Yes, I mostly agree with your timeline. But your dotted lines cover a lot shorter periods than you are suggesting.

Daniel Chapter 9 makes it very clear that the Counterfeit Church rises and falls over a 70 year period (70 weeks = 70 "Feasts of Weeks" or Pentecosts). This period began in 1959 when Vatican II was announced and the Third Secret was suppressed. The final 7 years of the 70 is the time when the main action occurs. We are currently smack in the middle of that final 7 year period.

The middle of that 7 year period is described as time when the Abomination of Desolation occurs. Around that time, the Warning will take place, then the appearance the Holy Pope. The Antichrist is the one who is responsible for the AoD and his reign lasts for only 1260 days.

The period of the Two Witnesses overlaps with the period of the Antichrist and the Witnesses period lasts 1260 days as well. So the entire final events fit into the last 3.5 years of the final 7 years of Daniel's 70 years. And Daniel's 70 years is simply a restatement of Jeremiah's 70 years.

Not a chance. It will begin only after the Consecration of Russia and the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart. Catholic prophecy varies on the length of the subsequent period, from one to many generations.

I have never said that the Scriptures state unambiguously that they apply to Bergoglio. Rather, the Scriptures describe events and people involved in those events. I am saying that Bergoglio and Prevost fit the people described of those events.

Why? The sequence of end times events starts with St. Paul describing a "man of sin" who "sits in the Temple of God" acting as if he is God. That is the description of an antipope who has usurped the Chair of Peter and who is condoning sin. Is that not a perfect description of Bergoglio? I think it is.

Maybe you disagree with my fitting of Bergoglio to that prophecy. But don't dismiss the substance of the claim that the "temple" is the Church, which is backed by the authority of Augustine and Aquinas.

If you want to apologize for Bergoglio, make that clear. But it is unfair to say that my interpretation of St. Paul's words are unacceptable when two of the greatest doctors of the Church stated the same thing.

Thanks for sharing your view. I’m going to step back from this discussion. If I gave you the impression im closed minded, then my apologies. But My perspective however remains that the Church does use allegory, but always afterthe literal sense and always within the boundaries of Tradition. CCC 675–677 isn’t an allegorical decoding of modern figures—it’s a doctrinal summary drawn from Scripture, not an example of applying private symbolism to current people.

Well, I had quoted Chapter 18 earlier. But, yes, Chapter 20:1-3 is also referring to the Holy Pope (with the Key and the Chain, the symbols on every Papal coat of arms).

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papal_coats_of_arms

The reason that the Holy Pope is so important in the end times is to re-establish with divine authority the Papacy, which the two Beasts (antipopes) have discredited. As St. Malachy says:

Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills [i.e. Rome] will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people.

Interesting that you criticize me for "prognosticating," but you present your own claim to know that we are NOT "on the cusp of the coming of the AC." It is "simply wrong" you claim.

I don't use any "dispensational" sources in the evidence that I bring up. You are arguing against a straw man.

And, as I said, the timeline that you posted mostly agrees with what I have been saying. We have been in the riots and wars stage for quite some time, as Our Lady of Akita described. The Pope that left Rome is BXVI. He left because of the FP/AC. Those events have already happened.

Then after the FP/AC perfect their deception with the "Abomination of Desolation," the Warning occurs and the Holy Pope returns. The period of peace is very short (likely weeks). The Antichrist rises back up. And the Two Witnesses (guided by the Holy Pope) fight the Antichrist liturgically and doctrinally, until the Second Coming.

So the only big difference in your overall timeline and mine is that you think there will be a very long period of peace. I have explained that the Scriptural Sources, interpreted by the Church Fathers, do not support a long earthly period of peace lasting years.

You continue to misunderstand how the Apocalypse recapitulates the main sequence of events over and over. If you are open to discussing the text, I would be happy to show you the evidence for what I am talking about.

I believe this refers to a sacrilegious and invalid liturgy that has yet to emerge. Padre Pio said that the world could more easily survive without the sun than without the Holy Mass. So, when the Eucharist is truly abolished, we will literally see hell being poured out upon the Earth.

As for the Antichrist’s false peace, it will be a triumph on the global geopolitical stage. He will not win over the Catholic world with the Latin liturgy, but rather by suffocating every Catholic rite that truly renews Christ’s sacrifice. People will say, “Who is like the Beast?” and “Who can wage war against it?” The person who came closest to this archetype was Alexander the Great, who even lamented that there were no more kingdoms left to conquer.

There is even an interesting parallel—if historically accurate—that he died at age thirty-three, the same age at which Our Lord died on the Cross, and that he died in Babylon, the city of sin, while Our Lord died and rose again in the holy city of Jerusalem. Obviously, Alexander was not the Antichrist, since he lived before Christ, but he serves as a figure of what will come at the end of times.

Yes, but the Consecration of Russia must be performed by a true, legitimate Pope. There is no true Pope coming from the court-packed crew of false "Cardinals" that Bergoglio/Prevost have appointed.

All of the appointments of bishops and Cardinals by an antipope are null and void. So a new "Pope" elected by the current batch of "Cardinals" will not solve the problem. Only the re-emergence of Pope Benedict solves the problem of the Consecration of Russia.

Yes, it refers precisely to a sacrilegious and invalid liturgy. It has yet to emerge on ALL altars within the Catholic Church. But it has already emerged on most of the tables in the Church. The subtle "peace plan" will change that.

The Antichrist is definitely a world figure on the geopolitical stage, as any putative Pope/antipope would be. But the prophecies are not concerned about geopolitics. They are concerned about the salvation of souls through the instrument of the Catholic Church and the Mass. Everything depends on the propitiation for sins effected by the authentic Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Daniel focuses the mission of the Antichrist on taking away the continual/daily Sacrifice. That is, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass said daily in the Roman Catholic Church.

And I agree that most Catholics will not wage war against the Beast and his liturgical peace plan. The majority would go along with it, except of the Warning and the Holy Pope ministry. Those two events will help to form the Two Witnesses, who will fight an apparent losing battle but will be assumed into Heaven upon the completion of their mission.

Finally, I agree on your "interesting parallel." Another interesting parallel is found in the Maccabees (in the secular history immediately after). The legitimate Seleucid king was Demetrius II who is taken away and imprisoned in Parthia. His place was taken by Antiochus VII Sidetes (Antiochus ~ Antichrist). Demetrius II was let out of prison over a decade later and reigned for 3-4 years. This parallels almost perfectly the BXVI/BERGOGLIO-PREVOST/BXVI saga. Stay tuned.

Even though the main sequence of events is repeated, Revelation is clear about certain aspects of it. You can't just willy nilly place things in the order you want. The beast kills the two witnesses and the WoB.

Revelation 11:7 Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them

Therefore if the beast is dead, so are the two witnesses. There is no getting around this fact.

Revelation 17:16 The beast and the ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute. They will bring her to ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire.

The beast is also what kills the WoB. If the beast is dead then so is the WoB. There is no getting around this fact either. In fact, the Beast and the false prophet both get thrown into the lake of fire at the same time. Yet according to your theory the false prophet, PLXIV is still alive, which isn't congruent with REV.

As well, in Rev 19 it is Jesus who throws the beast and the FP into the lake of fire at the same time. Yet we haven't seen this come to pass.

Your theory has way too many holes in it that you need to reconcile.

After Chapter 11, the Two Witnesses are described (not by name but by their activity, the war/battle, they participate in). The Two Witnesses are the faithful remnant army, not just two people. Here are all the locations where their battle is mentioned in the subsequent chapters:

12:17 And the dragon was angry against the woman: and went to make war with the rest of her seed [Two Witnesses], who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints [Two Witnesses], and to overcome them. And power was given him over every tribe, and people, and tongue, and nation.

14:12 Here is the patience of the saints [Two Witnesses], who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. 13 And I heard a voice from heaven, saying to me: Write: Blessed are the dead, who die in the Lord. From henceforth now, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; for their works follow them.

16:16 And he shall gather them [the Reprobate] together [to battle against the Two Witnesses] into a place, which in Hebrew is called Armagedon.

17:13 These [the Ten Horns] have one design: and their strength and power they shall deliver to the beast. 14 These [the Ten Horns] shall fight with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them, because he is Lord of lords, and King of kings, and they that are with him are called, and elect, and faithful [Two Witnesses].

19:17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds [Two Witnesses] that did fly through the midst of heaven: Come, gather yourselves together to the great supper of God: 18 That you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of tribunes, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all freemen and bondmen, and of little and of great. 19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies gathered together to make war with him that sat upon the horse, and with his army [Two Witnesses].

20:7 And when the thousand years shall be finished, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall go forth, and seduce the nations, which are over the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, and shall gather them together to battle, the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 8 And they came upon the breadth of the earth, and encompassed the camp of the saints [Two Witnesses], and the beloved city.

If you want me to go through the same exercise of the Harlot, I can do so. She is mentioned many times after Chapter 17.

My position isn’t my own. It comes mainly from the encyclopedic book “Trial, Tribulation and Triumph” by Desmond Birch, who taught eschatology at the seminary level and had a running program on eschatology on EWTN.

I was blessed to be part of a very small private Catholic prophecy discussion group on Facebook with him. His research was impeccable and unimpeachable. He is retired now from the group but it currently also includes these two stellar thinkers as well as several others you might recognize:

None of this is an answer to the holes I poked in your theory. If the beast is dead as you imply, then the two witnesses are dead. Regardless of their definition. So is the whore of Babylon. As well, both the beast and false prophet get thrown into the lake of fire at the same time. They don't get thrown in separately. As well, they both get thrown in by Jesus.

None of these facts are congruent with your theory. As well, there are problems with the verses you selected. IE Satan gets thrown into the lake of fire where the beast and false prophet already were. I can dissect this further for you if you like.

I will give you credit on a few things though. I am wondering if the reiteration is actually coming from different points of view. Or, are speaking about the unfoldment of similar themes occurring in different venues. So it could be what unfolds in reference to the Catholics from one perspective, the Jews another, the Muslims another and so on. Ultimately leading to the war of Gog and Magog. Which appears to be something that has the potential to unfold any day now.

Not to mention the fact that many are having Jesus is coming soon dreams, including our own dear Katfalls.

Birch's long era of peace comes from his interpretation of the "thousand years" in the Apocalypse. Although Birch does not assign exactly 1000 years to the Era of Peace, he believes the peace will be a very long period. This is speculation on his part and based on a misinterpretation of the Apocalypse.

I will explain why his speculation is logically erroneous. First, we need to look the key passage in Apocalypse 20:

1 And I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit, and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he laid hold on the dragon the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3 And he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should no more seduce the nations, till the thousand years be finished. And after that, he must be loosed a little time. 4 And I saw seats; and they sat upon them; and judgment was given unto them; and the souls of them that were beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and who had not adored the beast nor his image, nor received his character on their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 The rest of the dead lived not, till the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection. In these the second death hath no power; but they shall be priests of God and of Christ; and shall reign with him a thousand years. 7 And when the thousand years shall be finished, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall go forth, and seduce the nations, which are over the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, and shall gather them together to battle, the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 8 And they came upon the breadth of the earth, and encompassed the camp of the saints, and the beloved city. 9 And there came down fire from God out of heaven, and devoured them; and the devil, who seduced them, was cast into the pool of fire and brimstone, where both the beast 10 And the false prophet shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

The "angel" described in that passage is the Holy Pope. We know this because he is described as having a "key" and a "chain." The key for "loosing" and the "chain" for binding. Those are the tools of the successors of Peter. He "binds" Satan with his "chain" for a symbolic "thousand years." This "thousand years" is then linked to those "who had not adored the beast nor his image, nor received his character...." Those people just described, named the 144,000 elsewhere in the Apocalypse," reigned with Christ for a "thousand years."

Here's the logical problem for Birch. The Beast, who the Church Fathers define as the Antichrist, is a specific individual. And this man is the one whose "image" is adored and who "mark" is received. This means that the "Beast" must have been living PRIOR TO the "thousand years," since the 144,000, are rewarded specifically because they did not adore the "image" of that Beast or receive the "mark" of the Beast.

Then the Holy Pope uses his "key" to release Satan allowing him and his ministers, the Beast and the False Prophet, to battle "the saints," aka the Two Witnesses. After that battle, the Beast and the False Prophet are "cast into the pool of fire." So, the same Beast, the Antichrist, is living BEFORE the "thousand years" and AFTER the "thousand years," because the Beast is still around to be cast into Hell after the final battle of Gog and Magog, which occurs AFTER the "thousand years" has ended.

Do you understand? The Era of Peace is, according to Birch, contemporaneous with the "thousand years." Whatever the amount of time the symbolic "thousand years" amounts to (50 years, 100 years, etc.), likewise the Era of Peace must amount to the same amount of time, because the "peace" is a result of "the binding of Satan." The peace ends with the loosing of Satan and that is when the battle with Gog and Magog starts.

But the start of the "binding of Satan" occurs AFTER the "mark of the Beast" has already been introduced. And the end of the "binding of Satan" occurs during the lifetime of the same Beast. We must assume that this Beast is an adult with the power to cause people to take his "mark" before the "thousand years." We also know that the reign of this Beast is 42 months (Apoc. 13:5). So, the "thousand years" must happen within that period of that 42 months.

Therefore, the Era of Peace is a very short period of time in earth time.

Revelation 1:18 I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

The angel in 20:1 is clearly Jesus.

Revelation 20:10 And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

You're misinterpreting scripture. The beast and the false prophet are already in the lake of fire when Satan gets thrown into it. Which the beast and the false prophet were thrown in before the 1000 years.

Actually Birch says many Catholic prophecies say the Era of Peace will last only one generation, while some say it may be multiple generations, so it’s an open question.

He is NOT a millenarian by any stretch of the imagination.

The three main Septenaries (Seals, Trumpets, Vials) are describing the same 7 basic stages/events as they apply to three different groups. So you are seeing those 7 events from different perspectives, as you say.

The Seals focus on the 144,000 primarily. The Trumpets focus on the Two Witnesses/Remnant Army primarily. The Vials focus on the Reprobate/Harlot primarily.

The Apocalypse really has little to do with Jews or Muslims or non-Catholics per se. The first Septenary lays out the counsels for the 7 Churches. Those are different types of Catholics. But non-Catholics are not excluded from repenting and becoming Catholic at any time.

The entire Apocalypse is thematically patterned around the comparison/contrast of the Immaculate Bride and the Harlot. The future Bridegroom, Jesus, left at the Ascension with a promise to prepare His Father's House for the betrothed and come back at the Second Coming to take her back with Him. But before He comes back publicly, He comes back secretly, "like a thief in the night." That is the Warning, the interior Illumination of Conscience, aka the Day of the Lord. At the Warning, a small number have remained faithful, these get a special early reward. But, at the Warning, most of the betrothed are found to have been unfaithful to the Bridegroom, those people are known as "the Harlot." When the Warning happens some of those unfaithful people repent, some do not. Those who repent become the Remnant Army. Those who do not repent at the Warning become the Reprobate. The Remnant Army and the Reprobate battle for 42 months. Then Jesus returns in glory, publicly at the Second Coming. He takes his faithful into the New Heave and New Earth. And the casts the Reprobate into Hell of all eternity.
