I don’t that that is fair to say since we do not know what the bishop actually said.

I can easily envision a scenario where he said he doesn’t agree with the era of peace as Fr Michel is describing it. Until I see the actual letter, I think that is the best interpretation of his meaning.

Remember, the letter is about Fr. Michel’s messages - so it makes sense. The Bishop (who ironically was counted as an ally 24 hours ago by supporters and now is being called nuts) was not weighing in on the era of peace itself.

Does anyone have a copy of the actual letter? That would be very helpful.

This is hardly a denial of Fatima’s message. I don’t see anywhere in it that he rejects the Era of Peace.

You are assuming that there is an official letter where he says he does not believe in the era of peace. Remember that the Catholic Catechism is very specific about what happens in the future. There may be suggestions of millennialism in Fr’s messages which would be condemned by the Church outright.

 

Why did Fr Michel state that he had submitted all of his locutions to his Bishop for approval, and then his bishop says that never happened. ????

 

Oh man, Heavenly, there is no millennia with Fatima or Sister Faustina’s explanation. And Fr Michel’s explanation are in accordance. It’s disappointing to have read this from the Bishop.

 

A priest can’t just open a monastery Heavenly. There are too many cracks here. Sad.

It is not their role to improve or complete Christ’s definitive revelation, but to help live more fully by it in a certain period of history. Guided by the magisterium of the Church, the sensus fidelium [collective sense of the faithful] knows how to discern and welcome in these revelations whatever constitutes an authentic call of Christ or his saints to the Church. (Catechism of the Catholic Church 67).

 

Yes, I understand the whole picture. But you do realize that even the visions of Jesus seen by the disciples after he resurrected, could also be alleged private revelations. It’s about faith. But a Bishop who does not believe in Fatima, today, in my opinion, may not believe in much.
