Our Lord's words to Sister Lucy: They will do it but it will be late. And like the King of France they will follow him to disaster. Reference to King Louis XIV refusing to consecrate France to the Sacred Heart (as requested by St Margaret Mary Aloqoque) Louis XVI did it right before he lost his throne and perished on the guillotine. Sobering words.
No reply indicates the chastisement is conditional to humanity's response at the time of the Warning. May the wonderful fact that the Fatima consecration is about to be done lead to a heartfelt response to the Warning and the curtailment of the chastisement! O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!
This morning I went with some faithful laypersons to our Church and knocked on the rectory door and asked to speak to our dear pastor . He was so gracious and let us come inside while he was making himself breakfast. We got to sit at his kitchen table and talk to him about how excited we were to hear about the Consecration to be done by Pope Francis and the most recent news about his inviting the bishops of the world. We asked our pastor if he could have our church join in with the Pope on March 25. He recommended to us to write a letter to our bishop , Bishop Barres, telling him that we as lay faithful would love to unite in prayer with our Holy Father (using the same prayer that Pope Francis will use). Our pastor thinks that perhaps Bishop Barres will send somebody to all the churches in our Dioceses. Wouldn’t that be awesome!? has anyone written to their Bishop yet? If so, can you share what you wrote. I am nervous that I won’t know how to properly express myself.
I have a feeling that the consecration will set off a chain of events that trigger the beginning of the secrets of Medjugorje, and the warning/miracle of Garabandal. Padre Pio said Russia would be converted quickly, and teach the West a lesson in conversion. He said the U.S. would take longer to convert. I'm wondering if Putin and Patriarch Kirill will convert to Catholicism and invite Pope Francis to Moscow to discuss the unity of the West and the East? Then when Pope Francis returns, the evil leaders of the West stir up big trouble, and Catholic Russia comes to the defense of Christianity... The evil globalist leaders have to come toppling down somehow.
This is what I sent to my Bishop: Dear Bishop Barres: I am a parishioner at St. James Church in Setauket. I am writing to you today regarding the wonderful news from the Vatican that our Holy Father, Pope Francis, will be consecrating Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on March 25th, the Feast of the Annunciation. Then today, I heard even more wonderful news that Pope Francis will be inviting all the bishops of the world to join in! God will be so pleased! As a lay faithful who deeply loves our Church and the whole world, I understand how important prayer is. I pray the daily Rosary, I have consecrated myself to Jesus through Mary, I pause at 3:00 for Divine Mercy, and I have completed my five First Saturdays and continue to observe this devotion. So, this miraculous news, in the midst of such a turbulent and dark spiritual time, has made a great impact on me and other faithful folks. I understand this is something not to be taken lightly. It is not just a prayer. It is a faithful turning of all our hearts to Jesus through our Blessed Mother, Mary. That is when miracles happen! I wanted to know if there is any way the lay faithful, along with their priests in our Diocese, could join you, Bishop Barres, the Pope and all the other bishops in prayer on March 25th. It would be wonderful if you can have material distributed to all the parishes on Long Island. This way, your Church faithful could participate in this solemn and holy event. Prayers could also be done on the fourth Sunday of Lent following the Annunciation. Bishop Barres, thank you for listening to my prayerful request and God Bless you always!
PF, I find Medjugore a bit overwhelming because of all of the messages. I am not a disbeliever just entirely overwhelmed. With that said, I noticed this new video. *** This is a clip from that almost 2 hour long video that I posted a few days ago from Pints with Aquinas. "This clip was taken from a recent livestream with Fr. Jason Charron on Cardinal Vigano's letter about the Russia/Ukraine conflict. Watch the full livestream here: https://youtu.be/EVGmJ7nhnY8 In this clip, Fr. Jason (a Ukrainian Catholic priest) shares about why the Russia/Ukraine conflict is really about religious freedom and how, if he were to start a Ukrainian Catholic Church in Russia today, he would be shut down!" *** Edited to add: I came across the above two videos when I was looking for this one. Brian's video that he recently posted about Father Gruner reminded of this one. *** This short video is interesting in respect to Putin mentioning the referendum that was signed on March 18, 2014 by the Crimean and the Sevastopolian leadership with Russia in relation to the Annexation of Crimea. Of course, I am not sure if this is related to the prophecies of Medjugore but I know that March 18th is significant and it seems that this current war could be related because of this date since Ukraine still recognizes Crimea to be part of their country and of course, Russia recognizes it to be part of theirs.
All of the kids in our Catholic Schools (90 schools) in our Archdiocese started praying on St Patrick's day a novena in anticipation of the consecration. The Archbishop ordered it... Here is the prayer they are saying... “O Blessed Mother, heart of love, heart of mercy, ever listening, caring, consoling, hear our prayer. As your children, we implore your intercession with Jesus your Son. Receive with understanding and compassion the petitions we place before you today, especially for an end to war in Ukraine and healing for the Ukranian people. We are comforted in knowing your Immaculate Heart is ever open to those who ask for your prayer. We entrust your gentle care and intercession, to those whom we love and who are sick or lonely or hurting. Help all of us, Holy Mother, to bear our burdens in this life until we may share eternal life and peace with God forever. Amen.
My thoughts too: “the chastisement is conditional to humanity's response at the time of the Warning.”
After Mass today a young woman approached a group of us and asked us if we were aware that our diocese was participating in the consecration. She said there was to be confessions at 4:00 rosary at 4:30 and then the consecration! I believe she meant it was to be held in our diocesan cathedral. We are very excited….and honestly, surprised.
Interesting to note just how prevalent the concerns regarding his questions five through eight really are across social media this week. Is it a majority position? Definitely not. Does it represent a sizable number of outspoken Catholics on social media? Not sizable, but big enough to beg these questions.
Come Holy Spirit, take charge of this consecration of Russia to your spouse, Mary, the Mother of God! How much the world needs this grace!
