For the American public to elect a person who obviously has advanced dementia would indicate massive stupidity. It would broadcast the end of the Republic because its citizens would be senseless. The only alternative explanation would be that the system is rigged and we are like cattle ripe for the slaughter. I still wonder in major decisions, "Where does the buck stop? Not with Biden, but with whom? I'm glad my flag-honoring parents did not live to see this day.
Actually, I have written my Congressional and Senatorial office holders and in very polite, but clear terms, asked them how a sadly incompetent person like Joe Biden can be allowed to remain in office? I asked them to let me know with whom the buck stops? I requested them not to speak of the competency of President Biden's staff, but to let me know who is in charge. It will be interesting to hear their take. My Representative is Claudia Tenney and my Senator is Chuck Schumer.

As is my local Congresswoman. If you compare the election maps of New York and Texas, they look very similar: cities controlled by Democrats and the rural areas by Republicans. However, in Texas there's a whole lot more rural area.
Believe it or not our situation is similar. Southern Maine is sarcastically referred to as " northern Massachusetts" because it always votes progressive democratic. Always. And they have the denser population. The rest of Maine is solidly conservative. ( although you wouldn't know it looking at our representatives) Sigh.
