Fr Matthias is an amazing shepherd. I used to belong to his parish before moving. This was from 2 years ago but unfortunately it didn’t get spread around enough this year. Michigan went completely Democrat (anti Christian) in this most recent election even in the proposals. The nearby Detroit bishop is calling for almsgiving, Prayers and fasting to begin Advent.

Fr Matthias is preaching pure Catholic Teaching. This is wonderful. But surprising. Why is it surprising? So few do this now, which is so,so sad. Why do they not do so? Because in doing so they would invite opposition from the enemies of the Truth from both within and without the Church. But it is a Great Miracle of our times that God is raising up these young priests, who like St John the Baptist, go out into the Wilderness and Preach the Coming of the Lord.

Ellen, That’s a difficult question to answer. Imho the most important thing is the availability of the Church and the sacraments and if we get close to loosing those that would be the worst or if we were close to the realization of a false church. I have also wondered if She was referring to the loss of a lot of lives due to war and many people will possibly not be in a state of grace . I also think that God would not allow man to destroy the earth, so if we were on the verge of nuclear Armageddon that could be the worst. I think that you will get many answers to this question.
So... I’ve been thinking about this quote for a long time before the election! Specially when all this Red Wave business started to gather momentum ... as glad as I was about that possibility taking place and therefore would make our lives much, much better... I did want what ever the BM promised to come to be would happen sooner rather then later. Well ... I thought that is NOT gonna happen if things are better and NOT worse!! Soo ... maybe I really want things to get worse not better !! And.. it looks like things will in fact actually get worse after all!! So cheer up folks... the BEST is about to come!!
I hope y’all can understand my past post. because I trying to compose my thoughts from my hospital bed. I fell and had a hip fracture( thank you Parkinson’s)and had a partial hip replacement. So I’m trying to think and texted while under the influence of mega strong pain killers. My kids are also going thru their own private Hell because their Dad is very bad at his hospice care!! We are all waiting for THE phone call!! Am I offering it all up for souls??? Well as Sarah Palin always used to say.. “YOU BETCHA!!!”
I have prayed for him. I will keep praying for him. I am so sorry that your hip was fractured. I will pray for your recovery. Put some holy water on it every day. Get someone to bring you some. God is with you and God bless your family.
