Professor Stein from time to time does videos on Catholic Prophecy which are well worth watching. Very factual.
True, he states facts, and watching him it is clear he is very much an intellectual. However he consistently gives off a tone of irritation, anger, and annoyance. There are times for this, however he is always like this. IMO he is hyper obsessed with the failures of the Vatican and juices the emotions of irritation, anger, and annoyance. As he speaks I also get the sense he leans a lot more towards the law instead of the spirit as well. I can go further as to why this kind of posture is toxic if you like. I am not being rude or indignant, but genuine. I lived in these emotions for years for many reasons and regret it.
The Orthodox Father Peter Heers said something very true and insightful the other day and something which should be repeated and underlined a lot more. He says the troubles in the World are only reflections of the troubles in the Church. That if the Church were not in a very bad way the World would not be in such a bad way.
I didn't realize this either until I saw so many attacks coming from Catholics yesterday on X/Twitter. It was eye opening, so many furious people. I don't think it is something that we should dwell on, or lose peace over because we know that God will see to it that the Truth will be revealed. Until then, pray for patience. Time is passing quickly, it won't be long.
And the roots of the church are in the earth of each one of us. One of the things that I love about the messages of Our Lady from Medjugorje is how she emphasizes the path of Love. Yes, everything is already in sacred tradition and scripture. However, the messages of Medjugorje also have the grace of opening up tough hearts and getting them prepared to go deeper in the faith. I really feel like the stuff we are seeing in the church authority is a result/reflection of what is in the collective hearts of the laity. Our Lady is really trying to correct this.
Please refer to Padraig’s comments about Stine above. We will have to agree to disagree. There is righteous anger. If one is not angry with the heresies of the current occupants of the Vatican, I can’t help them much.
Yes. We used to have very long discussions on this forum about whether or not Medugorje was true, but they became so heated,so quickly it was better to ease them off. If it had carried on we would have done nothing else om the forum but argue about Medugorje. Anyway its a subject people to have fixed views about and have made their minds up ages ago one way or the other. As you say I was surprised what a fury people got into one way or the other about it. But I notice its the same with all purported Marian Apparitions with people for and against. It's just one of them things... But although I do believe in Medugorje myself with all my heart I do listen very carefully to other peoples objections. It's nice to keep the door of an open mind open.
I stick to Church approved Marian apparitions in this day and age. In a time of universal diabolical disorientation, that’s the only safe alternative. When someone is sneeringly referred to as a “hater” simply for pointing out grave well known problems with supposed apparitions, that just lends fuel to the fire of rational opposition to it.
Aww, I'm sad to hear this. I enjoyed his video very much...He sounds just like my Grandpa in Alabama.
