As a Foreigner I enjoyed watching the Mid Terms. The framers of the Constitution showed genius in the Great Experiment . Wonderful to see the checks and balances Constitutionally enshrined in action. A huge celebration of Democracy. I am only guessing as an outsider but I think Americans are so Partisan now, so Balkanised that their politics have kind of set like solid concrete, one side against the other and it would be hard to change things. Set in stone ,so to speak. I also suspect that Democrats hate and fear Trump so much that his appearance once again energised them into fleeing to the Polls in Droves. It might have been better if he had kept quiet. Also the Big Bribe for Free Tuition effected things. I expect the calls for Secession to grow ever louder in this huge stalemate. Loved watching Kari Lake. Such a performer. Such an interesting lively lady. I hope she wins. I was praying for a certain American Prominent politician just a few hours ago and the Lord was reminding me that the Devil takes a special interest in tempting the Powerful . For of course if he can have them he can really, really influence things. This is why St Paul reminds us how important it is to pray for our Leaders. Anyway go Kari, go, go go! Great fun.
GOP at 206 now, within touching distance of a clear majority/final victory in this election. 51 seats to go, and just 12 are needed. Imo, America's future, legally at least, looks quite good, though I understand why some might feel discouraged. Morally, of course, Pro-Life Conversions are also needed, alongside Pro-Life Legislation. Changing Hearts + Changing Laws = Final Abolition of Abortion. As long as God gives us time, let us pray and work for changing hearts on abortion. Our Lady has revealed a Pro-Life Rosary of the Unborn (with endorsements here: https://www.rosaryoftheunborn.eu/endorsement.htm) and Promised to Change Hearts on Abortion for every Hail Mary we pray on it. I am feeling very sad today as well. I am in Minnesota, where we re-elected our Democrat Governor, and not only that, but now our House and Senate will both be controlled by the democrats. The Governor is planning to mandate COVID vaccines for all children, no exceptions, and also wants to make teachers sign a statement saying they agree with extreme left positions or they can’t get a teaching license. So bad.
That's soft Stalinism. The attitude of the American Left towards children is difficult to get one's head around. Abortion, infanticide, mutilation and the administration of a vaccine for a declining disease which can only offer, even under normal circumstances, more risk than any potential benefits. It makes one wonder what is really in these vaccines due to their determination to administer them-they've become a non-issue here in Ireland. Indeed, COVID has almost faded away as a subject even of conversation here.

I am absolutely disgusted with the elections. There SHOULD have been a red wave. I’m concerned I am losing my faith due to my quickly disappearing charity. I think next time I hear about crime in New York or in other liberal cities or states complain about gas and food prices prices to say - well you voted for it - deal with it and shut up - you deserve it. My only comforting thought is the faster everything goes down the sooner we see Jesus. My fear is that before He gets here I will have fallen off the boat
I think that the Republicans would have done much better if the abortion issue hadn't come up in June's miraculous ruling overturning Roe V Wade. People who are pro death were so lulled into thinking abortion was a forever right for them that I believe they were ready to let Republicans fix the economy. But now that abortion laws per each state was on the table, all the paranoid people came out to vote for their right to kill. Still so grateful it was overturned in June though....thousands of children have been saved since then.....

I read that voters under age 30 overwhelmingly voted democrat. I think the left’s indoctrination in schools and colleges, as well as in the media and entertainment industry, has paid off, and these young people are thoroughly brainwashed into leftism. I fear there is no going back now.
Yes some are asking that question. I honestly don't know. To be honest Mr. Trump is wearing a little thin these days IMO. I appreciate his role in overturning Roe v Wade and the other good things he did but I wish he would be more circumspect in his pronouncements.
