Conchita’s “Kris Kringle” It still amazes me to this day how Conchita does everything in her life ( and that of her family ) with a “spiritual “ and a non secular basis. I called her years ago ( asking how her Christmas was ) , and was reminded of how they celebrate Christmas , and I’m pretty sure its different than anyone else’s celebration, I’ve ever heard of. Their form of a “ Kris Kringle” ( where you secretly buy a gift for someone , and reveal it later ) is quite unique. It actually starts on Thanksgiving evening. They pick a random name of a family member secretly, and for the entire duration of the Advent season, they do a daily rosary for the person they picked. On Christmas day , the only gift given to your person is a Mass card for their intention, revealing who finally was praying for you the whole Advent season. Can you imagine telling your family we are not celebrating Santa, but something that honors Christ ? She is a beacon of holiness and humility in this troubled, and selfish world. God bless her for her living example !
Conchita & Humility For a time, when she was younger, while she was living in Fatima many years ago, she went daily to an older priest’s residence to volunteer as a cleaning lady. As on other occasions, she went there using the name of Maria, in order not to be recognized. However, one day someone recognized her and immediately all the resident priests knew that the woman who swept the floors of their residence was Conchita of Garabandal. From then on, nothing was the same. Conchita told me that when the priests discovered who she was, they changed the way they treated her. She said she was sorry that they had found out who she was because she felt better serving those elderly priests anonymously. Reminds me very much of Saint Bernadette. "The Blessed Virgin used me like a broom. What do you do with a broom when you have finished sweeping? You put it back in its place, behind the door!"
Garabandal and the Holy Shroud Only after Father Eusebio Garcia de Pesquera had written his comprehensive book on Garabandal, SHE WENT IN HASTE TO THE MOUNTAIN, did it come to light that the Shroud was mentioned at Garabandal. It was during one of Conchita's ecstasies when the Blessed Virgin spoke to the visionary about the Sabana Santa (Spanish for Holy Shroud). Among the spectators at that ecstasy was the Marquesa de Santa Maria, an excellent witness, and it was from her that Prof. Jacques Serre learned what the Virgin said about the Shroud. The Marquesa heard Conchita repeat the words of Our Lady: "It is the divine imprint of my Son."

SACRED GROUND The Virgin Mary referred to “the Pines“ : "God loves this place very much. This place is sacred." GARABANDAL- “The Pines - Sacred ground “ . We all know about the special area of Garabandal called "The Pines" (the 9 Pine trees where the Blessed Mother appeared, and foretold of the great Miracle that will take place there),but there are some other facts that have been forgotten about over time. Mary called this place "sacred". Conchita 's Grandfather Serafin, in 1947 he was the mayor of the village, had the idea that every child, in commemoration of his or her First Holy Communion would plant a pine tree on the heights above the village as a symbol for his or her life. Of those planted, nine survived and grew into massive trees, at the place to which the Virgin Mary referred ' saying: "God loves this place very much. This place is sacred." Today they are called "los pinos" and we await the great Miracle announced by the visionary children. Mary said "It will be the greatest miracle that my Son, Jesus, will have ever performed for mankind. It will also be the last one before the end”. Recently I have confirmed that Garabandal has a history of doing a nightly Rosary for over 500 years ! It’s no wonder why “God loves this place very much,this place is sacred !”

ECSTATIC WALKS AT NIGHT Watch how the girls would walk at night, not only through the town without looking where they are stepping, but more impressive was the ecstatic walks at night through the rocky cow paths, never falling, or being injured.
Glenn could you confirm if it is true that one of the visionaries in Garanbadal would have said that the Warning would take place 3 weeks or 3 months before the Miracle? I remember reading about this claim on a website, but I don't remember the source and who would have made that claim.
I am of the personal opinion that the Warning will be within the first three months of the year, knowing that the Miracle is in April, and as Mary Loli said they would happen in the "same year". I further felt convinced after speaking with the late noted Author Thomas Fahy. Here is our correspondence on the subject of " 3 weeks or 3 months". Miracle after the Warning ,3 weeks or 3 months? Dear Glenn, In the late 1980´s or early 1990´s, two Priests, whom I knew personally at that time, visited Mari Loli in Massachusetts. On their return one of the Priests told me that Mari Loli disclosed to them, when they were leaving, that the Warning would be in an even-numbered year. Several years later I asked the same Priest if Mari Loli said even numbered year. He said, "Yes". I have also read about or heard the same from other sources, which I do not recall now. In another situation, I was told by a man in Massachussets, who knows the Pastor of the Church that Mari Loli attended, that Mari Loli was speaking to her Pastor in Massachusetts one day, after he came to know about her relation with Garabandal, and told him that she could not remember whether the Blessed Virgin told her that it was 3 weeks or 3 months that the Warning would precede the Miracle. That would confirm that the Warning and Miracle are in the same year, as she said in her July 27, 1975 publicized interview. I take the same year to be the same calendar year. I am still getting requests for Conchita's message from March of this year, so I'll re-post it again. CONCHITA’S MESSAGE I asked Conchita if she would be kind enough to offer some words of advice to all of us, in this troubling times. Here are her words. "God is detaching us from the securities of this world. In the silence of the Church or in our house, we are now able to make an examination of conscience so we can clean what prevents us from hearing the Voice of God clearly. With sincerity we can ask God to tell us what He wants of us today, and continue to do that every day. And spend as much time as possible with God at church or somewhere in your home or where you find the silence. He is all we need." 3-19-20
In 2017, Fr. Jose Saavedra wrote a book entitled "Garabandal Message of Hope." This 2017 book (available on Amazon) was based on his licentiate. More recently - as I've been told - he completed his doctorate on Garabandal and a subsequent book has been published. Can anyone advise me regarding where I can purchase the more recent book? Or, have I been misinformed? Thanks!
I have heard the same and I am looking into it, I also heard it's only in Spanish,so that might be a deal breaker for me.

(other than the pope). 2.Conchita will reveal it 8 days in advance. (I will announce it here ). 3.It will be on a Thursday evening, between the 8th -16th, at 8:30pm ( Spanish time ). 4. It will happen between the Months of March, April and May. (My research says it will be in April. ) 5. It will be on the Feast Day of a young male Martyr of the Eucharist. 6. The Martyr will not be Spanish. 7. It will coincide with a great event in the Church, but will not be a feast day of our Lord or a Marian feast day. 8. It will be visible to all in the Village of Garabandal, and the surrounding mountains. The sick who are present will be cured and the incredulous will believe. It will be the greatest miracle that Jesus will have performed for the world. There won't be the slightest doubt that it comes from God . 9. It will be able to be filmed and televised. 10. It will last for about 15 minutes, and after that a permanent sign will remain at the Pines forever !
