We live in very confusing times. I loved the description by Friend of Medjugorje of him collecting Maria from her house and taking her to Apparition Hill for one of the nights of the Novena for peace. She simply prayed Hail Mary's all the way on her journey. I have in the past attended one of her Apparitions. She seems to me to be such a simple uncomplicated soul, sincere and gentle. I know there has been controversy about A Friend of Medjugorje but he gave away loads of free books to everyone on Medjugorje. I have some of them and they are really nice.
I dont think so the original message in the language of the visionary is "ponus" that translates to pride,,, Its strange for sure as it has caused confusion thats something our Holy Mother would most certainly not do. what is possible if the visionary instead of quoting exactly what our Holy Mother said decided to use there own words to explain what they heard and saw that would justify human error.
There is a story about Saint Catherine of Sienna having an apparition of Our Lady having appeared to the saint and told her she was most certainly NOT the Immaculate Conception . We all know how that turned out. Actualky at that period several saints backed the Doctrine of the Immaculate Conception and several saints opposed it . I had an interesting discussion with the priest in charge of the Divine Mercy Centre in Stockbridge in the aUSA about all this. He claimed this apparition of Our L ady to St Catherine never happened and challenged me to cite my sources It took me ages to find them and present them. Then he raised he did not believe my sources. I think people mostly believe what theyxwant to
A definition of pride that is not so controversial does fit in with the message in question: consciousness of one's own dignity. It is a great honor to be included in the family of God and to have Our Lady as our Mother! Praise God for His Mercy!
Whenever I have doubts about medjugorje I just look at the visionary, Vicka, and how much she has suffered and is suffering. It would be impossible to fake that level of suffering and it is very indicative that it is coming from God. Vicka would be a good sign in regards to the authenticity of medjugorje, IMO.
Yes. The greatest series of Marian Apparitions in human history. The greatest by far. But recall she comes as Queen of Peace. This gives us a huge clue as to what is coming. The greatest Human Conflict in history.
I agree. Vicka, IMO, is the real deal. She radiates love. When she grasped my hand, I felt grace like lightning rush through me. I have wondered some things about situations with Marija, but I still don't doubt Medjugorje as a whole. Also, Vicka obtained a miracle for me. It's a long story, but I don't know if my younger children would be here without her.

Hb for Ivan's apparitions is there a link or is it by email? Struggle with Ivan's close friends and crew no offense a lot of those families were involved with selling our churches from being on trusts then to condos and banking the money. They use medjugorje as a Disneyland. I struggle with seeing this. I try not to judge the visionary as we all bare a cross.
Have you been there? It is no Disneyland. I am heading back in November, 4th year in a row. They have a monumental, life changing story to tell anyone willing to listen, hearts to believe.
I mean Ivan's friends they go multiple times a year they use it as a vacation over pilgrimage. Artie Boyle is involved with housing for the archdiocese for Boston and is selling our church properties for a cheap price then selling them as condos for him and rich families gains where they put them into trusts to hide assets. It's like the in crowd it turns me off. Sorry for my sour attitude just a lot of corruption in Boston with those connected with Ivan. I wonder if Ivan will ever get clamped down for unaproval due to this. Chances are Ivan and the boyles have collected off housing in medjugorje creating a monopoly and tourist attraction over an actual pilgrimage site. I'm a firm believer in medjugorje and the visionaries but some have to be careful on ties and making money. Funding is what almost shut down medjugorge and it's approval before with the old cardinal out if mostar if I'm correct. Ivan should tread lightly if he's collecting off medjugorje it could compromise the apparition.
