Little Getsemani

I'm in hospital and in a very dark place spiritually. Could you please pray for me. I keep praying to Jesus but cant find him.

Thank you for letting us know, Sanctus. May Our Lady's Mantle be placed over you. Often it is her Maternal love which Jesus uses to draw us to Himself.

Oh dear Sanctus, our sweet Jesus is with you and our Heavenly Mother is by his side. On my Rosary tonight. May the peace of Christ give you reassurance.

I am experiencing strong temptation from the evil one also. I don't know what to do. I am in a dark place and nothing makes sense.

 

Why are you in hospital, Sanctus?

Being in hospital can be spiritually challenging. But there are also very many kind people there devoted to your care. I spent some time in hospital over 2 years ago. I pray that God sends you someone to lift your spirits.

I think that you are lacking knowledge of your Agency. You are not a powerless victim Sanctus. You do have Agency. Step out of the boat onto the choppy waters and go towards Jesus to take His outstretched hand. Take Mary's hand to help you.

Pray the Prayer of Adjuration:

I completely and utterly reject, with the full force of my will N. (Name the fear, temptation, disorder or demon rejected) I do this in the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary and in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. (3 times)

Even if you don't feel any effects or improvement, pray this anyway. It will confirm you in your Faith, in your Agency, in the power of your will, in the power of the eternal now, in the Power of the Holy Spirit. Be pleased to accept everything from the hand of God. Persevere Sanctus, and accept the gift of your Agency from God Most High. You will trample down lions and snakes, fierce lions and poisonous snakes (Psalm 91). Praying for you. And relax too.
