It’s amazing to think that if we all make it to heaven, it will be all of our homeland and it will be perfect! Who would ever chance not getting there? I can’t even imagine.
Just throwing some caution out there about the Internet. There have been pockets of disruption in various parts of the U.S. This week, and also in my area the southern part of the country. I'm wondering if we are on the verge of losing the Internet for awhile or some major disruption going on. Nothing confirmed, just making aware.
If we all lose the Internet... We are still united in Christ and in prayer. Now, if we all lose access to the Sacraments, it would be difficult... stay strong in prayer. I once heard a Priest who went to a village after the fall of the Soviet Union. They had been deprived of the Sacraments for over 60 years, no priests remained. They had not lost hope that one day they would again be free to worship in public. The older generation had told the youth to wait for the "real" Christian Church to come back. How would they know if it was the real church? The Priests would be devoted to Mary, and celibate. No matter what comes, if you live a life of prayer, we are still connected on the deepest level with the entire Body of Christ.
I was just reading the texts of Fr Michilini and came across a passage that says just this! I will post below, but if we lose all else, the Holy Spirit will unite us. That is undoubtedly what we are being prepared for.
Closing down Churches is diabolical.. But then again our Holy Father is busy closing down Churches too...
Nothing would surprise me. If we lose it, remember to pray for one another…eventually, this might happen.
Well, it can’t hurt to have extra supplies if a person has room for storage. But since it is hurricane season here, I try to have something stored up anyway. We have a small generator to keep the fridges going. Back in March, I ordered a valet chair(to be assembled upon arrival) for my son’s birthday in mid-April. It was to arrive from Asia, I think. I keep getting emails alerting me to the fact that they can’t give me a firm date to ship to my home. I have never experienced such a delay. It may be sitting on one of those container ships. I’m just an observer.

It is really worth listening to I plan to pray a lot today. I'm calm right now and if something happens soon I won't be surprised by it, we all have spoken about these things for quite some time. In addition, I always think about what Padraig reminds us what the saints who do in times of upheaval like this and that is go on as usual, in so many words.+ *** On another note, I have been watching Rob Carson's show every weekend for awhile now. It is on Newsmax and it is 30 minutes long with commercials, so I DVR it and it takes about 15 minutes to watch every weekend. Rob Carson is very good imho, he always includes little news segments that I would never have come across otherwise. This past weekend he included a short segment on disinformation and misinformation that appeared to be the "new" talking points for the talking heads this past week. Of course, we all know who is putting out the disinformation and misinformation. Maybe it wasn't as common in the past but I found that even around the year 2000, there were incidences like this which surprised me some, it was a ship more near Indonesia, that part of the world, so somewhat different circumstances. Afghanis were on that ship then and that was before any US Military action there.
