybe folks are starting to realise?
AED, I agree. I am up to the 44 minute mark now and it is good. I have only listened to a few of TM's podcasts in the past and some I don't even finish, this one is turning out to be one of the best ones I've heard so far. Padraig, You are far more prepared for a Pope Francis debate than most people I know and you have done well preparing this community for such if we ever experience an encounter similar to yours with this priest. You have done very well!
I felt sorry for the poor priest. Just imagine the only Jesuit Pope in history and he turns into a complete disaster. Its like Noah 's son discovering his Father drunk and naked.
Padraig, It is extremely sad, especially for Jesuit priests. As many on the forum have stated actions speak louder than words and Pope Francis may state very orthodox things from time to time but I think that he has silenced the voices of orthodox clergy time and time again. First, by not addressing the Dubia cardinals directly and you can correct me if I am wrong but I think that no orthodox priests have been invited to any of the major meetings that have occurred since synod on Marriage and the Family in 2014/2015. I remember this to be the case for World Meeting of Families in August 2018, the Youth synod October 2018, the special meeting on sex abuse this past February 2019 and the upcoming synod in October on the Amazon. I may have inadvertently left something out but it is apparent that the list keeps growing and growing.
It is a diabolic deception. By diabolic I mean from the demons. The American Natives had a term , 'To speak with a forked tongue.' In other words to say one thing and intend to do another. Or, simply, to tell lies. The Amazon Synod is a superb example of the Forked Tongue. Of the Diabolical Confusion. U.S. president Harry S. Truman had a sign on his desk with 'The buck stops here' inscribed on it. This was meant to indicate that he didn't 'pass the buck' to anyone else but accepted personal responsibility for the way the country was governed. If the buck does not stop with Pope Francis I have no idea where it stops.
Padraig, It is a good idea to compare "The Busk Stops Here" from President Truman to what Pope Francis is doing because I believe that the pope is not taking responsibility for the "paradigm shift". His modus operandi is that others are asking for these changes but he leaves anyone who is opposing these changes out of the conversation. This is not forthcoming, to say the least. I will continue to pray for the pope and pray for God's will to be done.
Yes , I will pray. Better to try and forget about it all . It upsets me too much. Have you watched this?
