In the above we have a mention of grieving and then of hope. This hope actually lies in the supernatural conversion of Russia, the instrument that promulgated so much of the evil that has infiltrated the West in the last 80 years. According to the above, Russia will attack and wreck havoc on Europe, but when pushing into France will experience conversion through Our Lady's intervention and actually become an instrument in forcing the Muslims out of Europe.

The process might already be underway. Abortion has been rampant in Russia since Communism, being used as casually as contraception. I recently read, and I think in more than one source, that abortion is on the decline in Russia.

Russia might already be undergoing a process of conversion-apart from abortion, she has refused to succumb to the LGBTQ poison-but it is Europe that is most grievously afflicted with these sins and that is most in need of conversion.

The prophecies indicate a great defeat for Islam, but I don’t think this involves driving them out of Europe. I think what is prophesied is a mass conversion. There is data, recently discussed by David Warren in an article in The Catholic Thing that already as many as 20% (!) of European Muslims have converted. More encouragingly, it is the devout Muslims who are doing so as they are the ones who take religion seriously.

I’m reading a book by E. Michael Jones at the moment. In it he discusses and praises the philosophy of Hegel, a philosopher that I thought was typical of the Godless Enlightenment. Was I wrong. Hegel has been given a bad name, because of being falsely and egregiously misappropriated by Marx and other worldly historicists, giving Historicism a bad name.

Hegel certainly was a Historicist, but Jones makes it abundantly clear that, for Hegel, the Power behind History is Jesus Christ, Who he says has a Perfect Plan which despite the mess made by men via their Christ-gifted Free Will, will have Good as its end.

This philosophy seems perfectly in line with traditional Catholic teaching. Christ is In Charge.

[Additionally, I increasingly find Jones the most balanced, rounded and coolest (as in slowness to anger) commentator on matters Catholic of the present time. His credentials are impeccably orthodox, but he doesn’t get caught up in the NO/VO divide. Having said that, he is very blunt, with strong opinions and there are issues (non-doctrinal) in which some impeccable Catholics will not agree with him, while some will. Still, he is a reliable guide. I used to be wary, because of his unsparing attitude to the Jews. Recent events have utterly vindicated him. In reality, his critique is true, but moderate].

I think some people are conflating two prophecies.

One prophecy, from La Salette, says there will be two “worm-ridden” Popes per Fr. Gregory Hesse.

The other prophecy, from Marie-Julie Jahenney, is the one that mentioned there being “two successive antipopes” in Rome which will reign for a long series of months.

Worm-ridden popes can be valid, but are by definition, bad. Antipopes are invalid, but can be good or bad-for example, Hippolytus of Rome was an antipope, but is a saint.

It's fundamentally important to get the definition of a pope right, isn't it? For example, there are those who now declare Francis and Leo XIV as antipopes. This is incorrect, although they are unfortunately candidates for the title of the aforementioned worm-ridden popes.

I don't think Ann would lie. How did she manage a meeting, twice, with Cardinal Burke? When you know the people she knows, when you run in those circles, it would be very easy to know whether or not Francis refused the last sacraments. "Feared while living, hated in death" said Don Bosco speaking of Roman tyrants of the past.

Bishop Strickland has lost my respect after the scandal of John-Henry and Lifesite. I don't know why he has become highly respected when he hasn't done anything concrete. Viganò at least put his money where is mouth was and set up an institute to help traditional priests.

Actually it's true. They have been given a room for prayer with a carpet.

NOW claims he is a Cardinal which is false, this guy is a priest but his last name is Cardinal which apparently everyone assumes is his title.

"Vengono da voi anche studiosi di altre religioni? «Certo, alcuni studiosi musulmani ci hanno chiesto una stanza con un tappeto per pregare, gliel’abbiamo data: abbiamo Corani antichi incredibili. Siamo una biblioteca universale, ci sono collezioni arabe, ebraiche, etiopiche, pezzi cinesi unici."
Emphasis mine so you can Google translate.

I would never suggest that Anne Barnhart would lie, I am sure she is a good person and is telling what she believes to be the truth. Nevertheless sometimes people misunderstand or are mistaken or whatever. I would love to see her original source.

I am inclined however to suspect she was right over the target in what she says because of the strange things that went on when he was dying. Loads of strange things especially his really weird visit to the tomb of Pope St Pius x ,.

I was fascinated by her claim that St Joseph was the deposed hereditary king of Israel and that Jesus could not begin his ministry until after his death. Jesus then was the king and his kingship was both divine but also hereditary. She said some fascinating things. I believe her as we have heard nothing about PF exit. There must be information among the Swiss Guards, medics and even the cleaners.

It's all so sad. It hardly bears thinking about.

The Vatican must be mad house.

I must listen to her again.

Yes. She has sources deep in the Vatican who she must not compromise. She doesn’t say or claim anything on simple conjecture.

That makes a lot of sense. St Joseph was in the line of King David. To await Joseph’s death before commencing His ministry, Our Lord would have been simply respecting the Fourth Commandment.

I remember being given the explanation as a child in school that in Jewish society at this time, one entered adulthood at thirty. Given the shorter lifespan of the era, it wouldn’t have, if true, given people much time to go about their lives. Did nobody get married until they were thirty? We know that’s not true, because Our Lady got married very young. Surely getting married was entering adulthood? Ann’s explanation makes much more sense and is far more profound, being based on God’s Law, rather than on an arbitrary civic one.

I actually thought that a visit by Francis to the tomb of St Pius X, the great foe of modernism, might be a good sign that he might be repenting. In the words of Manuel, in Fawlty Towers, “I know nothing”.

I agree. I still take it as a good sign. I don’t think it can be interpreted any other way.
