I am in preventative mode right now. For the past 2 weeks, all I have been doing is Vitamin d3 2000 in the morning and again in the evening, as well as 1500 mg of Vitamin C also in the morning and in the evening. I was also doing 50 mg of Zinc in the morning but stopped that. I just don't handle Zinc that well for some reason. If I have been around sick people or in crowds, I may had a teaspoon of colloidal silver in the morning to my coffee or water. This time of year is sick season in my part of the world and normally I have constant sinus issues, drainage and head pressure, but I have zero of that right now and feel great and as clear as I would in the summer. I was listening to a doctor a few weeks ago talk about how important higher doses of Vitamin C are to our bodies as well as adding Vitamin D when we don't see much sunlight. She also mentioned that the true pandemic in the world is how deficient we are in Vitamin C, D and the real huge deficiency is Magnesium. I have yet to add magnesium to my daily routine but still looking into the best way to do this. I don't want to rely on supplements. Another great thing to practice daily is Selenium and this is easy to do without adding a new supplement. It only takes 2 brazil nuts a day to get the selenium we need. One final note of getting natural vitamins and minerals versus taking supplements. An apple a day can truly keep the doctor away. The pectin in the apples are amazing for our bodies and immunity support.
Apples contain quercetin which is very good, too. Does soaking in an Epsom salt bath allow magnesium to enter the body through the skin? Also look up magnesium oil. Same thing. I don’t tolerate magnesium well, though. Good job, Andy.
WebMd says its theory about soaking in through Epson Salt bath, but it is WebMd. All they ever seem to tell me is that every symptom you have could be cancer lol. Definitely yes on the quercetin in apples. I seem to have problems taking quercetin in supplement form so apples way easier on my stomach.
Thanks for flagging. I have my “regimen” similar to Andy. But I’m taking 8000 units of Vit D daily - have been for past 2 years! So far no problems but maybe will get levels checked. I also take Zinc, Magnesium, Vitamin C, all the B complex vits, various minerals ( including quercetin, NAS, lots of “greens”and probiotic. My wife laughs at my routine but I believe it helps. Maybe it’s placebo. but will stick with it. The other big thing is try and eliminate it at least reduce sugar intake. Not just added sugar but look at your food labels- try abs avoid processed stuff- it’s often filled with sugar and salt. And walk. Walk and pray ok will step off my soapbox . Stay well
Another thing I learned recently but don't know if true, is when you are sick, you should not eat eggs until better. Viruses and bacteria actually feed off of the eggs in our bodies and get stronger. Will have to dig a bit more, but that was very fascinating to me.
If anyone does (I don't), especially if you know his town or city, keep in mind that Rick is most likely a nickname for Richard. Search with Richard + last name too.
Is the flying nun’s real name Ricky? I’ve been wondering how he is doing. Please God He is ok. Prayers
