This thread reminds me so much how passing life is. When you are young you automatically think life is endless and I suppose this is very natural. But when you get older and see the people all around you dying we find the knowledge of our own mortality hitting us right in the face. Personally I do not fear death as it is as much a part of life as birth itself is. It is simply a doorway to another existence. I suspect even people with little or no Faith sense this to some extent or other. Our bodies , through the kindness and grace of God naturally point us in the direction of the Final Leaving. I must try and get masses said for all who were members of the forum come November. I had no idea there were so many. They are still members of the Forum only in another way in the Eternal Reality.

Does anyone know how Mac’s family is doing? Every once in a while, I watch the livestream of Mass from his church. It would be hard to miss all of those children, much older now, and the last little guy that Mac had prayed for. Rest in peace, Mac.
