I do not know where to post this so I am posting here. Our Parish priest is dying and pretty well in a coma now. I am going to be praying by his bedside tonight from 7 to 8:30 and will ask him to bring all the requests from the forum to Jesus. No need to post them as I will include you all.He cannot respond but may still be able to hear. I am so Blessed to be able to be there with my friends —-his brother and wife. Please pray for him as well. He is 85 but was in great health until a few months ago.

Rex Murphy questions why no MP's have called out Trudeau on his gross misuse of authority, but is it possible that they might be letting him gather plenty of rope with which to figuratively hang himself? That letter from the Jewish scientists surely cannot but damage him? It is probably not the only such communication condemning his actions. I've given out about our own government's actions throughout the epidemic, but in the last few weeks they have very quickly removed almost all restrictions and masks are going next week except in a very few specific medical situations. This seems to be the pattern in most European countries. Some are moving at different rates than others because their situations are not quite the same, but the principle seems to be one of a surprisingly quick return to normalcy. What on earth has happened to Canada, which, as pointed out by the Jewish scientists, was one of the most free countries in the world until very recently?
