He was only holidaying in Ireland not moving but yes I am a little concerned as he had suggested meeting me whilst he was here as I only lived a mile from where he was staying and its unusual for him not to be on the forum especially since Aug 14th, I did send him an email asking if everything was ok but he never replied so hopefully he has just been very busy with his travels and all is well.
Prayslie had Miker’s phone number and I spoke with Mike this morning. The family was involved in a very bad car accident in Richmond, VA, while coming back from Assumption Vigil Mass. They were hit by a drunk driver. I pm’ed Prayslie and I will let him post the details. Quis had the instinct to follow through. Thank God.
Prayers going up for Mike and his family for safe physical & mental recovery from the accident & human loss. May Lord Jesus heal & comfort them & thank you @HeavenlyHosts for speaking with Mike.
Mike’s sister-in-law Mary Ellen was killed in the crash. She received the Last Rites and the Apostolic Blessing. Mike’s injuries were severe and he is still recovering. His wife is recovering in a facility. She has not yet been told about the passing of her sister. The family is still in Richmond, Virginia. It’s overwhelming.
Oh my goodness. How sad. Thank God for this site and that people were praying for him, even before they had the news. I am sure it provided much graces in this tragedy. Praying for Miker and his family. Also, the soul of the sister in law.
