There is a lady lives near me whom I often pay great attention to when I meet her in the street. Why? Well because I suspect she is more than a little of a saint, even though I do not know her name or anything about her. Why so? Because she has that huge , huge quality that I have discovered in all the saints I have met in my life. When I speak to her I find I am the entire center of her universe. I am totally important and listened too. She raises me up with her loving, listening heart. Like Moses , her face too shines in its own sweet way. This is purest love, to gift ourselves to others in this manner.
I know it is very difficult to live through what is going on in the Church, but I am on some level actually very at peace. You can see the foundations of the future Church being laid down at the same time as the current corrupt edifice is crumbling. The new vibrancy of young traditional families filling the Latin Masses gives such a sense of hope for the future. This is not at all what I expected to happen. I thought the Church would just become more and more corrupt and the faithful would become more and more isolated, but it seems the opposite. Vibrant communities of the faithful are popping up all over. Even more astounding is the lack of assent by the bishops to the Pope's Moto Proprio severely limiting the TLM. Many of them seem to be ignoring it almost entirely by citing canon law.
This is fabulous garabandal, thank you for posting it. I recommend that everyone reading this thread listen to this video in its entirety. Mr. Birch does discuss whether or not we are in the end times along with other things (very sincere and honest - I loved it). My answer was going to be the Biblical answer that he offered which is yes, we have been since Our Lord's resurrection. But it is interesting to discuss various Catholic prophecies and wonder if we are close to "The Last Things" but I also know that God controls the timing and only He knows the timing. I have often wondered if certain prophecies that I believe in are just for that purpose, to not allow man to control the timing. I have a question for you and anyone else here. If you had the chance to speak to Desmond Birch would you have any questions for him and if so, what would they be? One thing that I was truly curious about was what Mr Birch stated about apostasy and I liked the fact that Father Heilman stated that what is occurring now is often a stealth apostasy, of course, that seems to contradict itself and I know that Father Heilman did not state it exactly how I have. I also thought of the recent sermon which Cardinal Burke made and member Byron posted on one of the threads on MOG and I re-posted it. Cardinal Burke stated that what we are witnessing is apostasy whereas it appears that Desmond Birch would call those things heretical. I find this to be a bit confusing still but I have often referred to what is occurring now as a Minor Apostasy and at the end as Mr. Birch has stated there will be a Great Apostasy. I forget if he talks about a minor apostasy in his book TTT. I was also thinking of the news articles that I found that Mr. Birch wrote many years ago and he stated that he believed that Our Lady of Garabandal was from Heaven. I have to look for them on my computer but I know that I posted about this on MOG in the past also. I would like to hear his thoughts on Our Lady of Garabandal now considering all that is going on with China, Russia, BLM and Big Tech. I wonder if he still believes in Our Lady of Garabandal and if he thinks that the major prophecies spoken of by Our Lady there are going to occur soon. Unfortunately, I have not witnessed a renewal of the Faith here on LI, NY as Mr. Birch and Sean (hello to you, btw) have mentioned, I wish that I have. In fact, I think that those who are "practicing" the Faith still think that they can modify things of the Faith to suit themselves. I always think about what Conchita Gonzalez said a long time ago now and that is "we (humanity) have lost the sense of sin" and unfortunately, I still think that this is true for the majority. Again, this is a great talk. Thank you! + Edited to add: I also would like to ask Desmond Birch his thoughts on the Pachamama incidents at the Vatican at mass (statues of the pagan idol and bowls of dirt). That seems like apostasy to me even if no one in particular has openly denounced the Faith they allowed this to occur for all the world to witness and pagan idols are absolutely not part of our Faith. One last edit, I apologize: And I often think about that agreement that was made with the Chinese government in regard to the Church there, the details of which have never been made public. Which Catholic Church in China was practicing the Faith? I think that the answer is the one that Cardinal Zen was associated with, no? So, wouldn't an agreement with China that appears to support the other church in favor of the one that Cardinal Zen is associated with be an open denunciation of the Faith? I am not learned enough to have a full grasp on these things, so I would love to hear these men discuss them.
Desmond gets a bit hung up on the "end times" being "the end of time". No, we are not facing the end of time, what we are facing is the culmination of the end times which leads to the triumph and era of peace. But we will go through the minor tribulation now (already in it, in fact) which many will come to think is the end of time. But it's not...but it's not going to be "minor" by any stretch of the imagination either, just minor vs. the major tribulation which comes just before the end of the world Is a distinction with a very important difference. Daniel O'Connor just sent out an excellent article which speaks to a lot of this and lays out where we are. He also very wisely points out how people get hung up on the antichrist who is either coming soon or is already on the scene, vs THE antichrist who comes just before the end. Someone is going to come on the scene over the next few months/years who will offer us "the solution" to recover from the economic collapse they foist upon us, do not take his solution, whatever you do, don't take it: https://dsdoconnor.com/2021/07/28/the-infrastructure-of-the-antichrist-redux-2021/
I beg to differ. I scanned his most recent writings and I believe he is, and he is a proponent of Divine Will, which is part of it, I believe.
You only "scanned" but are willing to publicly label him as something he's not? Wait, is it because he is a proponent of the Divine Will that you jumped on it? Good grief that's a real hot button, eh?
