I want to thank all you beautiful people for your prayers. As well as those beautiful people praying clandestinely. May God Bless you abundantly. As yet I have not been able to visit Amy. I know the Lord is working in ways incomprehensible to human intellect. This has been the way our Lord has worked in my life. God sort of draws out a sorrow, a pain, a trauma and allows me to live with this, so that I give it all to Him, He even sometimes all0ws crosses to be intermingled. So I have learnt to trust His incomprehensible ways as He has used this same scenario numerous times before. To explain...... My life has been one saga after another for over 50 years. (Personally I detest sagas because they are usually messy, humiliating and require truckloads of acceptance ) I detest messy, humiliating and acceptance of that which is abhorrent. My second son Lucas had emergency surgery on Tuesday (in Sydney), the 9 July 2024 and now sports a stoma, we have moved him home. So much unsaid. My youngest daughter Brodie who lives in Brisbane (a different State) just gave birth to our 12th grandchild on the 24 of June, but has been hospitalised three times since giving birth, due to mastitis! In His great mercy God has given me the means to focus on only Him! I have surrendered all to Him. He is looking after everything. He leads me in all that I do. Jesus is my rock. I look only to Him He is the Infant King of Love. The last few weeks have been physically and emotionally exhausting, but I trust in Jesus, Please pray that I continue to trust in only Him. We are all prayer warriors, a big old family sticking together virtually, or rather vertically, connected through our Good Lord and his Blessed Mother. I will continue to pray our family Rosaries for the intentions of all forum members and all your loved ones. That is, if I make it to Rosary. Have been going through a very dark phase, skipped Mass. On the positive side, I have successfully completed my second Strive 21 program, achieving purity. Today, I am starting a third Strive 21 program, this time aiming for temperance. God bless all here - I will continue to pray for all forum members and some in particular! Please, in your kindness, do keep Peter and me also in your prayers as we are, apparently, both struggling with darkness. God bless!!

More prayers today for all here today. I read a lovely thing about virtue the other day. The author says that virtue is obtained by constantly trying to practice it. I find this true at the moment with being grumpy so if someone does something to annoy me I try to take the most charitable interpretation. So if a couple are talking in Church I try to assume that they have very good reason for doing so. I find this gets a little easier with time. I grow an itsy bitsy little bit grumpy. The Church judges a saint as someone who practices heroic virtue. St Francis De Sales is adjudged as one of the kindest, sweetest best tempered of all the saints. But they found after he died underneath his desk had been deeply scratched by his fingernails trying to stay calm. He was practicing the virtue of patience. Trying not to be a graump.
I would suspect the dark period is a temptation or trial, brought on by giving up the addiction. A withdrawal type of effect. Flesh against spirit

Going through a very difficult moment. Please pray for me. My husband is in love with another woman he met online and sends her thousands of dollars, has even taken loans to cover for her expenses. This has been going on for 2 years despite praying and trying to reconcile with him. I am the leader of a Girl Scout Troop that used to be a great positive group of families, but has now been split by a couple of moms being very critical and inviting to events only part of the troop. They criticize and talk negatively about my leadership, no matter how much I try to befriend and welcome them, and involve them in organizing everything as they like. I am going to have to give leadership to these two moms to try to keep the troop together. Developed Covid this past Saturday, feel very weak. I have to return to work tomorrow as a Pediatrician. Not sure how I can cope with all this, plus taking care of my kids and home.
I ask prayers for my late daughter's fiance, Steven, who died in June and for our family. my daughter passed in February, so please keep us in your prayers. For the children. God bless
