They thought that the Iranians are a backward people, but are now finding out how wrong they were. The Epsteinists now have to accept (but they sure are slow) that their opponents will cause Gotterdammarung rather than agree to a ceasefire, because it's existential for them-they know from experience that a ceasefire will only delay their destruction. So, they're going all out for it now.

In that sense, I think 'revenge' as a motive is simplistic. It's about survival. A deadly game of 'chicken' and they didn't start it.

I remember I used to go crazy and do rants about all the terrible things in the Church. But eventually I found peace about it all. Grace sometimes takes time to work.

Perhaps it is the same with these terrible wars. We need time to find inner peace about the state we find ourselves in.

There's enough support for the war as long as US participation is confined to bombing from afar. They don't want US boots on the ground but aren't too bothered about mass deaths provided the dead aren't Americans. The people pulling the strings don't care whether the Republicans or Democrats win elections. Netanyahu got multiple standing ovations from all sides.

I'm far more worried about the Church. Clearly, it has been infiltrated especially in the US. Has it occurred to anyone here that the string pullers don't confine themselves to political parties? We saw their influence on the so-called "left". Now we're seeing their influence on the so-called "right". The rumours about Opus Dei are worrying even if only a portion are true. Thank God, Pope Leo seems to be dealing with it. Catholics whitewashing Zionism should be a huge red flag but some of what I've heard from professional Catholics and some Catholic priests in the US with an online presence is a matter of concern. No Zionist should hold a teaching position in a Catholic seminary.

If any good is to come from these years of death and destruction, let it be a cleansing and renewal of the Church's mission.

 

Apparently, Iran hit the Israeli nuclear facility at Dimona today. The speaker of the Iranian parliament noted that if Dimona could be hit without a single attempt at interception, a new phase of missile assault could begin, as the defenses can be assumed to be wiped out. Multiple other missile strikes also reported, with little or no defense. There is also an unconfirmed report that a bunker full of Israeli nuclear scientists was one of the targets hit in Dimona. Dimona is going to quickly become a ghost town.

Regarding the Dimona site, I recall someone saying that although the nuclear weapons are deep underground, there could be spent nuclear fuel nearer the surface. I don't recall whether he said spent fuel but he was talking about some kind of used radioactive nuclear material.

I asked myself why is Trump asking Congress for $200 billion for the war? Could it be that the money we got from the Venezuelan oil disappeared? Didn’t Trump store it in Qatar?
