Luke 8:50 On hearing this, Jesus answered him, “Do not be afraid; just have faith and she will be saved.” [ In this instance, Jesus' use of the verb, save, refers to her being raised from the dead.] When I first came across this thread, I thought of the above. These encouraging words were spoken to Jairus, upon hearing his daughter had died. No matter the circumstances for whomever we pray, we can ask for all things. But I always try to add, "Jesus, do what is best for their eternal salvation." The older I get, the more the above bold becomes my over-riding concern for others. Lord, grant Gin peace of heart concerning this surgery and speak your Peace to her heart that You will become her all in all! O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!
