I don't see the issue. The "end times" is an undefined period of time. It doesn't say how many popes would reign during that period. Only that it would begin after three more popes (plus John Paul I) post-John XXIII.
That's what's great about the Roman Catholic Church. The "end of the times" aka "the end times" aka the "consummation of the age" aka the "last days" aka the "eschaton" (Greek) aka the "novissimi" (Latin) are concepts that have a clear, OFFICIAL interpretation by the Roman Catholic Church. You can find a description of that interpretation in CCC 675-677 that I quoted above. The "end of the times" is not something different from the "end times." How do I know that? Because the Church does not distinguish between those two things in its official documents. Those phrases refer to the time period when the events described in CCC 675-677 occur. While we cannot make up our own interpretation of this concept, neither are we allowed to ignore the Church's clear interpretation of it.

Regardless of my opinion-which doesn’t matter-the end of times-meaning the end of time-is different then the END OF THE TIMES-my view-but again is not important-brining up CCC quotes re the two differences or NOT or the same thing or anything else is NOT what Blessed Mother spoke of at Garabandal. I quote Her statement at Garabandal ONLY and its meaning and that’s it. Comparing it to nothing else other than itself. I quote and speak of Garabandal here only. The facts. Yes my opinion too at times but that’s not more important than Garabandal Facts and actual Garabandal quotes Peace!

Ok, this is all a bit beyond my understanding. I'm a simple person. I am curious, though, regarding this understanding you described here, what implications does this have regarding the next Pope?
Haha...ok. But what is the significance of the ending of that era, and the new "end of the times" era? Why have a demarcation? Obviously, with each passing day we get closer to the return of Jesus, and to the Warning/Miracle, but what was the significance of this new era to Mary, such that she felt it necessary to tell Conchita? Maybe we don't know.
Blessed Mother at Garabandal didn’t say. She just advised after the four Popes will be the “End of the times.” Marking a new Era for the church or New Epoch. Where the Garabandal Events and beyond begin.
We are not talking about the second coming of Christ. We are referrring to the end of an "era", and the begining God's last act of mercy for us ( The Warning & Miracle ) and possibly (depending on humanity's response), a Chastisement, and a new era.
You forget , Mary tried to warn us before at Fatima ( the 3rd secret), but it was never revealed ! So she came again a yeaar later at Garabandal telling a more detailed story of future events, and entrusting Conchita with a date as proof, that her words of warning were true.
Conchita said there would be four Popes after the death of John XXIII: Then it would be the "end of the times." You must understand what Conchita was referencing. When she was told that there would be 4 more popes, then it would be" the end of THE times" this meant an "end of an era ", and the beginning of another ( not the end of all time or the end of all popes ) . It was MARKING A PERIOD IN TIME. The reason it is the end is we are entering a new era, one which this generation will witness God’s last act of mercy, the "Warning, and the great "Miracle, and the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church. A test of humanity, if you will. So many people are disappointed that Pope Francis died without going to Moscow, as we all hoped he would to signal the coming prophecied events. But that doesn’t mean they won’t happen, it means they will happen in the order God has predestined them to. I will admit (along with honest Garabandal believers ) that we “assumed “ since he was the pope after the 4th, that this was the time period of prophecy. We have entered into that “ new era”, but we must await the final fulfillment of all the prophecies, ie, the Pope going to Moscow, more hostilities breaking out, and as Mari Loli said : “Things will be at their worst’ before God brings the Warning & the Miracle. Stay faithful , stay strong, Mary is never wrong.

Since it is Easter season : Garabandal and the Holy Shroud of Turin Only after Father Eusebio Garcia de Pesquera had written his comprehensive book on Garabandal, “SHE WENT IN HASTE TO THE MOUNTAIN”, did it come to light that the Shroud was mentioned at Garabandal. It was during one of Conchita's ecstasies when the Blessed Virgin spoke to the visionary about the Sabana Santa (Spanish for Holy Shroud). Among the spectators at that ecstasy was the Marquesa de Santa Maria, an excellent witness, and it was from her that Prof. Jacques Serre learned what the Virgin said about the Shroud. The Marquesa heard Conchita repeat the words of Our Lady: "It is the divine imprint of my Son." With all thats happened lately, I wanted remind all of you what’s most important. I for one stopped focusing on the "Miracle date" ages ago, when I went through hundreds of saints who are Martyrs of the Eucharist in April, and could not find one who was a perfect fit. I had done so many years of research because I was determined to prove I could figure out the date . Over lunch one day , Conchita remarked about how much time I spent ,and even asked me my prediction ! Alittle surprised I gave her the date, and she (with a great poker face) was emotion less, no sign as to whether I was right or wrong, but I got the feeling I just wasted years , for nothing. It was then I realized, do as she constantly said " just live the messages, the date is of no importance". I still believe firmly that a pope will go to Moscow and then a tribulation period will follow, then the Warning & Miracle. Hopefully a global repentance, and no Chastisement, but humanity always seems to disappoint me. Focus on your soul, the rest will take care of itself in God's time. God bless, Glenn.
