Ugh, they say Australia will be next. I only recently got Instagram for Catholic content. I see how God is using it to unveil the Truth, other places on the internet seem to be more censored, like YouTube shorts. I know we can't believe everything we read or see on the internet, but I didn't see info of this anywhere else... Everyone in the UK who works will have to have a digital ID, by the end of the parliament. A man on Instagram said they created the chaos with allowing illegal immigrants in & now they think the solution is by enforcing a digital ID. Things are speeding up, for sure.
I agree, I am convinced it will take the Warning for my wayward family members to return to Jesus & His Church. It clearly won't be from anything I say! I pray for mercy for them & conversion nearly every day. I trust my actions have an impact, though many would never admit that. My annual travel to Medjugorje brings with it untold countless graces, both for me AND them. Again., anyone interested in joining me in group pilgrimages to Medjugorje, please PM me. We go at least every Nov.
I'll have to up my Rosaries. I find it impossible to keep my concentration...my mind wanders all over the place when I say the decades.
I am way too distracted at home. I can pray it on a walk or in Adoration or in a group after Mass/w friends.
I use rosary podcasts on my phone when praying alone. I find it helpful. I also walk around my garden to pray and that is helpful
Thanks for the tip. I find it easiest to say the Rosary while driving, because I can un-selfconsciously speak aloud, but still does my mind wander.
I have ADHD, OCD, etc. My mind wanders non-stop... When I pray, and I try to think about the mysteries slowly and with dignity, following the instructions of Our Lady of Fatima, then I can drag on for an hour and really get mentally tired from the struggle to concentrate. However, it is great to pray with someone. For example, in Latin you can easily learn the Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be, and the mysteries. Latin is a melodious and easy language. So I know pray with Padre Pio. Pope John Paul II was here on several occasions, he prayed the rosary in Croatian, and since he was Polish, i.e. Slavic like us Croats, it sounded natural. Catholic radio often plays the rosary and many pray that way...
I pray it with my husband at home. I pray it at Adoration Also our church just had beautiful stained glass windows put in . Each large window has a mystery of the rosary in full colour. This is For all 16 mysteries. I try to get a rosary like the joyful mysteries there once a week or so. It is so much easier to concentrate looking at each.
It always takes me about an hour to pray it. It helps me a lot to stay focused by praying out loud or whisper.
My family members are getting worse by the day, it's sad to see. I keep begging God for their conversion. My mum says I shouldn't concern myself with where she will go when she dies. I said, God may say to her she's there because of all my prayers. I don't think my mum truly believes mortal sin exists, it's so very sad. My dad is basically an atheist. They both go to Church, but both could care less for Church teaching. Church seems to be just for something to do. If I talk about God & Church teachings they don't want to hear it lol. I give it to God, I accept it. The truth of the matter is Judas didn't want God unfortunately & I can't do anything about anyone's free will, but to continue to pray for the conversion of sinners. Going to hell is such a scary thing. But it seems to be the last thing on ppl's minds. I'd love to go to Medjugorje but our Aussie passport is $412 alone. Price gouging, for sure!
