He is very welcome back to echo away. In this Diabolical Space. Give the Demons that reside here a bit of what for. Maybe exorcise them. In this Diabolical place.

I would mention that no one would be particularly happy about being called Diabolical or their Catholic website as being called Diabolical. I dare say most people would hit the roof and boot him for that.

I didn't. I never booted him or even suggested I would. Nor did anyone else.

    But, wait, that can't happen.

    Why not?

Because he himself decided to leave.

How can you be, 'accompanied', as Pope Francis suggests we should be as sinners, if the person who is supposed to, 'accompany', us takes of into the dusk at high speed, calling us 'Diabolical' , as he does so?

Stand your ground. State your case. Defend it. Don't simply throw gross slanders and walk away.

Maybe I’m a nutter, idk but the more I read this title etc I can’t help but wonder if “this is it”in part by what the Garabandal seers were referring to. The good Cardinal uses the word hostile and the seers said that hostilities would break out in various parts of Europe after the pope returned to the Vatican from Moscow and some think that his unprecedented visit to the Russian embassy at the end of February could be just that. Yes, I do believe it is a bit of a stretch but at sometimes we do miss the forest through the trees. The good Cardinal also states that if this goes through it will be the destruction of the Church, well I can’t think of things being any worse than that. I suppose all I’m saying is that it is better to be prepared than not. Personally, I can’t ever see the pope getting an invite to Moscow from Putin/Kirill but only God knows.

    Also…

I remember Jacinta saying that she sometimes gets invasion mixed up with persecution and I also remember Mari Loli being a bit surprised and saying, “Oh it’s going to be like that.” Then, of course, we have Serafin saying that it will be something like a schism.

In addition, Cardinal Mueller also mentions Marxist. http://www.1260.org/Mary/Apparitions_Garabandal/Garabandal_Apparitions_Communism_Mari-Loli_en.htm

I have thought this many times and believe it to be true. Pachamama was extremely crude.

How can any right minded Catholic ever believe this Pachamama represents our Lady?

It is an insult to her Immaculate purity.

These statues are uncivilised and pagan.

Our Lady is the mother of God and hence the mother of civilization.

Five blasphemies against the Blessed Virgin require reparation -

The offenses of those who directly outrage Her in her holy images.

That refers to those who destroy her images but also I believe to the outrage of the carved Pachamama statues, which misrepresent our Lady who is so pure and immaculate one could never portray her in this insulting manner.

Shame on the Pope and all who hold that this was our Lady of the Amazon.

The devil is sniggering up his sleeve at that lot in the Vatican.

Well said. I want to gag just thinking about it. I still maintain that dread day was a very obvious abomination of desolation in the Holy place. Everything has gone swiftly down ftom bad to outright horror ever since. I still remember Sister Agnes receiving the message from her angel warning to pray the Rosary and do penance. And Sister Agnes said she felt that the "time" had come.

I have said what I have said with free will and sincere heart recognising that one day I will be before the judgement seat of Christ to give account of my words.

God has asked me to defend his mother and that I will do to my dying breath.

We are facing as Our Lady as informed us Great Calamities.

A Third World War with the use of Nuclear Weapons.

We have just passed through a plague which started at the very moment Pope Francis and friends did their Pacahama, idol worshipping thing.

If it were not for the Providence of God we would face the entire extinction of the entire Human Race.

This is due in no small part to what Pope Francis and his fellow travellers in the Vatican are currently doing.
So we face the Greatest Chastisement in all of Human History...

..something to make Noah's Ark look like a blip on the screen.

Don't ask me to be mellow about all this.

I just don't feel like it.

I was prepared to give the Vatican a pass on the Pachamamma debacle. I suppose my line of thinking was - "look, the Church in this day and age is well established. The Church is confident enough to go to the ends of the earth to bring the Gospel to native peoples without the type of ideological and cultural imperialism of past generations. The Church can bring Christ and His mystical body to native civilizations by sanctifying their existing symbols and practises and transfiguring them through the power of the Holy Spirit. And when it is accomplished then God will accept their humble liturgies, symbols and prayers and they will bend the knee to Jesus Christ who is Lord, just as all in Heaven, on earth and beneath the earth will do."

However, after meditating further on it, I do think you are right. The Pachamamma idol is a contorted representation not fitting in any way for the Immaculate Conception. To my sensibilities it seems an irreverent and lewd symbol which does not bear associating with the Blessed Virgin Mary even for one nanosecond.

The reasoning part of me then says this in reply. "So when the Church brings the Gospel to tribes of the Amazon with a baptism of repentence, what is it to say to those peoples? 'Cover up and have some decency and respect when you come into the presence of God'. To which they might say - 'you try covering up in the humidity of the Amazon jungle'. I suppose the point is that their whole perception of reality is different to ours. So do we give them a pass on this or do we grind their symbols into dust as Moses did to the golden calf?"

I confess I am none too sure about the Will of God in all this but I will pray about it.

Jesus' words to the Apostles were very clear and their actions in Acts showed how they followed his commands. More than once it is stated that Christ told them "if anyone will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet when you leave that house or town as a testimony against them." So many of the letters highlighted the sinful actions and needed corrections of those in towns they preached in. Many towns would not hear them and continue in their sinful ways. This is the Catholic faith. It is open to all, but only those willing to humble submit to the truths of the faith and trust in Christ became truly part of it. The Word must be accepted as a condition. The church is here to assist souls in reaching salvation, not some friendship club or to create false mercy accepting people without correction.

No where in the bible did Christ ask the apostles to go and accept those that don't listen to them. Or go build a "fraternity" with everyone and don't even mention Jesus to them. Or don't tell them they must stop sinning into order to be saved, just accept everyone no matter what. Jesus didn't say go to the sinful towns and sinful people and get their input on how to build My church.

If the church reaches out to or gets approached by any sinner or group of sinners it has a moral obligation to correct them. This false mercy we see taking over the church from the top down NEVER asks anyone to stop sinning, ever. Yes, mercy always but only with correction, this is paramount to Christ's church. What must Christ be planning for shepherds that not only refuse to correct sinners but even cheerfully promote their sinfulness as a good thing?

God have mercy on us all.

To any PF cheerleaders, please find and highlight all the times PF has asked people to stop sinning. I'd be happy with one example.

I don't think anyone is suggesting or has ever suggested boxer shorts, vests and cover up for the Natives since round about the 19th century.

    Even back then....

I am a little lost as to what anything has to do with Idol Worship in the Vatican.
If we're heading right into a Nuclear War and Nuclear Winter I'm going to point the finger directly at one of the main causes of what is about to happen.

..and that is Pope Francis and his fellow Apostate/ Heretics in the Vatican and elsewhere.

One last, final squeak of indignation before we go into the darkness together.

The best video I have watched in years. Truly astonishing.

Very enlightening on how to cope spiritually during this pontificate. 5star

I suppose Padraig, what you are calling an Idol I have drawn back from doing so and have called a 'symbol' or icon. And what exactly is it a symbol of, you may ask, and why were they bowing down to it?

I am no expert, just crawling along trying to find answers to the questions which arise in me. Let's say for arguments sake it is the native people's symbol or icon of the 'Mother of the earth'. As I have said, I find it offensive to imagine this icon as one depicting the Queen of Heaven and earth. However, in the native people's eyes it may the symbol which has been most easily co-opted to be just that. Nakedness or semi-nakedness to them does not engender, I imagine, the same feelings in them as it does in me. Their world view is shaped by the conditions of their existence in the jungle.

I too was shocked to see Franciscan priests bowing down to this icon in the Vatican gardens and I confess I was delighted to see those icons thrown in the Tiber. But on reflection I question if this is a failure of Charity in me.

I am still a 'babe in Christ', having been a sinner and agnostic for many a year. By the grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ I have been called back into the light. So I have much to learn and discern. In these terrible times of 'diabolical disorientation', I am trying to stay on the path to salvation. As St. Paul says, 'even if I deliver my body to be burnt and have not Love, then I have nothing.'

As it says in the CCC,

The whole concern of doctrine and its teaching must be directed to the love that never ends. Whether something is proposed for belief, for hope or for action, the love of our Lord must always be made accessible, so that anyone can see that all the works of perfect Christian virtue spring from love and have no other objective than to arrive at love.

I do admire you Padraig and others on the forum. I am slightly in awe of your Faith, your certainty, your spirituality, your knowledge. I too am enormously concerned about what is going on in the Church and the prophetic consensus of impending events. But I am very afraid of 'resisting' our Holy Father 'to his face'. Our Holy Father may not be present at our Particular Judgement, however, I would be very uncomfortable to face Jesus having called the Pope evil. I have a filial concern for you and others on the forum in this regard. I know, I know ..., these are terrible times and I for one am at my wits end with all of this.

I wonder about the passages in Matthew 5, I think it is. 'Judge not lest ye be judged.' 'As you measure out to others, so it will be measured out to you'.

O Lord, may your word be a lamp for my feet and a light for my path.

O Lord, my heart is not proud
    nor haughty my eyes.
I have not gone after things too great
    nor marvels beyond me.
Truly I have set my soul
    in silence and peace.
Like a weaned child on its mother’s lap,
    even so is my soul.
O Israel, hope in the Lord
both now and forever (Psalm 131).

Hi InVeritatem. Most people don't realize what the Pachamama actually is to the Andean people. The Pachamama "goddess" is a "fertility goddess" who is asked for material benefits at the price of animal or human sacrifice. All pagan cultures had a "fertility goddess." The temple of the "fertility goddess" was the place where a culture struggling to feed itself would snuff out the lives of unwanted mouths to feed. It was an "infanticide mill" before the surgical techniques needed for an "abortion mill" were understood.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pachamama

    From this last link:

The four cosmological Quechua principles – Water, Earth, Sun, and Moon – claim Pachamama as their prime origin. Priests sacrifice offerings of llamas, cuy(guinea pigs), children (The Capacocha Ritual) and elaborate, miniature, burned garments to her.

I think the Amazonian Synod had nothing at all to do with the Amazon or its peoples. It was just an empty shell game to promote other, bigger agenda's. As to Pachamama I don't think if was about the actual idol it was simply the doorway to something much bigger, Globalism and One World Religion. I am sure not one of them could care less about that piece of wood. It was only a means to an end. They are very, very cynical the whole lot of them.

Thank God you found the Faith. It is huge and never ending source of Peace and Joy.

We face incredibly tough times ahead. But with the Faith everything, even the worst becomes joyful.

Pray, pray, pray. Prayer is the food of Faith; without it Faith will wither and die, as will your soul.

It was Our Lady herself that told me this, 'Prayer is the Bread of the Soul, pray the Rosary!'

You are most welcome to the forum.

    The aim is conversion.

The world view of the 'native' needs to be conformed to the mind of Christ. They need to be taught about the virtue of modesty that is missing in their culture.

It is not euro-centric to teach that semi nudity is contrary to civilized dress. Our Lady is a wonderful example that the women of these regions need to follow and she should be their role model not Pachamama.

The Pope and others in the hierarchy are consumed by the idea of the 'noble savage' but fail to see the historical reality that the native pagan religions have demonic influences and incantations.

Yes, you can hold on to anything in their culture that is virtuous and Christianize it but not Pachamama or semi naked imitations of our Lady. That is an insult to her Immaculate Purity.

What we are witnessing is diabolical disorientation.
