Russia Approves Unproven Malaria Drug to Treat Coronavirus The Russian government has authorized hospitals to treat coronavirus patients with the untested malaria drug hydroxychloroquine, which studies have linked to potentially deadly side effects. Thursday’s decree instructs Russia’s national medical cardiology research center to distribute 68,600 packs of hydroxychloroquine donated by a Shanghai pharmaceutical company to hospitals across Russia for free. More than a dozen countries are studying the effects of hydroxychloroquine to prevent and treat Covid-19. Studies have warned that the drug can be deadly when combined with other drugs, prompting scientists to urge countries to hold off on using it to treat coronavirus until larger trials show its safety and effectiveness. A BBC Russia report last week said that doctors in Moscow were being required to testhydroxychloroquine on themselves despite the drug’s known side effects and the study’s stated voluntary nature. Moscow’s health department issued a tender in early April to buy 2.6 million rubles ($33,200) worth of hydroxychloroquine. Russian scientists are testing vaccine prototypes for the new coronavirus and plan to start human trials of experimental vaccines in June. I never get it. My family urges me annually to get a flu vaccine and I never do, and everyone thinks I'm a fool. Then this.
And how many of these people will starve to death? And how many people in Africa and Asia will starve to death? I'm sure Bill Gates grins as he thinks of the 10's of millions of people who will likely die because of this lockdown. President Trump should redirect the WHO money to providing food to those who might starve because of this lockdown.

Keep a supply of medicines. Get a flu shot.” I have no problems with the idea of washing hands. That is a good antimicrobial technique. As for keeping a supply of medications, the author of the article is making the point of having a 30-day supply of medications on hand in case you cannot go out to get them. I have no issue with that advice. Get a flu shot? WHAT? WHERE DID THAT COME FROM? The writer states, “Infectious disease specialists strongly recommend flu vaccination. And the best protection for older people against bacterial pneumonia is, paradoxically, to vaccinate children…” Folks, this is another example of FAKE NEWS! The flu vaccine has never been shown to protect against pneumonia. I would suggest the opposite is true; those who get the flu vaccine will be more at risk for other non-flu-like infections such as coronavirus. (1) This idea that the flu vaccine disrupts the immune system’s ability to fight infections is nothing new. In fact, it was first described in 1960 in relation to the flu vaccine. I wonder if the flu vaccine was mandated in China before the coronavirus epidemic began. That could explain why so many Chinese were infected with coronavirus. It is important to keep in mind that the flu vaccine regularly fails most (usually over 90%) who receive it. Yes, and what will make you even angrier is when you learn about the work Dr. Mikovitz was put in jail for. She and her colleagues had pretty solid proof that at least 25 million people in the US have been infected with a monkey virus called XMRV the source of which is most likely....... childhood VACCINES. XMRV is likely the main cause of chronic fatigue (myalgic encephalomyelitis) as well as a host of other illnesses including cancers and other autoimmune disorders. I can't remember the exact dates but if you have kids now in their late teens to early 30's they've likely been exposed. While the NAID was beginning to investigate her claims, when Dr. Fauci became the director he shut down the study saying it was a waste of taxpayer money and ensured she was shut up (eg thrown in jail with a gag order). She's written a book about this (with her lawyer) called Plague.
If one projected India's death-rate to a country the size of Ireland, it would be the equivalent of totally locking down the country for the sake of two deaths. The Irish 'Government' (one without a mandate, having been rejected by the electorate but only remaining because nobody has yet managed to form a new government) has been delivered the ghastly economic figures from their first short few weeks of lockdown, yet plough merrily on as if something magical is going to turn up. We are not alone, with the growth figures for all European economies in the first quarter strongly negative to the order of between 6-10%. Presumably, most of them think the ECB will print more euro to save the day. I wouldn't be so sure, with a landmark German court decision last week that over-ruled a European one. The implication is that EU solidarity is almost dead and the very conservative German Bundesbank will not agree to further ECB Quantitative Easing (what an absurd phrase), ensuring it will not go ahead. The consequences will be an enormous and unprecedented 'reset' of the world economy. As usual, the poor will suffer most. Inflated asset prices will, I think, collapse and food will rise in price. In the long run, these changes will be beneficial, because people have been paying far too much for housing and transport and many have developed a virtual contempt for the most vital things in life, treating food more as a lifestyle or plaything than a necessity. The interim will be incredibly painful and I expect we will have few freedoms left at the end of it.
I am curious about the pneumonia vaccines, Prevnar 13, and Pneumovax 23. Are they really safe, and effective in preventing bacterial pnuemonia?
I hesitate every year to have one. But then I'm pressured into it. I think I wont ever again. I have had 3 nasty flu in the last 3 years with the shot Could being without it be any worse?
My dad, God rest his soul, was always insistent that the flu vaccine was necessary and was upset I do not get it for me and my family. He got the flu and the pneumonia shot every year. And he had flu and when he got colds it would go to pneumonia. Of course, he had huge issues with his lungs so it wasn't unheard of that he contracted pneumonia so often. But the shot was supposed to help. I didn't see it work. That's what my experience is with the pneumonia shot......it doesn't work. But I am not a doctor so it is just my own experience.
