Thanks, Padraig, for striving to steer this forum back to the real purpose for which you created it, in obedience to our Blessed Mother’s request. As forum members, may we break free from the trap of this iterative loop (as you remind us, with a dose of humor ). We’re all aware that underlying all discord, conflicts and wars, is a great spiritual battle that can only be won by prayer, penance and sacrifice.

We also appreciate many members’ gentle and patient efforts, aiming to redirect this forum toward the right course intended by Our Lady. A few examples:

· sharing personal struggles and how to overcome them

· praying for and uplifting one another

· posting messages of faith, hope, inspiration, and encouragement, demonstrated in the heroic virtues of saints and ordinary people living in these extraordinary times

A faithful remnant (online) community exercises prudence and sets a good example of Christian charity to others (bearing in mind forum guests whose souls seek God). Mother Mary’s children console her sorrowful Immaculate Heart by heeding her repeated admonitions:

March 25, 2026: “Dear children, the poison of selfishness and hatred rules human hearts and that is why you do not have peace. I am calling you, little children: be love and my extended hands to all those whom you meet. In humility, pray for peace and work on reconciliation among people, so that it may be good for every person on earth. Thank you for having responded to my call.”

March 18, 2026: “Dear children, never forget how great is the love of God. Through that love I am with you. Do not forget how great is His mercy. Through that mercy I am showing you the way to true happiness and perfect peace. That is the way to my Son. Therefore, my children, with complete trust, abandon yourselves to my Son and do not be afraid. Do not be afraid of the future because it belongs entirely to the will of my Son. Therefore, my children, renounce everything that distances you from my Son: false happiness, false hope, false splendor. Trust my Son. Tell Him about your pains, sufferings, desires and hopes. December 25, 1987: “I am calling you to sincere prayer with the heart so that every prayer of yours may be an encounter with God. In your work and in your everyday life, put God in the first place.”

Today I listened to Alvaro of Uniquely Mary. He has a podcast on how Holy Souls are very powerful intercessors. We should invoke souls that worked in a situations that we are looking for help by getting Masses said for them.He was asking people to pledge Masses for soldiers who had been involved in war asking them to intercede for peace in our current world situation. I pledged 10 Masses and I have already arranged with a priest to have them said.

Acedia has been linked to political overload/confusion aka " doom scrolling". So it is something to be aware of in modern life. It's a kind of despondency which arises from constantly watching things only ever get worse in our media feeds. Many believe this is purposefully being done to the public at large. Psychological warfare, linked to spiritual warfare too.

Acedia/despondency also leads to other addictions/vices.

Cui Bono? The same entity as usual. Loads of resources online on how to battle it.

 

That's no problem maryrose, though I haven't received anything yet.

 

I think for many of them at least ten hours in prayer before ten minutes on utube would be a good thing.

 

Take a photo of your work with the camera in your cell phone. Then email it to yourself. When it asks you if you want to send a small, medium, or large file, use the small file. When it comes in your email, download it and it will be a small file. You can also copy it and paste it. Or store it in a folder of images on your camera phone as the smaller size.
