One could suspect that Biden might have encouraged Trudeau as an experiment to see how far a political leader might be able to go with this carry-on. If it all backfires on Trudeau, Biden can just distance himself, with little blame attaching to himself. If it succeeds for Trudeau, the US better watch out.
Trudeau's understanding of truth resembles that of the Communist Party of China. As the rest of us know, China has doubled down on coal and fossil fuel usage, but Trudeau seemingly is very taken by their ability to get results simply by telling people what to do and making sure they do it. He is clearly a Communist in all but name.

Yes, it looks that way. I have two Canadian friends, both of whom loath JT….very good Catholics. My knowledge of him was formed from their experiences, otherwise I really did not know anything about him. It’s as though he holds “ commie” views, yet cloaks himself so as to shield his true self from who he really is politically. This crisis brought out the real JT. Not having the confidence himself to initially use the emergency governmental powers to squelch the truckers, he was emboldened by Biden to do what he really wanted to do. It was beyond governmental over reach leaning into totalitarianism . He had no national emergency to justify his actions. In doing so, he demonstrated to the world who he really is as if his past comments and praise for communist China were not enough. If I’m correct, he has cited his praise for Fidel Castro, who is rumored to actually be his biological father. If true, he gets his political leanings honestly. It’s rather scary to think that the leader to our north holds these views especially as we look to be moving into a more hostile relationship with communist regimes. It’s sad to think that JT has the backing of so many Canadians because of his extreme liberal views overall….but would and do they support his recent “coming out”? I wonder if even they are ok with it even if many of them were against the truckers? Even Biden’s support among liberals is eroding in the US and a lot of it is due in part to his bending the knee to the extreme leftist demands here in America. Biden has three more years to do more damage to our democracy…I pray we can hold off until we can get his kind out. Three years is a long time left in office when the opposition party is sitting on their hands basically letting him get away with just about anything. You can count on you hand the number of Republicans who are actively trying to save our democracy. Looks like troubled times ahead for the world at large.
I've seen it said that many who claim to be 'conservative' are merely liberals in a lower gear. This seems to be the way things are. Take the Bush family, for example-for all George W.'s pro-life credentials, they seem to be a very liberalistic, elitist family. Donald Trump seems to be the only genuinely non-liberal politician in the upper-level US political system, which explains the extreme intolerance of him on the part of the ruling classes and their media lackies.
What undermines all these aspirant utopias, ensuring they quickly degenerate into dystopias, is that Man is only the kind of 'god' you might get in a 'lucky bag', if anyone remembers those. He's so far from being a 'god', no matter how he wishes it, that it is inevitable that his progressive, better-than-anyone-before-him-ever, plans will rapidly fall asunder into horrors. Unfortunately, like Stalin's attempt to make farming better by killing all the people who knew anything about it, the human cost is unthinkable.
Exactly! Bush had the conservative support that made the difference in his razor close elections. It was later revealed that his wife and mother were both proabortion. In recent years, his own liberal daughter was a speaker for a planned parenthood fundraiser. Many Republicans share their same views but they know they cannot get elected without the support of the grassroots prolife activists. . They use prolife groups routinely. I was skeptical of Trump in the primaries because of his previous long held pro choice liberal views but he held true to his word to support prolife causes after his election. Trump turned out to be one of our strongest prolife presidents rivaling president Reagan. The Bush/ Cheney style Republicans are still trying to undermine trump.They are as dangerous as the Democrats. They are globalist. President Bush the senior was the first president that openly used the term New World Order in a positive light…now I understand why…he’s a globalist like the democrats.
It's exactly the same sin as Lucifer's, pride. The idea that we can do better than God under our own speed. I also think this is why people who are rich in the goods of this World embrace Collectivism, because of Pride. Whereas the poorer people who tend to be more humble, like the Truckers, ordinary working people like the Holy Family, tend to reject it. They are that much tied up into making their daily bread that they don't get tied up in these self important dreams of changing the world in their own image. Hollywood is a good example of this kind of proudful , I'm going to change the world people. Any collectivist wagon that comes along you may be sure they'll jump on with both feet. Woke culture, Black Lives Matter, Feminism, Lock Downs, Mandatory Jabs, Critical Race Theory, Abortion, Gay politics, Transgender...whatever wagon comes along they'll be there panting to get on board... Which Is why I loved Ricky Gervais for making fun of them all. Their faces were a picture.
