I just learned today, first that my Bishop has put together an updated directive: no Holy Water, drinking from the Cup, holding hands during Lord's prayer, shaking hands at Sign of Peace. BUT, we are free to receive on the tongue or in hand by personal preference!!! Praise God for that last point! I am soo glad & grateful I picked up a 3oz bottle for Holy Water & filled it today! I mentioned these things to my Dad. He thought having it at home was a good idea . I also thought of keeping my tiny 1oz in my purse for use ENTERING & LEAVING church. This too shall pass, as we pray and trust.

Think its Schengen area where free movement with no borders exist..... while UK and Ireland are islands with borders... that's my take on this. Also Dublin and Shannon have pre USA clearance flights as well. Me think its a mistake unless they say exactly what is banned.
