Muzhik answered about the status, I just wanted to share something related to this subject. Luisa is not the only mystic who talks about DW - though she must be the one whose works have the most explicit content about this spiritual call & gift for our times - but I see many seers actually say that union with God is of the utmost importance and the way forward. I was listening to a talk by a protestant pastor recently who was saying it was important to repent and empty ourselves of our ego and ask the Lord to purify us from our own wills so that He can place His Will in us because we have reached a point in salvation history where Jesus wants to give Himself to us in a whole new way. The pastor's prayer was "not my will Lord, but Yours..." and he kept stressing the importance of repentance, purification through the Cross for us all in order to become vessels of the Lord Himself - a gift never before given to men. And this man is a protestant! It sounds like the Lord is talking to this pastor about preparing for the gift of the DW and he is inviting all kinds of people to prepare whose hearts are turned to Him. But we in the Church have the chance to have priests and others who can teach and guide on Luisa's extensive writings, and that is a blessing not to be missed that we can then share with others when the time comes.
This morning very early I was doing my final hospital Ward run. It was very busy and I had a huge pile of notes in my arms struggling along. Into the Lift stepped a young Chinese Doctor in surgical scrubs with a stethescope around his neck. He looked at me so kindly and concerned and asked me if I needed a hand? This really touched me. He probably had a thousand things to do yet was willing to take time out to help a complete stranger. It left a warm feeling in my heart all morning. One random act of kindness can do so much good. Though perhaps it is because of my age a little. I was at the Vets with the dog a week or two when a woman offered me her chair. I was surprised and touched. I must try and do more random acts of kindness myself. Especially while driving. The Park beside me opened up again after being closed since before Christmas because of Bird Flu. Filled with happy smiling people. Another Sign. The sky outside is an almost cloudless blue, though very cold and beautiful. Thank you Byron, I’ve not paid attention to “ why” these colors were traditional. Yes, another ornament that they are stripping from the origins and the true meaning of Christmas…. referred to it instead of Christmas, as “ “winter fest”….how I loath that. Christians everywhere need to display the nativity outside their homes because governments will not allow these displays at some point. Eventually, if things keep going the way they are, the nativity will be labeled “discriminatory “ by the godless elements in our current society. They are going to further defamed nativities as they are currently, and eventually they will not even be sold at some point. Satan is having his way now, but his day will hopefully be over soon! Keep Christ in Christmas signs need to be everywhere next year. I’ll be getting mine. If we go down, it should be at least fighting.
We have a lit nativity set up (and will until Candlemas!) in our front yard, close to the street. Happily, there are a few other yards in our neighborhood that have them as well! A child from a non-Christian family a few houses down was studying ours and asked our son, "Who are they?" The little Muslim kids across the street recently shouted happily "Mary! Jesus!" pointing to our set.

Since Christians are now becoming a repressed minority, perhaps we can join the rest of the repressed minorities and lodge our complaints about the appropriation of our culture. One has to admire the Muslims-they just simply do not, from the get-go, tolerate anyone messing with their fundamental beliefs.

I have a black cat and was very surprised once when a very devout religious and (normally) trustworthy woman I know told my mother that we should get rid of our black cat because she would attract evil spirits and possibly hurt my son I really have no time for superstition.
I had a black cat when I was younger. I took him everywhere with me and loved how in the winter he matched my black peacoat so I didn't have to worry about his fur haha.
A friend of mine, who is very much pro-vax, spoke today about omicron being milder - and, "thus should signal the beginning of the end of this carry-on." I hope he's right. I would love to be laughed at as a nutter.. if it meant this 'carry-on' would end. I can actually see why he would think like this. Omicron is much milder. But the constant din of the MSM never stops. And I get the feeling that they haven't pushed this far to stop now. Something tells me that he's wrong, unfortunately. We'll know soon enough.
Listening to Today FM news this evening, you'd think we were all doomed (in truth, we are but probably not immediately-listening to some of these experts and journalists, you'd suspect we had been immortal creatures prior to the emergence of COVID). We've had a huge surge in cases for several weeks, now. Cases in hospitals have increased modestly, but that can be attributed to being a reflection of the incidence in the general population. The key indicator seems to be the ICU rate, which seems to have actually fallen. Anecdotally, more seem to have or have had Omicron than haven't in our circle and this excludes those who are unaware of having it. There should be cautious celebration, but all we get from the media is continuous fearmongering. There may or may not be a conspiracy behind all this, but their disconnect with what seems to most an obvious reality certainly makes one suspicious. As the old, but wise, joke went, "just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you"!
