I live in Ireland the where the government who celebrate abortion and call it Health Care, as well as celebrating demonic relationships and call it "marriage" as equality. Have now forced the whole country in Level 5 lockdown without any justification, this is now causing more anxiety, depression. suicides, domestic violence, child abuse missed hospital appointments and with and the additional job losses causing additional poverty causing more healthcare issues. The country will also now have massive additional national debt on top on the massive debt the Irish banks caused which has been got forced onto the Irish Taxpayer. The same Government who have stopped us attending Holy Mass. You think for 1 minute I'm going to believe that this government is interested in my well being. No Chance. Please do your research. I WILL NOT BE OBEYING THE ORDERS OF IRISH GOVERNMENT AND I WILL ATTEND HOLY MASS TOMORROW MORNING.

I kept telling people that this is a bad thing... from real people who are actually fighting this... both from docs and patients... and for weeks on here all people keep going on about is how corona is fake, how it isn't so bad, how so many people aren't really dying, how this is overhyped by the media... blah blah blah... Glad that finally someone sees what this is really like. And yes this is only the tip of the iceberg for the next few months. Pray this isn't coming to your town as it is hitting other places now. I'm not an idiot, I listen to the medical experts who present the facts, science and data. I'm not saying its a fake virus neither are any of the qualified people in the videos. So based on what you have stated these experts, including Fr Altman are all idiots! You obviously haven't taken the time to check the content of any of the articles or videos, and if you do this will give you the opportunity to tell us what these medical qualified and experienced people have got wrong with their mathematics. There is no scientific evidence that mask prevent the spread of coronavirus so Ill post more videos for your to check, I do care about others and as a christian that should be top our list, I also care about Truth and that's why I warn about the main stream media. There are more cases because their are more testing. I had to be tested recently because I was in close contact with someone but I wasn't worried as I am healthy with a good immune system and strong faith and the recovery rate is over 99%. If It had came back negative and if it had been positive I wouldn't have been worried. The person I was in close contact with has made a full recovery. In the UK Covid deaths was listed as the 24th top killer. 23 other disease's and illness killed more but no lockdown or constant news about them. The elderly and vulnerable need to be protected and precautions taking to try and prevent them catching the virus. but lockdowns are not the answer. So let me ask you should Lockdowns continue? and is so for how long. Do you care about the damage that the lockdowns are doing to peoples lives, the suicides, the depression, the anxiety, the domestic violence etc? How come Sweden are doing better than any other country and they didn't have a lockdown or mandate masks? The Covid particle is roughly 120nm a lot smaller than masks so where is the sense in wearing a mask, also people are told not to touch the masks and if they do to replace them do you replace yours every time you touch yours? I look forward to your answers. Its obviously dreadful for families of people that this virus has hospitalized and either caused their death or contributed to their death. As Christians we should be people of Faith, the lord has given us common sense so if we anyone who in the at risk group due to bad health, age or obese due to unhealthy diets then these people do have to take steps to try and avoid being infected by the virus. Also Fear causes anxiety, which can weaken the immune system which makes it a lot harder for people to fight the virus. I think that map might not be accurate. I watched a few Masses online from England recently (within the last few weeks)and there were people there other than the priest. Today I joined the online Holy Hour including Vespers from another church in England and there were people other than the priest. They began preparing the altar for Mass which was due to begin right after the Holy Hour and there were people in the front pews who seemed to be there for Mass. You're fortunate to be able to attend Mass in Ireland. All the churches around here are closed during Mass. Please don't reveal on the forum where you will be attending Mass if there's any possibility that doing so could cause problems for the priest.
I think it unfair to say that "for weeks on here all people keep going on about is how corona is fake". There are different opinions about it here as there would be among any group of people. Governments (and the all hallowed scientists) have only themselves to blame if people are suspicious of them. Here in Ireland, we went from an all is well attitude to ridiculously draconian laws almost overnight. And while the citizens of this country were forbidden to travel further than 3 km from their homes, anyone could travel here from abroad and move freely around the country. The most that was required of them was that they fill in some form and it wasn't mandatory for them to do so. People who have been complying with all the regulations are fed up with being treated like children. I have been wearing masks, using sanitiser, sanitising food packaging, etc. since long before the imposition of any rules to do so but I don't believe I have any right to demand that others do the same. At this stage, we all know what we must do to protect ourselves and we have an obligation to not put an unnecessary burden on the health services. I'm not convinced that we were given accurate information from the beginning But that doesn't mean that the virus is of no consequence.
I was sorry to hear that in person Mass is not available to you. We had that situation from March 18th to mid June. Then we returned to limited seating Mass indoors until July 13th when they said that indoor Mass was not allowed, so we immediately switched to outdoor Mass. We had outdoor Mass all through the hot summer and early fall until Oct 3rd when we could return to indoor Mass, but alas the covid numbers have gone up again so we are back to outdoor Mass. All this to ask or suggest that hopefully your Bishops and priests will allow outdoor Masses for you. They are rather nice. We bring our own folding chairs and sit 6 feet apart from each other. Hopefully they will make that option available to you, it works well for the time being.
I concur 100% with your position. I have used a lot of the same sources as yourself. I don't and won't wear a mask but do wear a face shield in shops (more out the desire to avoid unneccesary confrontation than any belief in effectiveness). The lockdowns are unnecessary and do much more harm than good. There appears to be a sinister agenda at work in removing many civil liberties when this covid outbreak is not much worse than the Asian flu of 1957 or the Hong Kong flu of 1968-9. The draconian reaction of authorities needs to be challenged. In Van Morrison's protest song against lock-downs he says 'give them an inch and they will take a mile'. People need to waken up and realise the new normal means that this lockdown approach is the new permanent. You say covid is the 24th highest cause of morbity in the UK -- are you able to provide a source for this as it is a great stat -- I'm surprised that it is even as high as that but of course the numbers are being manipulated. Anyone who tests 'positive' for covid and dies within 28 days is a covid death even if they die of something else. As for the PCR test it is very unreliable in testing for covid -- and the authorities know that -- they have the 'media' (equivalent to the ministry of Enlightemnent and propaganda) on their side pushing the same fear narrative. Fear mongering works. Tell a lie, tell a big lie often enough and people will believe. We are most definitely headed towards totalitarianism.
