I know the next two weeks in the US are critical but I can't help but be optimistic. Today they showed the Covid deaths in the US as around 10,000. But a few weeks ago they were predicting over a million! That's a huge discrepancy. And they predicted yesterday probably 200,000. I am praying it will be way under that amount. So we will see what the next two weeks and lots of prayer can bring. Ever hopeful . . .

In 2016, in The Atlantic there was a Reuters photo of the present constant scene of Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Anne Schuchat standing behind the official "The White House" podium making predictions with a virus map behind them. (The Atlantic, "The Obama Administration's Zika Offensive," April, 12, 2016) Is President Donald Trump's puppet master during the coronavirus crisis: Dr. Fauci? It is obvious that during the coronavirus crisis Trump, like an actor, is taking his cues from Fauci who he affectionately calls "Tony." It appears that the fate of the United States is no longer in the hands of the president, but on this man's predictions who appears to be the Trump puppet master during this crisis. Fauci's prediction on the "possible" death toll due to the coronavirus in a few weeks changed from almost 2 million (1.7 million) to around 200,000. He seems to be taking the impossible to verify credit for his sudden drastic lowering of death predictions because of his convincing Trump to lockdown the country despite the fact that four of the countries most successful in defeating the coronavirus haven't had a lockdown: Taiwan, South Korea, Canada and Iceland. Moreover, today's Gate Way Pundit states: "Data Shows US Efforts to Combat China Coronavirus Crushed the US Economy -- But Brazil and Sweden have Similar Fatality Numbers with Open Economies." Has Fauci ever made a prediction about a virus that was "scary" and didn't supposedly need to be "hype[d]" despite the fact that he, his collaborators and the media were hyping it? In 2016, Fauci's present coronavirus collaborator Dr. Schuchat speaking about a virus that was "scary" and didn't need to be "hype[d]" according to NBC News said of the Zika virus: "'Frankly, this virus is scary enough on its own. You don't have to hype this,' Schuchat warned." (NBC News, "Doctors say Zika Funding from Congress as some Republicans remain Suspicious, May, 24, 2016) Note that the article had Schuchat not "saying" the above-mentioned quote, but used the scarier word "warned." How's that for objective journalism? In this article, NBC News having impartial journalistic integrity and never "hyping" the news also had the a map from "elife, Oxford University and the University of Washington" warning: " - New Map Finds 2 Billion People at Risk of Zika Virus." Fauci also having impartial integrity and never "hyping" according to the above article warned: "The president [Barack Obama] asked for 1.9 billion because we need 1.9 billion... We need it." How accurate were the Obama administration and its collaborator Fauci's predictions about the "scary" Zika virus that needed $1.9 billion funding because it is was really "scary"? Puerto Rican author Sonia Lugo who wrote "The Zika Virus Hoax Burial Site: Puerto Rico's Downtrodden Economy" according to her Amazon Description revealed: "2017, and the projection of 850,000 Zika infections never occurred in Puerto Rico. Up to this day it hasn't reached more than 40,000. Furthermore, the microcephaly [brain damaged new born babies] were practically none... Who is, or has been behind the Zika hoax of all time? What was the real motives? The FBI and the new Trump DOJ Secretary... is urged to investigate the Obama administration and his CDC [Center for Disease Control and Prevention], and former US Health Secretary." " "Scientists quickly concluded the Zika virus was the culprit... health officials expected another surge in microcephaly cases" "But that never happened." NPR, "Why didn't Zika cause a Surge in Microcephaly in 2016," March 30, 2017) Remember that author Lugo asked: "What was the real motives" for "the Zika hoax"? Stat News reported that pro-life Republicans thought the Obama and Fauci request for almost 2 billion dollars funding might be for killing unborn babies: "Two Republican lawmakers... could get the [Zika] virus [funding] derailed by battles whether the money could be used for abortion." (Stat News, "Abortion politics threatens to derail Zika funding in Congress, February 10, 2016) Why might the so-called non-political scientist Fauci want money to fund abortion? Everyone knows that Obama is pro-abortion and pro-contraception, but nobody apparently realizes that his collaborator Faucis is a Obama protege on this issues and anti-Catholic according to Buzz Feed News: "'How do you treat this in a country where 60% of the pregnancies are unintended, where the Catholic Church doesn't want anything to do with terminating a pregnancy [aborting or killing an unborn baby]?' Fauci asked." It is a heresy to go against these teachings. Today, one of the most heretical orders in the Church is the Jesuit order. Sadly, Sauci did his "per-med... at the [Jesuit] College of the Holy Cross in Worcester." " "... Some felt he was speaking of artificial contraception, since he mentioned a case of nuns using hormones." So much misinformation about this virus. After being assured not to worry about animals spreading the virus a tiger in the Bronx zoo apparently caught the virus from a handler and possibly other animals. And a dog in Hong Kong also tested a week positive. I come into contact with 50 different dogs everyday. I have been keeping my distance from people but now dogs are a concern.
Ivermectin, which may kill covid-19 with one dose, is also the active ingredient in heartworm medicine for dogs. 95% of people I know give their dogs heartworm medicine every month, so hopefully this won't be too big a worry.

Those 'farting' cows to the rescue again! Ivermectin was originally developed as an anthelminthic for cattle. My clients have been using it for decades.
An old doctor friend of mine, not yet sixty and fit with no underlying conditions, recently had to be hospitalised with the virus, and couldn't walk to the ambulance. He's just been discharged and should recover completely, thank God, but it's a lesson not to be complacent.
Trump might have adopted the old adage about it being best to have one's enemies urinating out of the tent, rather than into it. One thing, most of us might never have heard of Fauci and his allies before now, but their antics are being revealed to all. To keep to the crudish metaphor of my first sentence, he is busy flushing his own reputation down the toilet. On the other hand, Trump can take credit for keeping the fatality rate much lower than Fauci's grosser predictions.
Interesting video ...re possible similarities with altitude sickness and the issue of ventilator might hasten death instead of recovery. But I'm no doctor. It also mentioned vit C and zinc as well.

The Lord has impressed upon me over the last month the necessity to increase my prayers for our poor priests which I have; however I did not realise the level of demonic attack that our priests are now contending with, until I read the above article by Mr Wells. I believe the Lord is being very generous to us all and below are the ways the Lord has been so very generous to me, the poorest and most wretched sinner. About 3 weeks ago on Saturday I attended mass in the morning, as all Sunday Masses were cancelled; I felt happy that we here at out parish could still get to week day Masses and confessions (I think I even wrote about this here on the forum) and I was planning to go to confession, adoration, and Mass on the following Friday on my day off work but to my horror all masses and confessions were cancelled at the beginning of that week. I rang the presbytery on that Friday and asked the receptionist a number of questions, including an inquiry about getting water, salt and oil blessed by a priest and I also asked if our priests could put a note on the church door to indicate to all parishioners when masses were being offered, so we could park in our cars at these times outside the church or spiritually join them as they offered mass etc. About 20 minutes after this phone call ended, I received a cryptic text from the receptionist saying that Mass was to be offered in half an hour and enter by the side door near the convent and this was for my ears only?!. I did not understand this text, but I raced to the church and made it in time! the said door was slightly ajar and I entered the Church; there was an older married couple who I know as regular week day mass goers and another man whom I don't know, the four of us were so privileged to be able to attend mass! I did not tell my mum who is a regular mass attendee, as I know she would have phoned other parishioners and this could possibly get our priest in civil trouble if questioned; What a time to be living! I really felt sorry for all the regular week day mass attendees (they are not a great number but a small group of beautiful humble souls) who would all be suffering from not being able to attend mass. Yesterday was Palm Sunday and behold Gods great mercy to this sinner; I was on my way to my mothers home as we had organised that I come to her place to offer prayers together and follow the palm Sunday missal etc. On my way I decided to make a visit to our closed church. I took my rosary beads and some blessed palm from last year and left my bag in the car, I locked my car and went to the large front closed door of the church and knelt at the door and started to pray to my dear hidden King in the tabernacle inside the church. After about only 5 minutes of prayer I heard a car do a u turn behind me and I looked around to see our parish priest get out of his car and walk towards me, he first stated he had blessed palms and put them in a box on the side of the steps at the front of the church for who ever came, and there they were, I had not noticed them, I took a large handful, he then asked if I would like to go into the church and pray inside, I was overwhelmed at this offer! Father opened the sacristy door and let me in to pray before the Blessed Sacrament, he told me I could spend as much time as I wanted! He was going to town to do errands. I was unable to call my mum as I had left my phone in my bag which was in my car and I did not want to put father to any further trouble. I was able to spend over an hour before the Blessed Sacrament alone, I was overwhelmed as I was able to offer my poor unworthy love to my Dear suffering Lord. It was truly an amazing coincidence that I was there at the very time that father was going past to do his errands. God loves us all, even those of us who are the poorest of miserable sinners! We are held in an ocean of Mercy and love. May God always be Blessed! Amen. I got to my mums for our prayers and I explained what had happened, she was happy for me and she understood why I was unable to call her. God is good. I can't believe he has allowed the 2 above coincidences, I feel very humbled. By the way, those wonderful souls, like my dear mum who have been Gods faithful servants for many years, are now, during this pandemic offering their great sufferings and penance to our Lord as they are not able to attend mass or even adore their Lord in the church: They are truly the dearest to Jesus's suffering soul! and they are are winning many souls for Him.
