I first watched Oliver Stone's film about JFK in high school around 2013 and realized how corrupt the system was...
Then I delved a little deeper into research when the internet wasn't so algorithmically driven and quickly came across numerous documentaries about cultural Marxism, etc. Because until then I had a naive idea of the West that unfortunately many still have today...

The problem is when you get into it, you realize how sick and psychotic everything is where Western governments literally finance radical Islamists who kill innocent people regardless of their religion, and they have especially exterminated Christians and taxpayers finance it...Secret societies that lead the West to ruin with migration, LGBT ideology, murders and executions of those honorable presidents, arms trafficking, colored revolutions, imposing perversions on children, secret services that traffic in children, organs and people...The war on drugs which is actually again waged through government organizations, not to mention the corruption of politicians, orgies and diseases that rule. And all of that is wrapped in some kind of cellophane where you see people in departments who, in front of cameras and "their" media, are shaping the narrative for the public, and many live in delusion.

If I didn't believe in God, and I believe in good, I would have two options.
    1) Go crazy to the point of ending up in an institution or doing something to yourself...
    2) The other is to accept it and become a part of it.

They say that saints had one eye in heaven and the other on Earth. Completely understandable because a good person who does not have God and does not look at the source of goodness can quickly get caught in the darkness that the World offers. The worst thing is when you know some things and you cannot change them. However, we always have faith and hope, in the end we have Jesus in the Eucharist as God who is present so that no matter what tomorrow brings, He is with us. We can't get any more than that.

We all strive for something eternal that is infinitely good and filled with love without ceasing. But even to reach the rose flower, you have to go through thorns. This World is thorns and will be thorns until the very end, but the very fact that there is a striving for eternal good within us means that it is also waiting for us somewhere. We just have to "earn" it.

I think the poison has being coming for a very long time, but either the purveyors of it didn't quite realise the evil of their ideas and actions, or deliberately moderated their real intentions in order to make them more likely to be accepted. Now, they don't need their masks. I think it goes back not just to the "Enlightenment", but to the Reformation and even much of the "Renaissance". What need to glorify the Greeks when the treasures of the Middle Ages were still new?

It looks like the old cathedral got a massive overhaul. Everything looks amazing and bright inside. I visited ND almost 30 years ago and it was pretty dark inside. The stone walls were not this bright either, I am thinking the walls were dark from all the candles over the years. An amazingly well done job.

I don't think that new altar will last as long as the cathedral. The contrast simply underlines how pathetic modernism is. To think whoever designed that thing is probably very proud of it. Same with whoever chose to put it there. To the stonemasons and other tradesmen who built this magnificent cathedral, it was just another humble day's work, probably many of them doing it for the Glory of God, as well as their day's pay. They're all individually forgotten now...except by God.

To me, the new altar looks like some modern form of pagan miniatures from South American tribes where they had sacrifices on top.

Jesus Christ had his last supper at the table, which means 4 legs and a wooden board on top. Is it that hard to do? Even if we turn a blind eye to the fact that Jesus is God, I think that as a carpenter he understands what they are doing.
Of course the altars don't look like an ordinary wooden table, so don't get me wrong, but they remind me of it and the Last Supper, this has nothing to do with that.

We all understand why they do it, modern churches look as if the communists built them all under the guise of false modesty and poverty. To remove the mysticism and greatness of God as if entering some government building, and not what the Church, or temple has been since the beginning of time, the place where God "dwells."

The arrangements of modern Churches after the Second Vatican Council, which are quite festive, dry without altars, statues and everything that suggests that you are in a Church. The idea was to get closer to the people, that God is not in the environment but in the community itself that celebrates the Holy Mass and on the altar during the conversion. In my opinion, it's a failure, because after all, those old churches exude a certain sanctity, dignity and secrecy. When you enter even if you don't belive, you see that you are in a place of special significance, in many such churches you can read the history of the Church, the Gospels, and entire events are shown that have not only religious importance, but also historical and artistic importance.

All of this gives an additional impression to the holding of the Holy Mass, which, in combination with the Latin language, gives a completely new dimension.

Thank God I live in a country where 90% was built from the 8th to the 20th century, through various eras and they are all beautiful in their own way and reflect the sanctity of the place you have come to.

Cathedrals were built to raise the heart and soul to God. MANY years of labour were dedicated to God, building these structures. The decor and statues remind us of who we pray with and to.
The post-vatical iconoclasts , "in the 'SPIRIT' of Vatican II", stripped churches here of those 'old-fashioned' reminders. Where I was, church 'embelishments' were literally sent to the tip!
Rather than 'dedicated to God', we were told churches had to be multi-purpose facilities.
That was just one of the factors that have caused the loss of Faith. Where I was, they started with a picnic table!
It goes, without saying, that an "altar" must be a place of sacrifice. It certainly was so for the Jews.
I'm sure that with the Jews, as in "Orthododox" and Eastern churches today, the priest was one who offered to God, on our behalf, in his 'own space'.
Today he is a 'master of ceremonies', a convenor who makes us feel welcome. HE is the center of attention, not God; he welcomes us to the communal 'meal' at a table, not to a sacrifice.
Unfortunately the 'traditional' Catholics have died or left, and what remains, are largely modernised catholics.
    The altar is the focus.
As with the Latin Mass, I'm sure traditional churches have more adherants and greater fervor.
Pray for a return to tradition!

France is falling (bankrupt). Germany is falling (they want to secede from the EU). South Korea just had an attempted coup de etat. Britain is totally bankrupt. The USA is in a total ferment. Syria is at war once again. Israel and I don't know how many countries they are bombing because they say they need to to , 'Defend themselves'. Ukriane is beaten...and on and on and on..

    Matthew 24:6-13

6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

At the present there are 120 wars and armed conflicts in the World:

    https://geneva-academy.ch/galleries/today-s-armed-conflicts

    ie:
Middle East and North Africa: More than 45 Armed Conflicts

This is, in numbers, the most affected region: more than 45 armed conflicts are currently taking place throughout the Middle East and North Africa in the following territories: Cyprus, Egypt, Iraq, Israel, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Turkey, Yemen and Western Sahara.

The majority are non-international (NIACs), involving a multitude of armed non-state actors and foreign interventions by Western powers, Russia, and neighbouring countries – except for the NIACs taking place in Egypt and Turkey.

‘Syria is the most affected country in the region. Several multiple and overlapping NIACs are taking place in the country – involving numerous armed groups who fight against the government and against each other –, along with two military occupations and three international armed conflicts’ explains Dr Chiara Redealli, Research Fellow at the Geneva Academy.

After Germany, the second largest country in the EU also fell. It will be interesting with Italy, since 1948 there have been a total of 68 governments and none of them managed to maintain their mandate until the end of 5 years. Although their government is formed in the parliament, new elections are not held every year.

It was also interesting in South Korea. The president, who has the support of only 18% (never less in the country's history), declared a state of emergency and wanted to practically introduce a dictatorship and ban the opposition. Then his plan failed because the parliament did not support it...Instead of the opposition being the Russians, he accused them of being close to the North Korean regime.

How there is always a little dictator in Western leaders...

Speaking of which, Biden could pardon Fauci, Cheney, and other Democrats for any future charges they may face, freeing them from potential penalties.

This is already the definition of a banana state with communist elements. We in the former communist countries where the remnants are still in power have a saying that if you are a member of the "party" you can do whatever you want because the party amnesties you. This is literally with these "forgives" permission to do whatever you want. If Biden does this, the US will never be the same.

Any potential for a French King to emerge from all this chaos?

Was the Korean incident an attempted coup orchestrated by the Biden administration? Perhaps, an attempt to set up a second front against N. Korea/Russia?

I read in 'Moon of Alabama' that the current US Ambassador to S. Korea, one Philip Goldberg (wonder what tribe is he) has previously been expelled from Bolivia and the Philippines for attempted coups-Wicked Paedia (not very reliable) confirms the former, but makes no mention of the latter.

Now, I read that the attempted coup didn't happen unexpectedly. It seems there were huge, 100,000-strong protests against the President, before he attempted to implement Martial Law, but, surprise surprise, no mention by the Western mainstream media. Our governments and political establishments are a collective plot against humanity. Serving what interest(s)?

Desperation seems to be setting in, with Blinken applying incredible pressure on Zelensky to recruit younger Ukrainian men for slaughter, according to the same ZeroHedge. What are they trying to salvage or hide?

The more that goes on before (hopefully) his inauguration, the more evidence seems to be provided that the anti-Trump narrative that he is just another part of 'the system' is false.

Let's not forget years of lawfare, media propaganda, assassination attempts and now, a desperate attempt to complete imperialistic programmes before time has run out. They don't want Trump and it takes a determined placing of one's head in the sand to think otherwise. May God help and protect him.

The glimmer of light in all of this is that in a biblical manner, the more the cabal struggles the more it fails as of late. Everything it does only makes matters worse for them.
