I agree. If there's one thing God taught me in a powerful way this Lent, it is this - we must forgive.
Yes as God is omnipotent and such a huge merciful heart, we must become small and have a merciful heart of forgiveness.
Many, many prayers and Masses for our poor Holy Father. He is our Spiritual Father, it is our duty to pray and our hearts tell us to love. If there is anything to forgive let it be totally forgiven. Let there be only love and prayer for him. He who is Christ's Vicar on Earth. Who knows perhaps this moment is one where the Holy Spirit may speak to him in a very special way? To him and to us all.
I look at the whole situation from the life of St Paul... Can you imagine being a persecuted Christian and receiving a letter from a guy who used to be call Saul Who are we to know or ask God's ways and plans...He is in control
Update: Pope Francis rested well, continuing treatment in hospital, Vatican says Pope Francis in St. Peter’s Square on March 8, 2023. | Daniel Ibáñez/CNA By Hannah Brockhaus Rome, Italy, Mar 30, 2023 / 04:47 am Pope Francis will continue to receive treatment after being hospitalized for a respiratory infection on Wednesday, a Vatican spokesman said Thursday. “His Holiness Pope Francis rested well overnight. The clinical picture is progressively improving and he is continuing his planned treatment,” Holy See Press Office Director Matteo Bruni said in a brief statement issued just after 12:30 p.m. local time on March 30. “This morning after having breakfast, [Pope Francis] read some newspapers and resumed work,” Bruni added. “Before lunch, he went to the chapel of his private apartment, where he spent time in prayer and received the Eucharist.” On March 29 the Vatican announced that Pope Francis was expected to remain in a Rome hospital for a few days due to a respiratory infection. It had been announced earlier in the day that he was in the hospital for previously scheduled medical checkups. As of Thursday morning, the pope’s agenda lists no appointments for the day for March 30. He is still scheduled to preside over a Mass in St. Peter’s Square on April 2 for Palm Sunday and to give the usual Sunday Angelus address. “In recent days Pope Francis has complained of some difficulty breathing and this afternoon went to [Gemelli Hospital] to carry out some medical tests. The results of these tests showed a respiratory infection (a COVID-19 infection was excluded) that will require some days of opportune medical treatment in the hospital,” Holy See Press Office Director Matteo Bruni said Wednesday evening. “Pope Francis is touched by the many messages he received and expresses his gratitude for the closeness and prayer,” Bruni added. Bruni had issued a brief statement earlier in the afternoon of March 29 to say the pope was at Gemelli Hospital “for some previously scheduled checkups.” Gemelli is the same hospital where Pope Francis was hospitalized in July 2021 when he underwent surgery on his colon for diverticulitis, or inflammation of the intestinal wall. In an interview with the Associated Press in January, Pope Francis disclosed that the diverticulitis had “returned.” At the time, the 86-year-old pontiff — who traveled to South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo in late January — insisted he was in relatively good condition. The pope has also suffered since last year from a problem with his right knee, making it necessary for him to rely on a cane and a wheelchair to move around. But Francis told the AP that a fracture had healed without surgery after laser and magnet therapy. I hear the sentiment but ultimately that is all it is, sentiment. He is the Pope. Not an overzealous misguided Jew. Sometimes analogies obscure the reality
A lot of blame. He influenced many to take an experimental jab that he knew nothing about. I said it at the time that he will be responsible before God for endorsing a gene therapy jab that was not tested on humans before. And now we know the truth. A massive spike in deaths after the jabs. There are people injured and dead because they listened to him and were influenced by him.
I’m praying for him. I have prayed and sacrificed for him every day for the last decade. That said, he has much for which to answer. Well beyond endorsing immoral jabs. History may judge him to have been an antipope and/ or one who fomented schism. Still - or even more so - we must pray he converts and dies in the state of Grace and is saved.
Here's just one article on Pope Francis calling the vaccine a 'moral obligation'. We can split hairs about when the pope is speaking ex cathedra or whatever, but most of us have learned that the pope is infallible when speaking about faith and morals. So here he was clearly saying we have a duty to take the poison death shot. In addition he claims expertise when he says people are swayed by "baseless information". This death shot will likely one day be known as the greatest of crimes against humanity. The period of time when all were getting vaxxed was scary and maddening for me as I tried to convince as many as I could not to take it. I confess that I have a hard time praying for him but I'm encouraged by all of you to try harder. Associated Press Pope Francis labels getting vaccinated a ‘moral obligation’ Published: Jan. 11, 2022 at 5:55 p.m. ET By Associated Press ROME (AP) — Pope Francis suggested Monday that getting vaccinated against the coronavirus was a “moral obligation” and denounced how people had been swayed by “baseless information” to refuse one of the most effective measures to save lives during the pandemic. Francis used some of his strongest words yet calling for people to get vaccinated in a speech to ambassadors accredited to the Holy See, an annual event in which he sets out the Vatican’s foreign-policy goals for the year. Francis, 85, has generally shied away from speaking about vaccination as a “moral obligation,” though his COVID-19 advisers have referred to it as a “moral responsibility.” Rather, Francis has termed vaccination “an act of love” and said refusing to get inoculated was “suicidal.” From the archives (October 2021): Pope Francis expresses bewilderment over vaccine holdouts, including in the College of Cardinals On Monday he went a step further, saying that individuals had a responsibility to care for themselves, “and this translates into respect for the health of those around us. Healthcare is a moral obligation,” he asserted.
Actually brother you missed my analogy my post is not sentiment but my faith and what I believe in. I wasn't referring to what a person does in this life but on how Jesus taught us. To put it as simple as I can. Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who tresspass against us. Or to quote another example of my reasoning..St Therese herself could be called a mad woman for praying for the conversion of Pranzini
I agree. When Our Lady of Fatima talked about the annihilation of nations, was she referring to the number of people who will die of this novel virus gene therapy treatment? There is solid ground to think 40% to 60% or more of those who received it will die within five years, many sooner. If 70% of 330 million Americans took it and 50% of them die within five years, does 115 million dead from this pope’s “moral obligation” represent the annihilation of nations? That’s not to mention the rocketing number of miscarriages and infertility. This isn’t a rhetorical question. This is a very real possibility.
At the end of the day he is our Spiritual Father. Pretty well the entire Old Testament screams at us the importance of reverence for such fatherhood. I am very happy to give it. I did notice down the years of his Papacy the Catholics I reverenced the most on goings on the Church always, always showed the highest respect for the Office of Pope, . I must adit I did not do it too often my I would let this all go now and just pray for him. He is the Pope. Our Spiritual Father. I know, as we all know lots and lots about him. But he is our Father. My own spiritual inclination at this time is just to pray for him. The thought of a poor Pope being sent to hell is not a pleasant one. I am praying for our poor, poor, Holy Father,.
ALL of us are guilty of sin. NONE of us will make it to heaven, except by God's mercy. The Pope is hurting. The only Christian responce is to pray for him.
It does seem likely given the already large increases in excess death and disability, not to mention the very significant drop in birth rates since the jab started. Didn't the prophecies of Akita include a statement about one of the chastisements coming from man himself? This seems to fit the bill. Fr. Blount says we're in the middle of the chastisements now which also lends credence to this possibility.
I do pray for him, just not with feeling. There is great hope with the Garabandal prophecies. Isn't it interesting that the Blessed Mother said that whoever is present for the miracle will be healed? The events of the last few years make me think it's directly related to this great evil.
The chastisement coming from man is below and not part of Akita prophecy: Blessed Anna Maria Taigi [+1837] wrote of the coming chastisement, saying: "God will ordain two punishments: One, in the form of wars, revolutions and other evils, will originate on earth; the other will be sent from Heaven. There shall come over all the earth an intense darkness lasting three days and three nights [Joel 2: 31] 12 . . . the air will be laden with pestilence, which will claim principally but not exclusively the enemies of religion . . ."
One may pray for him, while also pointing out why he so desperately needs our prayers and sacrifices. It’s not wrong to do both. It’s not pointing out a “speck” when one is guilty of promoting the greatest genocide against mankind in human history by falsely calling a grossly immorally developed new gene therapy a “moral requirement.”
