I have been thinking for a couple of weeks now, something is coming to America which will not be good! It has made me very uneasy. I had a similar experience last May till the election that President Trump would win, but it did not matter it would be stolen from him and us! I prayed, fasted, did many rosaries, many holy hours, Many Masses for Trump to win. But I could never shake the feeling that he would win, but he will not be president. I told many people at the time, including my family. They all thought I was nuts, and that I was crazy. But God made it known to me very clearly, even though I did NOT want that outcome of a Trump loss, because I knew what it would mean for our country! I begged God, pleaded with Him, but I could not shake the fact Trump would not be President. I had to accept it, even though it was very difficult for me! The reason Why is was very difficult for me to accept, is that my main job has been a prayer warrior for this country for more than 30 years because of a terrible dream I had about this country. So it became my mission to pray for the USA. So, I have begun to feel to now dedicate all my prayers, Masses, Holy hours, rosaries, Fasting, all in honor of Saint Joseph for the rest of the year that has been dedicated to Him. I do not know exactly the reason for this, but somehow it is important not just on a personal level, but for America as well. Because, Saint Joseph is in FACT The TERROR of Demons, which I think we will be facing in this country more and more in the coming months. We will need Saint Joseph guidance I feel! I have a deep devotion to Saint Padre Pio as well, so God used that and gave me confirmation today for this spiritual endeavor for Saint Joseph today. I will post that confirmation I received below. I will be posting about Saint Joseph daily about His wonders, which are numerous! But more importantly His protection for the church and the children of God!

WONDROUS WEDNESDAY: THE DAY OF ST JOSEPH IN THE LIFE OF PADRE PIO
    [IMG]
In recent months I have felt like I've been living in Italy of the 1880s: this was the decade when Padre Pio's parents got married and when he was born. I studied the calendars from that time to find out which day of the week certain episodes happened. As I've been re-writing the chapters of my book on Pio that concern his early life, it has simply amazed me that the most important events of his young life occurred on Wednesdays.

Why Wednesday you may ask, and you may also ask if this is mere coincidence. Bear with me as I explain the concise answer. Wednesday is the day devoted to St Joseph who is terror of demons, and as such that day has special protection from demonic attack. Joseph is present in every hour of Wednesday - the day belongs to him and that time is like his property - and the evil spirits have much less room to run in the minutes where Joseph holds sway.

Padre Pio's parents were married on a Wednesday. This is noteworthy because his mother's relatives were against the marriage and tried to dissuade her from marrying Grazio, Pio's father, because he was from a poorer background. So much could have gone wrong on their wedding day. But Wednesday June 8th 1881 was a gloriously peaceful day, and Grazio and Guiseppa had a beautiful wedding. Had Grazio and Guiseppa never married, they would never have had the son who grew to be Padre Pio.

Padre Pio was born on a Wednesday. On May 25th 1887 he came into the world in his parents' bedroom and as Guiseppa cradled him and his creamy blonde curls fell about the crook of her arm, she was not to know that her little one had suffered in her womb when demons had bullied him.

Yes, even when he was an unborn baby, Pio was subject to ferocious demonic persecution. But such demonic vexation always stopped completely on a Wednesday and thus Guiseppa had a serene labor. Grazio and Giuseppa, however, did not plan for their son to be born on Wednesday. Heaven designed that Pio was born under the great protection of Joseph.

Padre Pio was ordained a priest on a Wednesday, August 10th, 1910. I had a suspicion about this before I checked the calendar because the day was so completely free from demonic interference. Thus he became Padre Pio on Joseph's day.

Padre Pio never shared the exact date in 1910 that he first received the stigmata as a newly ordained priest. But it may well have happened on a Wednesday. I fully believe this to be the case. The peaceful day he describes has all the hallmarks of a Wednesday. As a young priest, Pio was often beaten up by the demons, pursued relentlessly by them, but they always disappeared on Wednesday. When he first received the wounds of Christ, he was relaxing and praying in the shade of an almond tree. The mere fact that he was at ease and was not being harrassed by even one demon tells us it was Wednesday. I got he above article from a link from the blog site Spiritdaily.com http://thepathlesstaken7.blogspot.com/2021/07/wondrous-wednesday-day-of-st-joseph-in.html The blog belongs to Mary O'Regan from Ireland: I do not know her.

Purple Flower, I was not posting the link to prove if what she said was true about Padre Pio being attacked as an unborn baby, just the confirmation from God to me about dedicating my prayers, and all my spiritual works in Saint Joseph's honor. Mainly for America, because I have a very uneasy feeling in regards to our Nation that I can't shake. I feel God is leading me to ask Saint Joseph to intervene for our Country.

PF, No it is NOT my blog, and I do not know the person who runs the blog. Just something I saw today on Spiritdaily.com It caught my interest because of Saint Padre Pio, and Saint Joseph, and my own spiritual feelings about America.

I can literally pray continually, excepting sleep of course.

    And I do.

Main aspects of my life, which I questioned and disliked before, are now understood: I'm to be secluded and praying. Praying, praying!

    St. Joseph, Hammer of Communists
In 1937, Pope Pius XI recognized the serious threat communism posed to the common good. In response, Pope Pius called upon St. Joseph to protect the Church from the many evils and errors of communism. Pope Pius wrote the following:

We place the vast campaign of the Church against world communism under the standard of St. Joseph, her might protector.[1]

Pope Pius wrote this in an encyclical titled Divini Redemptoris. The English title for which is On Atheistic Communism.

Pope Pius explains why communism is such a problem in this one line.
Why Is Communism Such a Threat to the Common Good?
Communism is inherently atheistic, because Marxism is inherently materialistic. Materialism tells us just the material world exists. That's it.

Marxism includes historical materialism, the reinterpretation of all history in terms of economic power. Not truth.

Nearly every pope for the last hundred years has warned us about S.C.A.M. -- Socialism, Communism, and Marxism -- and written extensively about it. Here is a selection of writings from Pope St. John Paul II on S.C.A.M.
Pope St. John Paul II knew all too well the horrors of Communism. He served in communist forced labor camps while a seminarian in Poland.
In his encyclical Laborem Exercens, John Paul II stated: “the Church considers it her task always to call attention to the dignity and rights of those who work, to condemn situations in which that dignity and those rights are violated, and to help to guide [social] changes so as to ensure authentic progress by man and society.”

So, on May 1, 1955, the next Pope Pius -- Pius XII -- dedicated May 1 to St. Joseph the Worker.
Pope Pius XII & The Feast St. Joseph the Worker
On May 1, 1955, Venerable Pope Pius XII declared May 1 to be the liturgical feast of St. Joseph the Worker. He wrote the following:

We are happy to announce to you our determination to institute -- as in fact we do institute -- the liturgical feast of St. Joseph the Worker, assigning it as the first day of May. Are you pleased with this our gift, beloved workers? We are certain that you are, because the humblest workman of Nazareth not only personifies before God and the Church the dignity of the man who works with his hands, but is always the provident guardian of you and your families.[2]

St. Joseph is rightly invoked to defend families against the evils of communism here. Soviet Communism besieged and attacked the family, not just the Church and the dignity of the worker. The Soviets even assigned each family members a different day off to both attack the Sabbath and family time.
St. Joseph, Hammer of Communism & Terror of Demons
Whether he is confronting Socialism, Communism, Marxism (S.C.A.M.), or any other kind of political or economic ideology, St. Joseph is the protector of human dignity. He is the Hammer of Communism and the Terror of Demons!

Here is the Opening Prayer for the Memorial of St. Joseph the Worker:

God our Father, creator and ruler of the universe, in every age you call man to develop and use his gifts for the good of others. With St. Joseph as our example and guide, help us to do the work you have asked and come to the rewards you have promised.
Want to protect yourself and your family from the evils of Socialism, Communism, and Marxism? Consider consecrating yourself and your family to Jesus through St. Joseph! https://www.thescottsmithblog.com/ I think we already have some communism in America, and I Pray to Saint Joseph TERROR of demons protect us, and our families, and our countrymen from the horrible scourge of communism!

    A 16th-Century Prophecy
    1. Isidore of Isolanis a pious Dominican of the 16th century, prophesied that “the sound of victory” will be heard in the Church Militant “when the faithful recognize the sanctity of St. Joseph.” He continues: “The Lord will let His light shine, He will lift the veil, and great men will search out the interior gifts of God that are hidden in St. Joseph; they will find in him priceless treasure, the like of which they have never found in other saints of the Old Testament. We are inclined to believe that toward the end of time God will overwhelm St. Joseph with glorious honors. If in the past ages, during the storms of persecution, these honors could not be shown to St. Joseph, we must conclude that they have been reserved for later times. At some future time the feast of St. Joseph will be celebrated as one of the greatest feasts. The Vicar of Christ, inspired by the Holy Spirit, will order this feast to be celebrated in the Universal Church.
    2. "In Genesis Joseph (son of Isaiah) interprets the dream of Pharaoh. Joseph says that seven years of prosperity will be had, followed by seven years of intense famine. Pharaoh, on hearing these words, makes Joseph lord of his household. "And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake" (Gen. 39:5). The story follows that during the time of worldwide famine and hardship, the world learned that to be saved they must "Go to Joseph" (Ite ad Joseph).
    3. New Testament Joseph does not store up the bread which will pass, but the true Bread of Life. Going back to that prophecy, it is very clear that the Church and the world are in a devastating spiritual famine. It is in these times that, I believe, God has ordained that the world once again "Go to Joseph." And we are seeing signs of this. Devotion to St. Joseph seems to be spreading like wildfire. hardship, the world learned that to be saved they must "Go to Joseph" (Ite ad Joseph).
    4. And we are seeing signs of this. Devotion to St. Joseph seems to be spreading like wildfire. Why? I don't believe it's simply because Pope Francis (I will hold my tongue on him here) has declared this to be the Year of St. Joseph. Nor that Fr. Calloway has written a very insightful book on St. Joseph. Rather, I believe God has specifically planned for this to happen. What shall we do? Go to Joseph, of course. http://www.bravestthing.com/2021/03/a-16th-century-prophecy-about-st-joseph.html
The primary feast of St. Joseph is March 19th. It is believed that his death occurred on that day. The feast was fixed in the 15th century and was extended to the whole Church by Pope Gregory XV in 1621. On December 8th 1870, Pope Pius IX ordered that the feast be celebrated throughout the Church as a double of the first class. Holy Church also dedicates to St. Joseph the entire month of March. In addition, pious custom dedicated Wednesday of each week to the HONOR of St. Joseph.

    St. Joseph, an Undervalued Saint

    Venerable Mary of Agreda
The following are words of Our Lady to Ven. Mary of Agreda reported in her famous book Mystical City of God:

My daughter, although you have described my spouse, Saint Joseph, as the most noble among the Princes and Saints of the heavenly Jerusalem, still you cannot properly manifest his eminent sanctity, nor can any mortal know it fully before he arrives at the vision of the Divinity. Then all will be filled with wonder and praise as the Lord will make them capable of understanding this truth.

St. Joseph as royal, in the Jesuit Church in Quito, Ecuador
On the last day, when all men shall be judged, the damned will bitterly bewail their sins, which prevented them from appreciating this powerful means of salvation and availing themselves, as they easily could have, of this intercessor to gain the friendship of the Just Judge.

The whole human race has much undervalued the privileges and prerogatives conceded to my blessed spouse and they do not realize what his intercession with God is able to do. I assure you, my dear child, that he is a greatly favored personage in the divine presence and has immense power to stay the arms of the divine vengeance.

I desire that you be very thankful to Divine Goodness for vouchsafing you so much light and knowledge regarding this mystery, and also for the favor which I am making you by revealing this. From now on, during the rest of your mortal life, see that you advance in devotion and in hearty love for my spouse, and that you thank the Lord for having thus favored him with such high privileges and for having given me such great joy in the knowledge of all his excellences.

In all your necessities you must avail yourself of his intercession. You should encourage many to venerate him and see that your own religious daughters distinguish themselves in their devotion to him. Whatever my spouse asks of the Lord in Heaven is granted upon the earth, and on his intercession depend many and extraordinary favors for men, if they do not make themselves unworthy of receiving them.

All these privileges were to be a reward for the amiable perfection of this wonderful Saint and for his great virtues; for the divine clemency is favorably drawn forth by them and looks upon Saint Joseph with generous liberality, ready to shower down its marvelous mercies upon all those who avail themselves of his intercession.

    St. Teresa of Avila's Plea
“Would that I could persuade all men to be devoted to this glorious Saint [St. Joseph], for I know by long experience what blessings he can obtain for us from God. I have never known anyone who was truly devoted to him and honored him by particular services who did not advance greatly in virtue: for he helps in a special way those souls who commend themselves to him. It is now very many years since I began asking him for something on his feast, and I have always received it. If the petition was in any way amiss, he rectified it for my greater good . . .

" I ask for the love of God that he who does not believe me will make the trial for himself—then he will find out by experience the great good that results from commending oneself to this glorious Patriarch and in being devoted to him.”

Was Saint Joseph Sanctified in his mothers womb? St. John the Baptist was sanctified in the womb of his mother. This idea has been affirmed by many saints as well. If God, as I firmly believe, so sanctified all the patriarchs because the Messiah was to be born from them, and sanctified all the prophets to foretell mysteries concerning the Messiah, and sanctified Jeremiah in the womb, and filled John the Baptist with the Holy Spirit to be the herald of the Messiah, and above all sanctified the Blessed Virgin to be the mother of Christ, why would he not also sanctify Joseph, the father of Christ? — St. Lawrence of Brindisi

  15. Mary Crowder

    Mary Crowder Archangels

If Jeremiah had the privilege of being sanctified before birth, if St. John the Baptist received the same grace in preparation for his service as precursor of the Messiah, are we not to believe that the one who served as the father of the Savior, and husband of the Queen of virgins, was treated with equal love and mercy?— Blessed Bartolo Long------- If St. Lawrence of Brindisi, and Blessed Bartolo Longo, and many others affirm that God did give extraordinary gifts of holiness to certain saints immediately after they were conceived because of the mission that God had entrusted to them. Since this is the case, not only would St. Joseph have been on the list of saints who were sanctified in the womb, but he would have been the “most sanctified” of them all!!! His mission of love was far greater than those of any of the Old Testament prophets, and even greater than the mission of St. John the Baptist.
