Daniel O’Connor: New Prophecy from Father Michel Rodrigue

I read some of the summary of his message and I see it's more of the same "horrible things are coming, but don't worry, you'll probably be protected." It seems to me there is a similar line running through the false prophecies, where in all the talk of impending doom and gloom something very important is missing: personal conversion from our present sins and praying for the salvation of others. As Christians, we are called to be a light to others up to the very end...not flee to our safe shelters and avoid all the suffering the rest of sinful humanity deserves. Wouldn't the devil want to impress us with all the havoc and power he supposedly has, scare us silly, then soothe us into not caring what happens to everyone else as long as Mary's going to triumph for us while we hide in our refuges till it's over?

Pet Prophet. Is there such an expression? I had only heard of Pet Cemetery!

Or scare us silly, only to gravely tempt us with NWO satan's evil solutions, lulling us blindly into his wrong submission/direction?

Blessed Immaculate Heart, pray, guide & protect us. Sacred Heart guide us, have mercy!!

I believe these messages from Fr Rodriguez to be false.

But I don't agree with some of your arguments here.

Horrible things are here and terrible days are coming. Have you not read the Akita messages - they are frightening? The living are going to envy the dead.

So there will be people who will have been protected and survive.

Abraham gathered his men and fled from Sodom. God gave him advanced warning. So to flee to safe places is Biblical and the right thing to do if God inspires us to do so.

There is a time of justice coming, it has indeed begun.

Funny, I was thinking something similar about these new accounts.
    Good point, FP.

Your tone, my friend, is not very Christian. Perhaps you might want to reflect on the use of sarcasm on this Christian forum. Particularly when directed towards a lady and a long-standing member of this community.
Could you be a bit more respectful please.

When I see new members weighing in, I assume they may have been lurking for a while and only jumped in when they felt strongly about something. Lurkers don’t need an account so if one does decide to contribute they would need to register first.

I’ve been burned in the past by being credulous about prophecy. In the end, we have few guarantees until the predicted event happens (or doesn’t).

Some prophecy is worth heeding. Fatima, Akita and, for example, the Norwegian lady in the 1960s who saw the migrant crisis. But in all these cases we can use hindsight.

I’m not convinced about Fr Michel but for other reasons I’m sure St Joseph will be increasingly important.

Part of the issue here, as I see it, is that Countdown to the Kingdom website has a timeline for events that are supposed to be taking place in the near future. Not everyone agrees with this timeline. Please correct me if I am wrong. You are right, Clare, hindsight is 20-20.

Well said. I too have learned to be cautious. I think of a line from an old Bob Dylan song "you don't need a weatherman to tell which way the wind's blowin'." We can look all around us and see events moving at astonishing speed toward some dreadful or glorious denouement. If Our Lady comes soon then its glorious. Otherwise rough weather ahead. I don't like the cultural "temperature" toward Christians however. Read comments to local news articles on the vax-non-vax and you will see some very ugly comments. It doesn't take a Fr Michel to tell us scapegoating lies ahead. I keep a careful eye open to his words recent or otherwise. Just not sure at all about him. I read them and I was glad to know what he had to say but taking it all with a grain of salt. As I said above it doesn't take a "prophet"to tell us which way the wind is blowing.

I’m on the side line waiting to see what happens. So far what was predicted is happening. It doesn’t matter to me one way or the other if Fr Rodrigue is false. Much of what he says, I feel is true. Especially on the portals to hell. I’ve always felt hell is here on earth. His silly humor doesn’t bother me either. He may be a false prophet, but that doesn’t change my belief of Fatima, Akita, or Garabandal.

I don't deny bad times are here and coming. What I'm saying is false seers tend to focus very heavily on the gloom and doom without a strong call to repentance and saving the souls of others. In approved apparitions, Mary's main message is not "Bad things are coming; buckle up".. It's "If you don't repent and change your ways, bad things are coming." And she begs us to help her save souls and lighten or avert the punishments with our prayers and sacrifices.

You mention the Akita messages... If you'll notice, they are conditional, based on whether the world repents. When we become caught up in the false messages of "Awful stuff is upon us, so protect yourselves" we can be tempted to think there's nothing we can do to stop it. That can lead to despair, depression, or worse: an unhealthy desire to see others punished, as if we are the good ones worth saving, and all those sinners out there deserve destruction. We are distracted by the excitement and guesswork of when these things will come to pass, instead of focusing on doing everything we can to atone for our and others' sins. (I'm not saying anyone here is doing this, but that the devil is tempting people to these things).

That is why the devil sends so much false prophecy, I believe. And it does matter whether seers are false or true. Because the devil is speaking through the falsehoods to influence good Catholics. Prudence and very careful, prayerful discernment is required, or one may unwittingly open themselves up to the demonic.

Oh brother… here we go again… we have been through the good father’s “prophecies” quite thoroughly before and the lack of discernment of CTTK in posting inaccurate statements.

Does my opinion count more since I’ve been here for a while? ;):D

I read his message and either way it matters very little to me but I do think that regardless of what one thinks of it there is some validity to the fact that the overthrow of the father represented by Joseph in the hierarchy of the family and his reliance upon Christ which in turn he teaches his family is and has become very prevalent in our societies. It also happens to be a central pillar of the beliefs of the freemasons and their secret mystery religion which like it or not is the religion of the leaders of many of our nations.
In the original post there is a link that is a lengthy but good read.

    https://dsdoconnor.com/2021/07/28/the-infrastructure-of-the-antichrist-redux-2021/

“The candidate of the 33rd degree receives this instruction… “Neither law nor the property nor the religion may rule over men, and, since they are annihilating men by depriving men of their most precious rights, we have sworn to do terrible vengeance. They (law, property and religion) are enemies against whom we have sworn implacable war at any price. From these three infamous enemies the religion must be the permanent object of our deadly assaults. When we have destroyed the religion, we shall have the law and the property at our disposal and we can regenerate the society by means of building the Masonic religion and the Masonic law and the Masonic property on top of the corpses of those murderers”

You have made a lot of sense here. I admit that God's concept of SOON is not my concept of soon. He has been merciful and has taken His time. You are right in reminding us that events are conditional.
St Joseph is the patron of a happy death, and he is the patron of the Universal Church. And he has been brought to the forefront in this year which Pope Francis dedicated to him. But I do think that he has always been in the background for a reason. I think he was in the background when he was within the Holy Family. I suspect that was his nature. That's my opinion, though. Maybe not worth a cup of coffee. Somehow, I don't consider him the Restrainer.
I read an article in Spirit Daily about all of the research that has been going on for years, since at least 2015, in a university in North Carolina, with the covid virus. Of course, ungodly use of fetal tissue takes place, I think....and weird Frankenstein clones between human tissue and mice. I knew that the University of Pittsburgh was doing stuff like this, but I see it is in NC as well. So for sure, this has been common knowledge...a worker in a lab contracted covid about five years ago. In the Book of Ecclesiastes we read that "there is nothing new under the sun." It upsets me greatly to think of the magnitude of these offenses against God, Creator of the Universe. All of it is rotten fruit. I agree with Padraig that this covid pandemic will go away if people prayed and did penance.

Yes. And that article indicates that this synthetic lab manufactured virus (Sars/covid)used the cells of a baby (embryo). As Michael Brown says, abortion has come back to bite us in more ways than one.
