The highest chair in the world will soon be vacant. It is not a position created by man or sustained by natural powers. This office has endured for centuries and will be present even when I return in glory. It is sustained by my promise that the gates of hell would not prevail against my Church. The papacy, like other institutions, has seen high points and low moments. Yet, this boat of Peter has navigated the tides and has never been shipwrecked. Now, this chair of Peter has been brought to this special moment by a pope who obeyed my inner word that he should hand over the keys of the kingdom to another.
What a solemn and unique moment in modern history. A living pope surrenders his powers so another pope can gain them. A living pope removes himself from the chair of Peter so another could take his place. Only I could have brought this about as my Holy Spirit stirred so forcibly in the heart of Benedict. He would have served as long as I wanted him to.
Understand the greatness of this act. Even more, understand the uniqueness of what I have done. See it as a sign that I have only begun to act. Would I bring about this highly unusual resignation and then allow the conclave to proceed in its usual manner. Why have I done this? What am I doing? All the cardinals must see this. They must not approach the conclave as they previously thought. Let them be ready for my special stirrings in their hearts and for my special actions within the conclave itself.

The cardinals cannot pull a curtain so that no one sees what they are doing. All the eyes of heaven will be upon them. All the eyes of earth will see someday what has taken place in these extraordinary meetings. The events will be recounted down through the ages. I know there is secrecy but secrecy does not pertain to heavenly actions and divine interventions. These must not be kept secret.
In the beginning of the conclave (and even before it begins) there will be divine signs. The cardinals will speak of “coincidences”. There will be so many of these that any cardinal with great faith will realize how much I am guiding this process. These signs will greatly influence the thinking of many. More important, the cardinals’ level of faith in direct divine interventions will grow strong and firm. This is the first stage – hearts that are ready to believe because they have seen.
As the cardinals gather more intensely in the days before the conclave, this will provide me with a greater opportunity. I will work in the hearts of my special cardinals by an illumination. They will begin to see, not a certain candidate, but a vision of the purpose of this conclave. This will shatter all their false reasoning’s and will purge them. They will be cleansed in my heart and made ready to act on by behalf in the conclave itself.
I will speak here only of the initial days of the conclave. There will be great confusion. Cardinals from all over the world, with totally different thought will gather, many for the first time. The opening days will be in the human spirit. This is quite natural. Let this human spirit be quickly spent, like morning clouds that pass away with the heat of the sun.

 

This words seem to me that could only come from Jesus our Lord Himself. This is the promise I see in the gospel that He made to Peter, that he -and his successors- would always be sustained and protected by Christ Himself.

This makes my faith and trust soar. And my heart is moved in deep gratitude to God, and to Pope Benedict.

I read other blogs and forums and many people who love dearly our beloved Pope Benedict are so distraught at his resignation. I consider an incredible grace that God is deigning to share with us, through a messenger, how much He is behind this decision, He is with the Church, He is with us, and no matter how hard the Church is hit -and will be- she will not perish. There will still be a Pope when Christ returns in Glory at the end of the time!!! Isn't this the gospel promise spelled out?

 

It seems to me that the extraordinary developments that will lead the cardinals towards God's desired outcome of the conclave will not be visible or apparent to us. This is what I take from these words. So let's be prepared to not have any prove of what is announced, but let's keep praying for everything in God's Plan to happen with the cardinals. let's pray, pray, pray with great trust and joyful expectation, knowing that the new Pope will be this special son of Mary to lead the Church safely in the midst of desaster.

Are their cries heard? Do those in high places hear these lowly voices? Right now the cries of Syria reach the ears of America. They call on you and on your President to come to their aid. They are being massacred by overwhelming power. What is your response? How do you act? The judgment against you will be severe.

Thank you for posting this, Padraig. Where is my skepticism when I need it?

 

With all respect, Padraig, you interpret and change "use the military" for " attack". This is NOT what the message says. This is YOU projecting what you would expect the military doing.

The military is a neutral force in itself. What -and how do you use it is what matters. Military power can -and has been- a peaceful force disuading violence. This is how I understand the message is suggesting. At least this is one real possibility of military use.
The message DOES NOT SAY "ATTACK".
To say that the message says "attack" with the military, is a LIE.

My two cents on this.

 

If we look at the history of American military involvement in other countries, the majority have involved the use of force. We have lost so many of our men and women in these actions. The violence continues as we speak in both Iran, Iraq, and Afganistan. I am not criticizing or military women and men, at all. They have and continue to serve our country in ways that make me proud to be an American, but I don't believe Our Lady would endorse the use of military force. And when you contrast these messages with those of Our Lady of Medjugorje, you see such a difference in tone and love. When she says that the American Military should be used, well, I get very skeptical. This just doesn't sound right to me.

 

I cannot imagine how the USA military could be deployed in Syria without being killed and killing as their is a full scale Civil War going on there. Additionally as Russia and China support the Surain regime any US involvement could lead to international confrontation.

How could the US military become involved without use of weapons? Of course they will have to attack , if only to defend.

This cry to arms of the Queen of Peace isn't my only difficulty with these messages. The stle is too newsy and story like...., very miaginative a real construct, it doesn't have the poetry the dance like quality of authentic messages, it comes across like a newsreader. Plus the ,'visionary', is anonymous and I never like them to hide. Of course St Catherine Laboure was anonymous at the Rue Du Bac but still...

If you hide you are not taking any risks and if you are not risk taking how seriously are you to be taken...

..as I said before the messages are a bit like a news channel...the result of a highly developed imagination..

You are a reasonable man so I think you will agree that just because you cannot imagine how, doesn't mean that it is not possible.

Can't you believe that Mary can inspire even the military??? What about Joan of Arc?

There are historical proofs that this is possible. Many battles have been won totally out of proportion of military forces. Read the bible. There are stories that I just CAN'T believe as historically true, and yet, they were, confirmed by other sources.

It is not a given that the US military will necessarily HAVE TO ATTACK. You don't have the resources and the knowledge to judge this, or do you?

We are talking about Heaven here. Do you know better? Is there anything impossible with God????Where is your faith, my friend?

The terrible thing about this part of this message, to me, is that on the Day of Judgement those military people who had the means and the opportunity to prevent massacres of innocent people and they didn't act, it will be counted on them as a sin of omission.

And this sounds to me like the purpose of The Warning: to straighten the conscience of each one of us about the wrongs done and the goods we didn't do.

After all it is Heaven's opinion what counts, not mine. I will see then during the Warning or in my personal judgment, in God's light, that I was wrong.

I'm not talking about you, Padraig, as being wrong, but trying to explain what I see as a big limitation of your reasoning, which might be preventing you to "see" further.

Ok, now it is "the style" that you don't like . And so what????
Does Heaven have to restrain to communicate in a style that you like or approve? I mean, look at the Bible, how many styles do we have there? Are all of your liking? I tell you that there are a few that I would not approve if I had a say on them .

Besides, God is Humility, and He tends to respect us so much that will adapt Himself to be "deformed" by the instrument through which He communicates to us, no matter what or who that instrument is.

Also God is always NEW and creative. why shouldn't God try new forms today, and speak of the events as they are happening and about to happen instead of centuries before or later?

These locutions are meant in a big part also for non Christians and non believers. They even explain how to become a Christian if you are in a remote non-Christian location in the world, but you read this in the Internet and receive the gift of faith and want to act on it -and there are no Christians around. They explain how you could be baptized. Isn't this amazing??????

As for anonymity, it is true that the locutionist is kept anonymous but the spiritual director is taking the whole risk of responsibility for the content. Which to me is as valid. As you point out, there is the previous case of St. Catherine Laboure.

Anyway. All in all, I too take the Locutions with a grain of salt, and I'm on the expectation for confirmation. But until it comes I keep my possibilities open, and above all, I allow the gifts of hope and joy that they bring to my heart to work in me to TRUST God much more during this critical time. I find myself lighter and more ready risk and love God thakns to these messages.

I'm not trying to convince you, but only to show you that there are flaws also in your objections.

At least 60,000 have died in the conflict in Syria - we live in troubled times - when we add the figures from Afghanistan, Egypt, Iraq it is truly shocking the scale of death. Let us remember the souls in purgatory who have died a violent death. God Bless them all.

 

To threaten with bombs and military action isn't true peace. However, the Country could be boycotted and no financial deals done etc... But that would never happen because it is such a rich Country. And we are held to ransom because of the oil etc..

We could boycott and shun without using violence. And pray for them in the process... But military action, I just can't get my head around. Yes, as in United Nations peace keeping. But for America to go out by itself is questionable

OHHH NOOOO! Maria is not anonymous...you know who she is and many know that her Archbishop did not approve of her. She is no more anonymous than I am! I refer to Fr. John Essiff as a just and wise spiritual director Worthy OF DISCERNING what is going on....its HIS BUTT if she is wrong...!

These messages really appear to be appealing to the sentiments, and emotions, of some.

I would like some of these prophecies to be true, but I am as skeptical as Padraig. And the language being used IS an issue, because it shines a light on WHOSE intellect we are being treated to. Most authentic messages, as in Faustina's diary for example, have a perceptable personality and intellect that shines as Our Lord's. I also found the same to be true in Saint Gemma Galgani's diary (or "Notebook of My Sins" as she called it), or in the Way of Divine Love (Sister Josepha Menendez), a kind of precursor to the Divine Mercy revelation.

Because of the language, and sentence structure (and even grammatical error), these messages do not ring true to that quality, or seem to be from the identifiable personality of God the Son, in my opinion only. I actually made some notes on several phrases as I read through several messages, and I began to feel like I was at a meeting in my office with business jargon and cliches being thrown around left and right.

Does God speak to us: Via Inner Locution?
A "locution" is a particular voice.
An "inner locution" is a particular voice within.

Here we will have an example of an outer locution, (because it is easier to explain, and we will allow our own "minds eye" to transpose it into the hearing of the inner voice)
Your best friend has stepped into the kitchen where you no longer have visual contact. The friend has gone to the refrigerator .. and yells back to you in the living room where you are watching a movie .... "Would You like a glass of Orange Juice?"... upon hearing the friends "voice" you don't have to discern within your mind .."Hmmmm was that my cousin Vincent?" or "Hmmmmm was that a dog barking?" .. NO... You know - recognize - and understand, that it was your friend simply asking a rhetorical question. (it is being assumed that you always want some Orange Juice) but anyway. Your mind had no need for the advantage of vision to know that it was the same person you were enjoying a movie with moments earlier, for when "heard", you know the friends voice and would never mistake it for another.
Over time we have all heard stories of persons committing all sort of atrocities in society because "Voices told them to do so". There are sound medical reasons for most of these malfunctions within human brains .. (tumors - chemical imbalances - self induced substance abuse are a few) but putting the rare extremes aside, we all seem to "feel" we have, or know someone that is sound of mind yet has, "heard a voice" at some point in their life.

This is the essence of Inner Locution and the only "Inner Locution" which is worth paying enough attention to and learn to "recognize", is that of the voice of God.For most of us, it will be that "voice" of our "Guardian Angel" and if so "that Angel" has been assigned by God and we are to learn to respond to that "voice" by Gods design ..

Some humans like to refer to "it" as "our conscience speaking", BUT "conscience" is a completely different tool (given by God) which is part of our active awakened mind.
Unlike an "inner locution" which is a "notion", voiced to us, that one could have not generally conceived given the usual circumstances of ones office in life.
A holy locution will never contradict the up front teachings within the Gospels, in other words, unlike our conscience, a true holy locution will never lead the receiver, of a message, away from LOVE or any of the facets of LOVE.

This is where some of us get into trouble. we allow ourselves to weaken our conscience and to be tricked by the enemy, falling into a state of sin, trusting in and acting upon that weak conscience it can be believed that we are receiving all sort of "inner locutions" in an attempt to find ourselves a way out, of that miserable state.
Without realizing (and pride will do this) that it is NOT OURSELVES that can find the way out of sin, but instead, we must be "lead" by the Voice of God "inner - outer or otherwise".

If not corrected, via a proper confessing and heartfelt acceptance of forgiveness, these thoughts can lead a person to believe they have fallen into a "demonic possession".
Not that, that can't happen, it is extremely rare, and usually is more the actions of pride within a shameful individual looking to put all the blame on some abstract "demon" bypassing the personal responsibility of the guilt and remorse due. Remorse which should lead directly to confession and expiation.
This pride (generally that of tortured scruples) can become a "demonic obsession" ... In other words becoming mentally "obsessed with" rather than physically "possessed by" evil and is the foremost reason that exorcism is very very rarely needed.

Bottom line on "inner locution" is:
We all possess the capacity to "hear Gods voice" within. Although for most of us it would seem that the "voice of conscience" which is Gods Gift and echoes His words throughout all time, is generally enough to keep each following the path He has laid out to fulfill our office in life and bring us safely home.
None the less we each need to continually pay attention to and listen for that "inner voice" of God. Which (again) will be that of Our Guardian Angel Speaking Gods Daily Instructions, and it is THIS VOICE we need desperately to learn to be familiar with.

 

Most of the Locutions TTW (there are several hundreds) are given by our Blessed Mother, not from Jesus.

I find it very interesting to hear how do you discern about the origin of these locutions. Very different from what I do.

Let just me clarify that it is not because they touch the emotions that they are considered true, but because they are considered true they touch -deeply- the emotion. There is a big difference.
