This is what I did fear would be the response from some in US Congress . As Biden is not really running things IMO, I truly am concerned that whoever is in charge, may listen to these voices. Maybe there have been other moments in recent history that have been chaotic but as I look at the world seeing this escalation, the continued fighting in Gaza and Ukraine, and the internal standoff in Texas, it feels as if we are on te brink. One miscalculation in any of these places could literally be disastrous.

It sounds logical, we will justify the death of 3 soldiers by entering a new war where thousands of people could lose their lives, increase inflation, unemployment, terrorist attacks, insecurity while we members of congress and our children will enjoy safe neighborhoods with guards, vacation on private islands and to be thousands of miles away from war...

As far as I'm concerned, all those who advocate war in foreign countries are traitors, if they care so much about war, they should take up arms and set an example to others and take their children with them.

I was just watching the movie Hawsage Ridge. Desmond Doss, according to many before the war, a coward who made a promise to God not to touch a weapon and because of that he was ready to spend the entire war in prison because he did not want to break his promise to God even during military training where handling weapons was mandatory. God rescued him from prison and sent him to bloody battles for the Japanese islands where he served as a medic. He saved 75 people (at least), including the Japanese, on the reef. While others were killing, he said he was going to save lives. His prayer was, God help me to save one more, and after each one he saved, he said the same sentence. He also saved those people who brought him before the military court.

He was awarded the highest honors a soldier could receive and he did it all without firing a shot where it was impossible in the middle of the war.
While those who should call for peace call for war.

There is no doubt that God will raise up "his people" in this time, just as he has done in all times. However, it is difficult to see how bloodthirsty some people are for selfish reasons, greed and desire for power.
They need some false flag, to start some chaos. It will happen either in the USA or in the Middle East.

    The west at war

    By Roberto de Mattei

Allah Akbar! — “Allah is great!” This cry has resounded all over the world through the videos that documented the violence of Islamic militants against women, children and young people of all nationalities, massacred or kidnapped on 7 October 2023, while an avalanche of rockets beat down on Israel. The same invocation — Allah Akbar! — rang out again in the days that followed in the Arab squares and on pro-Islamic western social media, to celebrate the aggression of Hamas against Israel. It matters little that this has taken place on Israeli rather than on European territory. What counts is that a new war has been declared.

The attack came at the dawn of a symbolic day for the west, the anniversary of the victory at Lepanto on 7 October 1571, just as the attack on the Twin Towers coincided with the anniversary of the liberation of Vienna from the Turks, which came about between 11 and 12 September 1683. Two emblematic events, which for Islam must be avenged through Jihad, or “holy war”, the doctrine that obliges every Muslim to bring the world under sharia, the religious and political law of Allah.

Islam is not a monolithic religion, but all of its branches agree on the need to fight against the corrupt west. In this struggle, Islam does not distinguish between Christians and Jews. 23 February 1998 saw the release of the Declaration of the World Islamic Front for Jihad against the Jews and the Crusaders, inspired and signed by Osama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri. The first objective of the Islamic Front, as of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), is the reconquest of Jerusalem, the city from which the prophet Muhammad is said to have ascended in a chariot of fire, and where the Al-Aqsa Mosque stands, built on the ruins of the Temple. The second objective is the conquest of Rome, called the Kizil-Elma — “Red Apple” — in analogy with the golden globe that surmounted the statue of the emperor Constantine in the Byzantine capital. After Constantinople, Rome became the “Red Apple,” that is, the final destination of the triumph of Islam over Christianity.

Islam’s strategy of expansion foresees the migratory invasion of Europe and the destruction of the State of Israel. In the days of the attack on Israel, the “Alliance of Mosques” was born in Paris, the new association of Muslims all over Europe, inspired by the wing of the Muslim Brotherhood, which theorises the “soft jihad”, the “gentle” Islamisation of Europe. The Hamas attack of 7 October is instead a dramatic expression of the “hard jihad”, which involves terrorism and war. Behind the former strategic approach is Turkey, which controls the migratory flow into Europe and, for years, has aspired to become part of the European Union in order to dismantle it. Behind the latter approach is Iran, through its agents, Hamas and Hezbollah, which are pressing their siege to the south and north of the State of Israel.

On 5 October, a report was presented at Luiss University in Rome, produced by the Med-Or Foundation, on the topic, “Silent Enemy: The presence and evolution of the jihadist threat in the wider Mediterranean”. The report describes in detail the development of the jihadist phenomenon, operating in many areas of the wider Mediterranean, with particular attention on Africa, the main incubation area of this phenomenon. The Ukrainian conflict has monopolised international attention, but jihadism, the report warns, is part of a far-reaching operation to destabilise the west, in a geopolitical context in which Islam is not the only agent.

On 5 October, Vladimir Putin spoke at the twentieth assembly of the Valdai Discussion Club, a Russian think tank. In his keynote speech on “Fair multipolarity”, Putin spoke of the existence of an “ongoing war of civilisations” and appealed to the ties that Russia maintains with the Arab world, China and India to combat the hegemonic role of the west. Moreover, the Russian-Ukrainian conflict has revealed the existence of an internal front within Europe and the United States, which looks with favour upon Putin and criticises the western support for Ukraine. The idea of “enemies of the west” seems to be evaporating from the awareness of part of European public opinion. This attitude of benevolence towards the aggressors is one of the psychological factors that explain the debacle of the Israeli intelligence system, considered the most efficient in the world, but which proved incapable of foreseeing the attack of 7 October, due in part to having deluded itself about the possibility of dialogue between Israel and Hamas.

Meanwhile a third war-front is about to be opened in Taiwan, which China is preparing to invade. It will not be easy for the United States to simultaneously support its allies on multiple battlefields, in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and the Far East. This is taking place a year from the American elections in which the stage has been set for a struggle between two candidates, Joe Biden and Donald Trump, worn out and crippled for various reasons. Meanwhile, in the European elections, the victory of a “third party” is looming, along the lines of the new Slovakian president Robert Fico and the possible French president Marine Le Pen, both determined to widen the gap between Europe and the United States. It is on the weakness of the west that its enemies are counting, especially after the shameful abandonment of Afghanistan in 2021, which marked a severe moral defeat for the United States and Europe. This weakness, before being political, is moral, having its root in the west’s loss of identity.

One tragically eloquent symptom of this waywardness is offered to us by the situation in which the Catholic Church finds itself today. In the meditation given on 1 October to the participants in the general assembly of the Synod of Bishops, Fr Timothy Radcliffe, former master general of the Dominicans, began by stating:

“When the Holy Father asked me to give this retreat, I felt enormously honoured but nervous. I am deeply aware of my personal limitations. I am old, white, a westerner, and a man! I don’t know which is worse! All of these aspects of my identity limit my understanding. So I ask for your forgiveness for the inadequacy of my words.”

The rejection of one’s identity as white, as a westerner, as a man (and why not also as a priest?) reveals the abyss into which the leaders of the Church are plunging in the face of an attack that is far worse than that of the barbarian invasions of the fifth and sixth centuries. Back then, the Church, guided by great pontiffs, did not abandon its post, while today it declines to carry out its mission.

A profound theological difference exists between Catholics and Jews, who in their denial of the Holy Trinity are more akin to Islam than to the Church of Rome, but what remains of Christian Europe is fighting against the same enemy as that of Israel. In the same way, Russia wants to take up the legacy of Constantinople, while Islam is the heir of the Turks who destroyed it, but today they have a common enemy. This enemy is the west: also the economic, political and military target of communist China, which lays claim to the errors of Marx and Lenin, spread by Russia throughout the world.

The confusion is dramatic and war, like natural disasters, seems to be gripping Europe in an inexorable encirclement. It is a “war of chaos” that cannot be escaped, as Vittorio Macioce wrote in Il Giornale (9 October): “It is a fate that pursues you house by house and touches Europe and Italy.”

Italy is the heart of the world, because it hosts the see of the Chair of Peter, which is the sole foundation of a possible rebirth of Christian civilisation. And it is necessary to remember, when all seems lost, that all is possible to God. We must believe this, with profound trust in Divine Providence, in one of the darkest hours of humanity’s history.

Towards a Global War? Ducunt fata volentem, nolentem trahunt

    By Roberto de Mattei

As missiles and drones ply the skies from the Black Sea to the Mediterranean, the concern of Western diplomacies seems to be to procrastinate as much as possible a general conflagration that everyone believes is inevitable. One reason for this pessimism is the apparent lack of a way forward in the face of increasingly intractable international issues, such as those in Ukraine and the Middle East. Only an axiological view of politics could offer a glimmer of light, but today every state, every coalition, makes Carl Schmitt's categories its own, according to which it is up to those who guide the destinies of peoples to decide from time to time who is the friend and who is the enemy. To the traditional social order, based on the Augustinian "tranquility in order"(De Civitate Dei, lib. 19, c. 12, 1), Schmitt opposes, as the norm of politics, the principle of disorder, based on Hobbes' theory of homo homini lupus . However, in the age of international disorder, nothing can be predicted and calculated with certainty, and politics turns into a game of chance, whose only rule is the imponderable. Probably neither Russia had calculated well the risk of the invasion of Ukraine, nor Hamas the consequences of the October 7 attack. The process of subsequent events is fraught with uncertainty and randomness.

From this perspective, the discussion of responsibility for events is in itself sterile, because no one, from the beginning, wanted things to go the way they are catastrophically going. The era of conspiracies, in which everything could be arranged, has been overwhelmed by that of permanent chaos. Seneca's words "ducunt fata volentem, nolentem trahunt" ("Fate leads he who wills to be led, it drags he who wills not," Epistles to Lucilius, 107, 11, 5) apply to a situation in which a world that turns its back on God, the only Lord of history, finds itself subject to the inexorable law of a fate it does not master. The gaze must therefore be shifted from the starting point to the possible end point of events.

As far as the Middle East is concerned, the Tehran-Tel Aviv tug-of-war has two possible endings: the collapse of the Iranian regime or the obliteration of the State of Israel. In the first case, the danger of Iran's nuclear intervention would be averted, and Israel could resume the path of the "Abrahamic Accords," which were discontinued after the Oct. 7 attack, to build peace relations with some Arab countries. In the second case, the disappearance of the State of Israel would be seen by the Islamic umma as a symbol of the collapse of the West and the beginning of a Muslim reconquest of Europe. Lands that belonged to Islam, from Sicily to Andalusia, would be claimed and the ideological and demographic project of Eurabia, would become a reality.

What could happen simultaneously in Ukraine? Here again we are faced with two possible pictures. In the first case, the winner of the upcoming U.S. elections, whether Biden or Trump, continues to provide Ukraine with weapons to fight, allowing Zelensky to resist Putin and, based on this balance of power, to seek an acceptable negotiation. In the second case, on the other hand, the U.S. and Europe abandon Kiev to its fate, the Russian army ramps up to Lviv, Ukraine becomes part of the Russian Empire once again, and the victory prompts Putin to expand his expansionist project to the countries that were part of the dissolved Soviet Union and to impose his protectorate on those bordering them.

In either case, the abandonment of Israel and Ukraine would spell the demise of the West. Southern Europe would fall under the yoke of Islam on dhimmitude terms, and Eastern Europe, as far as the Balkans, would become vassals of Moscow. But since a centuries-old enmity runs between Russia and the Islamic world, it cannot be ruled out that Europe could become, in this case, a land of confrontation between the two imperialisms, as happened when, in the 16th century, the powers of France and Spain struggled to seize the Italian peninsula.

In a situation in which the attitude of the United States will be decisive, the wisest thing Europe can do is to arm itself, even at the cost of decreasing its standard of living as a result of this choice. But will the Europeans want to do so, or will they prefer to argue endlessly about the lack of economic resources and the difficulty of the legal steps required to wage war? To arm themselves would take that fighting spirit that has made Europe great over the centuries and that descends from the teaching of the Gospel that Christ came to bring not peace but the sword (Mt. 10:34-35; Lk. 12:51-53). Today, however, peace is sought at any cost, and the former slogan, "better red than dead," has been replaced by that, "better submission than war."
Pope Francis makes incessant appeals for peace, as did his predecessors on the eve of the two great world conflicts of the twentieth century. But the 20th century popes identified the cause of war as the abandonment of God's law in international life and pointed to a return to natural law and the faith of Christ as the only condition for establishing true peace.

Peace will certainly not be secured by what is called the "liberal order." The dream of building a civilization on the principles of the Enlightenment and the French Revolution has failed miserably. It is certainly not in the name of those values that the West can delude itself into thinking it can stand against the enemy that assails it. But it is even more illusory to imagine that a compromise can be found with the Islamic world that assails us, or to think that a bulwark against chaos can be represented by Putin's Russia.

It is true: neither in Islamic countries nor in Russia is there a place for homosexual marriage or gender theory, but there is no room for the spread of the Catholic faith in them either. In the West, on the other hand, the dictatorship of relativism persecutes Christians, but young people are returning to God, crowding churches and filling seminaries when the Catholic religion is offered according to traditional doctrine and liturgy. This revival is precluded both in the land of Islam, where Christian witness is punished by death, and in Orthodox Russia, where laws prohibit the apostolate of Catholics. In the corrupt West, freedom still exists, and a return to the civilization that made Europe great, with God's help, is still possible.

Let there be no illusions. The gambling of actors on the grand stage is destined to be ruinous, and appeals for an unconditional peace will fail to cover the noise of arms. The fire can only be extinguished by a love for a Christian civilization willing to do the ultimate sacrifice.

Four days ago Afghan migrants caught rioting the streets of Paris:

    https://youtube.com/shorts/OPrv15PBW6A?si=mOD7g3yjLz0-chol

HUNDREDS of migrants have been evicted by gun-wielding cops from France's biggest squat ahead of the Olympic Games in Paris… With just 100 days to go until the Olympics - being held from July 26 to August 11 - authorities today evicted the migrants and encouraged them to board buses to other parts of France. Some had left earlier in the week, after authorities announced they would be evicting them. But hundreds more - men, women, and children - were seen leaving today under the watchful eye of police in riot gear, clutching their personal possessions in bags, suitcases, or trolleys.

PARIS will be destroyed through CIVIL WAR ~ Marie-Julie Jahenny prophecy:

(April 27, 1877) "The CRIES OF ALARM AND DESPAIR rise up to Heaven. The month of the Sacred Heart (June) and My Blood (July), it will be the signal of punishment, CIVIL WAR."

"When the government will see these changes it will be like a bird, it will fly to another country and France will be free in its revolution. It is at that moment when it will flee Paris."

…My victim, you will not hear the last crackle of men's voices, because you will be no more. (NOTE: this will happen sometime after her death. She died in 1941). The cries of the earth of despair will rise to Heaven the precious month of the Sacred Heart (June) and that of the Precious Blood (July) will be two months filled with terror. Only blasphemies will be heard there. It will be the signal of the chastisements, the signal of a civil war… The fleur-de-lys, bathed in the Blood of the Sacred Heart and in the Martyr kings will be a victory.

America has provided tens of billions of dollars to the Ukraine, but the Ukraine is running out of fighting men. One cannot win wars with missile strikes alone, particularly against an opponent with at least equal missile capability; boots on the ground are required to achieve victory. The danger is that the US is manipulating Europe to provide the manpower to fight Russia, while having no intention of sending her own men into battle. Which all fits neatly with the approved prophesies on the subject. Simultaneously, Turkey is distancing herself from the rest of NATO, by taking the side of Hamas, while the rest support Israel to varying degrees. Both conflicts cannot be isolated from one another and if Russia invades Europe in response to NATO involvement in the Ukraine, an opportunistic Turkish attack through Greece, with Gaza as the pretext, would be unsurprising.

Turkey is not taking the side of Hamas. Erdogan is playing both sides against the middle. Turkey exports a lot to Israel. Turkey could give Albion a run for its money on perfidy.

I think the plan is for America to fight Russia to the last European, and it has been the plan from the beginning. According to Tony Shaffer, there are many US troops on the ground in Ukraine but not officially. Suggestions of the EU going to war on the side of Ukraine should be of major concern to us. That's the EU rather than NATO. The treaty they had us re-do the referendum for ratification removes our option of neutrality despite the unwritten assurances we were given when they wanted a different result the second time. Orban is the smartest leader in Europe. I think they're looking for a way to force Hungary into the war. Hungary is in NATO but the Article 5 they talk about doesn't oblige NATO members to row in. They can give as much or as little support as they please.

I think the Germans and French were promised a slice of Russia's natural resources as well as the uncapped resources in Eastern Ukraine. Britain has always wanted Crimea. America wants control of the Arctic and I believe that that's where the US will choose to fight Russia. They would have a better chance of victory there against a weakened Russia. I know precious little about military matters but that's the sense I get from all the talk surrounding this conflict. When Nuland was handing out the cookies in Maidan, I think they figured they could stops BRICS before it became a real threat. They didn't succeed and now the US dollar is at stake. The US political class will fight to the last American soldier for the $ because that underpins their hegemony. European political leaders are just vassals, with the possible exception of Orban, but even Orban has a breaking point.

WARSAW, April 24 (Reuters) - Poland is ready to help Ukraine in getting military-age male citizens to return and help their home country in fighting in the war against Russia, Defence Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz said on Wednesday.

The Ukrainian government announced rules on Wednesday under which passports for military-age men can be issued only inside the country instead of foreign diplomatic missions.

As a result, men aged between 18 and 59 living abroad will be unable to renew expiring passports or obtain new ones.

Poland has suggested in the past helping Ukraine so that those who are subject to military service go back to their country to fulfill their civic obligation, Kosiniak-Kamysz told Polsat News television.

"I think many Poles are outraged when they see young Ukrainian men in hotels and cafes, and they hear how much effort we have to make to help Ukraine," he said, without giving any details on how Poland will help.

Dima on the Military Summary Channel says that Poland is giving documents to Ukrainian refugees that permit them to remain in Poland, That makes sense because the EU doesn't force refugees to return to a conflict zone where they could be forced to fight. I think that, under EU rules, immigrants can apply for residency status after two years. I'm not sure whether that includes a right to citizenship but it probably does. Anyway, it will make little difference to them if the EU declares war on Russia because they will be conscripted into the Polish army and that nutcase Tusk is the worst kind of Eurocrat, gung-ho to get the EU into war. The Poles were crazy to elect him.

Very interesting interview on you tube--George Galloway and Scott Ritter. Galloway is a rep in the House of Commons i think. Ritter is a former Marine intelligence officer and a military analyst. Ritter has harsh things to say about Israel. Very harsh things about the IDF. He speaks of shooting children and starving the Palestinians. He says they are worse than the Nazis or at least equivalent. So disturbing. He is not a wide eyed campus radical but a seasoned military officer who I think sees things as they are and says it. He also accused the USA powers that be of being a force for evil. Scary stuff. Marines don't say that kind of thing usually.
