    Lots of invincible ignorance..

The Jews behind it - and their coming ''king" is it? arriving in the Third Temple in Jerusalem - are guilty of the greater sin?

Tale of the Blackmailers of Pilate

The Jewish leaders insisted, “We have a law, and according to that law he must die, because he claimed to be the Son of God.”

When Pilate heard this, he was even more afraid,... Pilate said to Jesus. “Don’t you realize I have power either to free you or to crucify you?”

Jesus answered, “You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above. Therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin.”

12 From then on, Pilate tried to set Jesus free, but the Jewish leaders kept shouting,
“If you let this man go, you are no friend of Caesar. Anyone who claims to be a king opposes Caesar.”

13 When Pilate heard this, he brought Jesus out and sat down on the judge’s seat at a place known as the Stone Pavement
“Here is your king,” Pilate said to the Jews.
15 But they shouted, “Take him away! Take him away! Crucify him!

“Shall I crucify your king?” Pilate asked.
“We have no king but Caesar,” the chief priests answered.

Obviously they will be judged for this, especially Jews and Christians who support the Jewish temple, because they had knowledge to some extent of the true God, unlike the pagans:
    Luke 12:47-48
47 "The servant who knows what his master wants, but has got nothing ready and done nothing in accord with those wishes, will be given a great many strokes of the lash. 48. The one who did not know, but has acted in such a way that he deserves a beating, will be given fewer strokes. When someone is given a great deal, a great deal will be demanded of that person; when someone is entrusted with a great deal, of that person even more will be expected."

Change Jewish Temple to AntiChrist. . and What about other non-Jewish Gentiles?

Anyone, whether Jew or Gentile - who ultimately does not repent from their serious sins - shall be barred from God's Kingdom.

Luan, do you believe after Jesus' Return from the Sky - that a New Earth and New Jerusalem shall be established by God?

    Matthew 11:21-24
"21. 'Alas for you, Chorazin! Alas for you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 22. Still, I tell you that it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon on Judgement Day than for you. 23. And as for you, Capernaum, did you want to be raised as high as heaven? You shall be flung down to hell. For if the miracles done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have been standing yet. 24. Still, I tell you that it will be more bearable for Sodom on Judgement Day than for you.'"

Christ seems to point out that people who knew well his ministry, his miracles and his holy word will be judged more severely at the final judgment, not that this means that other groups will be saved by rejecting christ, as for the new Jerusalem at least I I think it represents the church triumphant on earth.
As to the meaning of the new Jerusalem I think it is the triumph of the church, new Pentecost.

Appreciate your honesty. It reminds of how some Jews view the End of Days.. aka No New Earth ... .
To you and them I say, WHEN this Earth has become something that a reasonable person knows is beyond liveabilty
    - then it's time to swiftly shift to Christianity's repeated Prophesy of the Pristine New Earth and the New Jerusalem of Revelations..

Shalom! In Jesus of Nazareth who shall return from the Sky!

I did not say that there will be no new heavens and new earth after all the whole earth will be destroyed in the final judgment but that new Jerusalem represents the church; the coming down from heaven in the figure of speech as a renewal of the Church does not mean that Christ himself will not return from heaven in the same way that he ascended 40 days after the resurrection.

We have a few slight diffs of opinion - such as the New Jerusalem Is the New Heaven... And the Temple of God aka The Church - dwells within God's Kingdom

I made it very clear here on the forum that I believe jesus is the new temple and that a jewish temple in israel would be a denial of his sacrifice; Christ also reigns in the tabernacles and in the fullness of the magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church, which was the only Church one that fully preserved every point of doctrine such as the prohibition of remarriage * (except in the case of widowhood) and contraception...

    Saint Augustine (354-430)

    City of God

    Translated by Marcus Dods

    Book XX

    Chapter 17

And I saw,” he says, “a great city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice from the throne, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, but neither shall there be any more pain: because the former things have passed away. And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.” This city is said to come down out of heaven, because the grace with which God formed it is of heaven. Wherefore He says to it by Isaiah, “I am the Lord that formed thee.” It is indeed descended from heaven from its commencement, since its citizens during the course of this world grow by the grace of God, which cometh down from above through the laver of regeneration in the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven. But by God’s final judgment, which shall be administered by His Son Jesus Christ, there shall by God’s grace be manifested a glory so pervading and so new, that no vestige of what is old shall remain; for even our bodies shall pass from their old corruption and mortality to new incorruption and immortality. For to refer this promise to the present time, in which the saints are reigning with their King a thousand years, seems to me excessively barefaced, when it is most distinctly said, “God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, but there shall be no more pain.” And who is so absurd, and blinded by contentious opinionativeness, as to be audacious enough to affirm that in the midst of the calamities of this mortal state, God’s people, or even one single saint, does live, or has ever lived, or shall ever live, without tears or pain,—the fact being that the holier a man is, and the fuller of holy desire, so much the more abundant is the tearfulness of his supplication? Are not these the utterances of a citizen of the heavenly Jerusalem: “My tears have been my meat day and night;” and “Every night shall I make my bed to swim; with my tears shall I water my couch;” and “My groaning is not hid from Thee;” and “My sorrow was renewed?” Or are not those God’s children who groan, being burdened, not that they wish to be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality may be swallowed up of life? Do not they even who have the first-fruits of the Spirit groan within themselves, waiting for the adoption, the redemption of their body? Was not the Apostle Paul himself a citizen of the heavenly Jerusalem, and was he not so all the more when he had heaviness and continual sorrow of heart for his Israelitish brethren? But when shall there be no more death in that city, except when it shall be said, “O death, where is thy contention? O death, where is thy sting? The sting of death is sin.” Obviously there shall be no sin when it can be said, “Where is.”—But as for the present it is not some poor weak citizen of this city, but this same Apostle John himself who says, “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” No doubt, though this book is called the Apocalypse, there are in it many obscure passages to exercise the mind of the reader, and there are few passages so plain as to assist us in the interpretation of the others, even though we take pains; and this difficulty is increased by the repetition of the same things, in forms so different, that the things referred to seem to be different, although in fact they are only differently stated. But in the words, “God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, but there shall be no more pain,” there is so manifest a reference to the future world and the immortality and eternity of the saints,—for only then and only there shall such a condition be realized,—that if we think this obscure, we need not expect to find anything plain in any part of Scripture.

Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,

What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, “I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

A third temple attempt where the mosque is today would bring violence against, not only the state of Israel, but everywhere else in the world. They would blow up Jerusalem before any such building would begin construction. I still believe it will never happen.

the Temple is Jesus yet the church (which is us) is his mystical body.
    ACTS 9:1-8
    1

    * Now Saul, still breathing murderous threats against the disciples of the Lord,a went to the high priest
    2
and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, that, if he should find any men or women who belonged to the Way,* he might bring them back to Jerusalem in chains.
    3
On his journey, as he was nearing Damascus, a light from the sky suddenly flashed around him.
    4
He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?”
    5
He said, “Who are you, sir?” The reply came, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.
    6
Now get up and go into the city and you will be told what you must do.”
    7
The men who were traveling with him stood speechless, for they heard the voice but could see no one.
    8
Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing;* so they led him by the hand and brought him to Damascus.
    John 15:5
    5

I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing.

    John 2:19-22
    19
Jesus answered, 'Destroy this Temple, and in three days I will raise it up.'

20 The Jews replied, 'It has taken forty-six years to build this Temple: are you going to raise it up again in three days?'

21 But he was speaking of the Temple that was his body,

22 and when Jesus rose from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believed the scripture and what he had said.

bryon do you think it possible that the Arabs would accept the temple next to the mosque on the temple mount if the creation of the Palestinian state takes place?

When you finally admit that it completely debunks
your constantly repeated 'opinion' that the Third Temple of AntiChrist in Jerusalem can be stopped by the King of Jordan and/or Arabs,
    I might..

I want all members here to read this and not have it stopped everytime I post it - by you. :)
