Prayers for my family & those in the whole world

Maybe God gave you them as a cross so that you rely only on Him. By your example of trust and faith which is all we have control over will be the witness they will see and they will convert. God loves them very much … more than you do. It’s all such a mystery. God is love and God is good. Praying for you. Praying for all of us. Peace.

 

Yeah it’s hard, but honestly I’m so thankful for the fact that I can be in their lives to provide an example. If it wasn’t for people like us I don’t think they’d have anyone to ask for graces on their behalf. Plus it motivates us to pray and sacrifice more.

 

Every morning I pray a ‘SEALING PRAYER through the PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST’.
With this prayer you can seal virtually everyone - relatives, acquaintances, neighbours, everyone you think about etc.
There is a story about how the devil tried in vain to claim lost souls, but could not because they were sealed.
Unfortunately, I can't find the identical prayer in English on the internet at the moment.
Sealing prayers for yourself and others can certainly be found.

I do the same Steve and have for years. I never found it anywhere i just started praying it when my kids were small and I've continued. Every morning and every night.
Here is my version.
Dear Jesus Lamb of God please seal ( names)in Your Precious Blood. Please saturate them body soul and spirit. Please seal them for the Holy Kingdom of God. Please seal them away from and protect them from the world the flesh and the devil. Please place them under the blue mantle of Mother Mary the Holy Cloak of St Joseph and the protective Shield of St Michael the aRchangel and their Guardian Angel's. Keep them safe from all harm physical and spiritual and bring them safely home at the end of the day and safely home to Your Sacred Heart at the end of their lives.

I usually sprinkle my water in their direction as I pray it.

 

I have a devotion to St Monica as did my Mom. My mom passed long ago but 12 yrs ago my brother that she prayed for endlessly, died on St Monica's day.
I hadn't seen him in 20 years and the coroner called me on that day.
Now I am the one who seeks the same but I am seeing many miracles in the meantime. A family member who I pray for informed me a few days ago she is using the Hallow app for the Rosary. I almost fell off my chair.
I do the St Michael chaplet and I know St Michael is working hard... don't give up...God hears us..

 

Never forget that now totally, totally , totally, horrible a situation you are in , that you are there for a reason. You have not been dealt a bad hand of cards. If you love God, you there for a reason and it's where the Good God wants you to be. Plus He's right there with you.

Jesus was dealt the very worst deck of cards. The King of the city were He lived tried to stiff Him as a baby from the get go.

He died the worst death imaginable , tortured, spat on, insulted on a Cross.

The best Sign we are following in His Bloody footsteps is when we are up to our neck in crap as He was.

If you find yourself nailed down staring at the faces of folks who hate you worse than they hate zero coke. Pat yourself on the back.

It's the, very, very best place to be.

Because its just on that give up , I want to die spot the Good God wants you to be.

It's from the "anastpaul.com" breathing Catholic website that I've subscribed to. She emails daily thoughts, quotes, reflections, morning offering, Saints of the day .. there's so many Saints I've never heard of, with short texts from the Early Church Fathers, and more.

 

I probably did realise that early on, had I not been born into my family I may not have been such a devout Catholic. God always knows what He's doing!

I do have a Holy envy of other devout, Catholic families though... It must be nice to discuss all things Catholic lol.

I'm definitely uniting my sufferings to His. His were unimaginable. Who could do that to another person? Let alone, Christ the King.

I think what a lot of ppl are feeling is tho they're tired of losing but God had His Passion, Death & Resurrection. He will rescue us from this Christian persecution as well.

Evil, simply cannot win. A lot of us feel like evil is winning & taking over & it's been like this for ages...

I think we're all begging God 'Pls, Lord, can I catch a break?!!' Lol. I use humour to cope.
