I am going to Knock tomorrow. I will be praying to our Lady of Knock, Queen of Ireland for all the needs of everyone on the forum and for the forum itself. Your intentions will be placed at the feet of our Lady.
Wonderful garabandal! God's blessings on you! I remember Knock being a place of such peace and beauty
Thank you!.we had a piece of the gable stone at our holy hour tonight.great to touch it.what a special gift our great mother left for us a tiny island with such a small population.
Hi Garabandal, I was at Knock recently. It is a much changed place, and none good. Hopefully you won’t meet the young girl who manages crowd control into the shrine. The doors are wide open and she insists on putting chat on waiting pilgrims at the top of her voice, “Where are you from etc.” It’s impossible to have any level of quietness or peace in the shrine with her talking and joking outside. She obviously doesn’t realise she is on holy ground. Only for I was alone, I would have had a chat with her. Someone needs to, for her sake.
At Mass this morning from Dublin, they celebrated Our Lady of Knock. It said it was on 17th August, I always thought it was 21st.
Will be gone early afternoon. I'm with my two brothers in law we arrived this morning so I'm driving and they have a farm to get home to, animals to feed etc. Thanks for thinking of me God bless.
I hope you all have a great day there, I sometime go to mid week 7.30 mass in Knock. Its a special place. Maybe another time a few MOGerrs can meet up there.
Our Lady of Knock, Queen of Ireland, you gave hope to your people in a time of distress, and comforted them in sorrow. You have inspired countless pilgrims to pray with confidence to your divine Son, remembering His promise, "Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find." Help me to remember that we are all pilgrims on the road to heaven. Fill me with love and concern for my brothers and sisters in Christ, especially those who live with me. Comfort me when I am sick, lonely or depressed. Teach me how to take part ever more reverently in the Holy Mass. Give me a greater love of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Pray for me now, and at the hour of my death. Amen.
The population is small in Ireland because the natives have to go abroad to find a way to make a living. Nowadays of course the EU pay them to take refugees, so Ireland is filling up with people of colour while the indigenous people are still obliged to emigrate to get a life. Funny old world.
All intentions for those on the forum placed at the feet of our Lady of Knock, Queen of Ireland. But covid regulations at Knock over the top. Security and social distancing queues, it's like a new world order religious site. Sorry to say it takes away from the mystery of the place.
