I’m still reeling over the news yesterday about Trump. I do believe God intervened and allowed the wind to blow just right, the humidity to be at the right percentage and his Guardian Angel moved his head to the right position to save his life. IMO without the Grace of God, the US would have rapidly deteriorated into a civil war. I believe we are teetering on the brink even now. Sometimes I think God will allow America to take itself down. While thinking about all of this let us not forget the man who lost his life while trying to save his family. Had he not moved in such a heroic way perhaps we would be mourning the death of his children or wife. Let us also not forget to pray for the shooter who died as we do not yet know the state of his mind or the issues in his life that led him to go down such a diabolical path. God bless the USA and may it still yet become a beacon of God’s Grace and Mercy. Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception pray for our salvation!
I can't stop thinking about it either. That poor man who lost his life to protect his daughter was truly heroic. There were also two heroes in the crowd who came to his aide in an attempt to save him, one of whom was a doctor. Prayers for all. If ever there was a call from God for Donald Trump convert, this was his moment.

These are the same colors that I referenced the other day, in regards to the exorcist flag vision. That they could be mixed together to make light-orange. I am just wondering if there is a connection between this flag vision, the Rosa Mystica, and Trump being shot. Especially since it was recently "approved". It was approved only 5 days ago. The vision of the exorcist also came out the same day the green light was given to Rosa Mystica. Agree. I was praying all last week almost begging God for mercy for the US. Begging him to spare us and give the good a chance to defeat the evils in because I fear if the US falls so does the world. My country has been so heavy on my heart of late in my prayer life because Lord knows there is so much evil, hatred and division in it. It is my hope now that this event will seriously help in bringing back this nation to God. I will keep praying hard!
Very encouraging post I went to 5 pm Mass this evening and at the end of Mass the priest asked us to pray for those who died, those who were wounded, for President Trump, and for our country.

I was meaning to ask what was said in the many masses on Sunday. I was so angry at my parish. They didn't even mention the shooting. In the petitions they were very generic in praying for an end of violence and most especially for the violence that occurred recently in my city where a young man went into a party and shot and killed 4 people. I can't believe after such an event as what happened Saturday knowing many are angry, hurting, etc, my priest said nothing on the matter. Then again, I have been noticing for some time that my parish priest has become much more liberal and woke in his sermons than ever before. Another petition was to pray for those who are discriminated against for their sexual beliefs and ideology. Gross if you ask me. I will pray for their souls but not for their hurt feelings or for people to respect their lifestyle choices. It is getting to the point where I need to find a new parish. That is not going to be easy because I am a part of the finance counsel and have 3 more years of service in that role.
Yes, it does sound like you need to find a new parish. I was pretty surprised our priest did not mention anything yesterday… he has only been in our parish for one year, but had made some very traditional changes, so I appreciate that.
So why are our so called church "leaders" silent on this issue. Has to be a coordinated call from US Bishops to say nothing on the matter. I was so close to calling out in mass during the petitions and for President Trump, the families of those injured and killed and for the heart of the nation. Maybe I should have because voices need to be heard and persons need to be brave but just didn't seem right to disturb the mass.
We live in an age of cowards. I am sad to say it but by and large people go along to get along because the cost is too high to step out of the crowd. That iconic picture of Trump is so powerful. The man has fortitude. I'm sad all our priests remained silent.
I have been going through the bible in a year and it is great, but what I constantly hear is that when the world seems like it is full of sheep among wolves, God always raises up lions! I am sure he will be doing so now as well.
I have been watching some of Brandon Biggs videos. He mentions at 18:00 God tells us we keep praying for the fruit to change, and that this is stupid, because the root of the tree is what needs to change. Once we change the root, we get new fruit. We have to repent and change our ways first. Seemingly, church authority today has no interest in changing the roots of sin. No interest in correction, which demonstrates a lack of faith. But it sounds like whether our church authorities are ready or not, God is bringing a shaking.
My priest asked for prayers for our country, for the division and hatred that caused the assassination attempt to be healed, and for everyone involved in the shooting.
