Hello, I'm having difficulty growing food here, plants dying, seeds not sprouting, the weather being too wet or too dry, difficulty finding time do things, and lack of resources. Can you please pray that things take a turn for the better here?
Plant dandelions. Not only are the edible and medicinal, but they are robust, grow easily, and improve soil composition for growing other plants.

I keep a gardening diary, RW. I make notes on what types of seeds sprout and grow well and what do not work for our soil type. It may take you a couple of years to figure out what you should try to grow and what doesn't work for your soil and climate. I think that is great that you started a garden. I hope you enjoy it. I wish I had more free time to garden. In our experience, just a few zucchini plants yield a few bushels of zucchini.
Another suggestion is to build a nursery and a greenhouse. It gives you more control over environmental factors
you can also do a google search for crops\plants that do well in your region, also look out for utube videos
I saw on a DIY that someone used clear bubble umbrellas and inserted them down into quite large gardening pits to make mini greenhouses. I thought that was quite innovative
