I saw this video on youtube posted by an Englishman who says he learned the method from a nurse in Italy. Lots of comments from people saying it worked for them (one used it on his three year old child). He cuts a small piece off a bar of soap, mixes it with sugar, puts the mixture over the splinter and covers it with tape. I suppose that the soap and sugar mixture works like a poultice to draw out the splinter. Not sure how you would manage to fix the tape to the foot of a tiny baby, but you would know better whether you could do it:

Great idea, or maybe Telegram or Signal, they're more private.

If he will sit still for it use warm salty water soaks. It draws the splinter out but but has to be at least 10 minutes. Keep doing it intermittently. It prevents infection and its soothing and it does--usually--make it easier to get them out.

Rory I hope it is just a cold but treat it like a covid. Rapid tests can give false negatives. Positives are more accurate so the MD tells me. Lots of hot drinks and those wonderful supplements. Keep us posted. Prayers!

Thank you. I don’t usually ask for prayers for myself (not that I don’t need them )lol but I can’t shake this and I don’t want to infect my daughter and family. Today the two 7 and 9 year olds were here and when my husband and I said the Rosary we called them for the last decade and the Chaplet. I told them they had to dress Mary very well. One was really concentrating with his eyes closed. It was for family and those sick with covid— your intentions etc. I stayed away from the kids mostly.
so it’s online mass for us .
There is so much omicron around here because of that college vaccinated outbreak.
Does anyone know if omicron is really serious in the unvaccinated as the news always says.
In the vaccinated here it is mild but I don’t know of anyone unvaccinated who got it yet in this area. Well this was a rant.
One rapid test said no to omicron .

Husband and I are unvaccinated. We were pretty sick for first two days, like in bed with bad flu. We are taking horse paste and zinc which really moved us along. They never told us what variant
    Praying for you
    You are handling it

Rory, I’ve heard you most likely will not get the new variant if you’ve had any Covid variant already. Even if you’re not vaxed and you get it, it’s basically like a cold. No big deal and you’ll be done with Covid after you recover. I’m not a bit worried about it because the experts said if everyone gets it , it’s mild and you’re done. Good in my book(n)

I don’t think I’ve ever had Covid. My daughter tells me not to sweat it as it’s mild. I hope so. We are taking all the supplements but I have type 2 diabetes and hubby has copd.

Will keep you and hubby in my prayers, we were sick with the latest covid, bad a few days , then just tired for awhile. I'm unshot, but most of the rest had the shots, no difference in our reactions. Hope you and your family and all the of us and our families have a blessed Christmas! God bless us every one!

RR will keep you in my prayers. My Covid right now has been mild. The first day was like a bad flu, but the third day is much better. I’m not worried. Make sure to drink plenty of fluids.
