    We are also living in a time of apostacy - this is an interesing passage and a warning against apostacy -

    Ezekiel6
    The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, set your face against the mountains of Israel; prophesy against them and say: ‘You mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Sovereign Lord. This is what the Sovereign Lord says to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys: I am about to bring a sword against you, and I will destroy your high places. Your altars will be demolished and your incense altars will be smashed; and I will slay your people in front of your idols. I will lay the dead bodies of the Israelites in front of their idols, and I will scatter your bones around your altars. Wherever you live, the towns will be laid waste and the high places demolished, so that your altars will be laid waste and devastated, your idols smashed and ruined, your incense altars broken down, and what you have made wiped out. Your people will fall slain among you, and you will know that I am the Lord.

    “‘But I will spare some, for some of you will escape the sword when you are scattered among the lands and nations. Then in the nations where they have been carried captive, those who escape will remember me—how I have been grieved by their adulterous hearts, which have turned away from me, and by their eyes, which have lusted after their idols. They will loathe themselves for the evil they have done and for all their detestable practices. And they will know that I am the Lord; I did not threaten in vain to bring this calamity on them.

    “‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Strike your hands together and stamp your feet and cry out “Alas!” because of all the wicked and detestable practices of the people of Israel, for they will fall by the sword, famine and plague. One who is far away will die of the plague, and one who is near will fall by the sword, and anyone who survives and is spared will die of famine. So will I pour out my wrath on them. And they will know that I am the Lord, when their people lie slain among their idols around their altars, on every high hill and on all the mountaintops, under every spreading tree and every leafy oak—places where they offered fragrant incense to all their idols. And I will stretch out my hand against them and make the land a desolate waste from the desert to Diblah—wherever they live. Then they will know that I am the Lord.’”

    I used to think this could be the case...but I'm not sure how to reconcile this idea of it just feeling like the end times and then there being a whole new era, with the fact that Jesus told St. Faustina she and the "spark from Poland" were to prepare the world for His FINAL coming. How can His final coming be approaching with a sense of urgency, if there's a whole other thing going on that is just about a new era beginning, still on earth?

    I had been talked into believing that this approaching time was a "second coming" of Christ (not in the flesh, but in the spirit) that wasn't the same as His "final coming"... but not only did the early Christians seem to think there was only one more return of Christ, but Jesus and Mary use the terms "final coming" and "second coming" interchangeably to St. Faustina.

    Mary says:

    "You have to speak to the world about His great mercy and prepare the world for the Second Coming of Him who will come, not as a merciful Savior, but as a just Judge." (Diary 635)

    And Jesus also calls it His final coming:

    "You will prepare the world for My final coming." (Diary 429)

    Jesus says that we are in the end times, with the next thing being the Day of Justice:

    "Speak to the world about My mercy ... It is a sign for the end times. After it will come the Day of Justice. While there is still time, let them have recourse to the fountain of My mercy." (Diary 848)

    I'd love to hear your thoughts on this!

    To prepare for my final coming.

    His final coming could be two thousand years away.

    For the Lord that is like 2 days.

    So we are very near the end in God's time but not human time.

    Just my thinking based on 30 years of interest in eschatology.

    I don't think you have to reconcile the two options. Everything is likely going to happen in a way we cannot imagine. But being aware of the two is good.

    I lean more towards the end of the end. Based off a line from Our Lady of the Good Event which parallels the beginning of Rev 20. That and other prophecy like Fatima and Garabandal.

    The end of the end revolves around Genesis 3:15 IMO and who knows what's going on there. The cabal seems to have gained control over the last 100 years aligning with PLXIII's smoke of Satan premonition. A little time.

    IIRC St. Faustina's diary talks about the dirty deals made in secret places. Every important Marian apparition seems to have cabal influencers trying to shut them down. So it seems like a seed war.

    A new earth, a new era. These seem to be possibly what happens when serpent seed is removed from the equation. The ten Commandments, Jesus' ministry, while directed to everyone, appear to be primarily directed at the cabal.

    We are not there yet, but very close I believe. What I find interesting is a quote from her book Mirjana Soldo (Visionary of Medjugorje)

    My Heart will Triumph

    “I wish I could divulge more about what will happen in the future, but I can say one thing about how the priesthood relates to the secrets. We have this time that we are living in now, and we have the time of the Triumph of Our Lady’s Heart. Between these two times we have a bridge, and that bridge is our priests. Our Lady continually asks us to pray for our shepherds, as she calls them, because the bridge needs to be strong enough for all of us to cross it to the time of the triumph. In her message of October 2, 2010, she said,
    “Only alongside your shepherds will my heart triumph.”

    My Heart will Triumph

    Mirjana Soldo

    Personally, I think...Right now, this very day 4/27/2026 we are in a time of grace. Today is the time Mirjana says of the times we are living in now.
    Repent, get in the state of grace. No one knows what comes tomorrow and the end of our earthly sojourn can come for any of us this very day or tomorrow.

    Oh Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us, who have recourse to thee.

    And sooooo many of the young holy priests rising up today heard the call to their vocation in Medjugorje!

    Does anyone here know of any approved apparitions BEFORE the 1900s where Jesus or Mary spoke of Jesus' return being very close? (Besides in the Bible, of course. Although I think I've come to understand some of those passages in a different light.)

    The apparitions in Kibeho touched upon the Second Coming being soon, as well. But again, those were in the 1900s.

    Even Our Lady of Good Success, while appearing a few centuries ago, talked about THESE times we're in now, as did LaSalette. There seems to be something very unique to the 20th and early 21st centuries that point to them really being the END times.

    Because also....where are the apparitions talking about any time beyond the early 21st century?

    St. Faustina's prophetic timetable appears compatible with your thinking, but the prophecies of a coming Holy Pontiff appear to conflict. Sigh! Back to focusing on setting a good example and living my consecration to the Two Hearts!:unsure::):coffee:

    Which approved apparitions spoke of a Holy Pontiff? I assume you're speaking of the Holy Pontiff that will rise at the same time as the Great Monarch? I've heard of these prophecies but have not come across them in my reading of approved apparitions.

    I know that Our Lady of Good Success spoke of a time when all would seem on the verge of being lost, and a beloved pope would come to restore the Church. I believe that will happen right before the time of the Antichrist, during the unfolding of the 10 secrets of Medjugorje, if you believe in Medjugorje.

    I thought initially that maybe that beloved pope was Pope John Paul II, but it can't be....because the restoration of the Church, according to Our Lady of Good Success, won't take place until the convent in Quito is back under the care of the Franciscans. And that hasn't happened yet, as far as I know.

    I have a feeling that when the ball gets rolling, things will happen very quickly--things we've been waiting for for a very long time. Right now I have my eye on the explosion of conversions to Catholicism that is happening in many countries in the West. It's looking like a snowball effect, and as that snowball grows and strengthens, there will be reverberations throughout the Church and around the world. And when our holy young priests become bishops, all of Hell and the world will once again see the Church as the enemy. There will be a seismic shift and I believe that is when everything will really take off: persecution, convulsions of the earth and weather, mass conversions, antichrist.

    But those are only my thoughts.

    Then I'm sitting here thinking, "What about the robots and AI? Where do they fit in?" Lol. It's too much.

    I'm excited about the direction the Church is headed though. We're headed for a major correction. I had hopes it would be Pope Leo, but it doesn't look like it's him (unless something changes him, which is quite possible. I still believe he has a good heart.)

    This is timely. It is not a future thing, imho. It is about NOW. It's so recent and the wording is quite plain, imho. We are in the times of Matthew 24 that Jesus spoke of.

    Yes, St. JPII, who knew the secrets of Fatima and was saved by Our Lady--and also had a deeply prayerful, mystical interior life--was very urgent about this time at the turn of the new millennium. He did not act like we had a lot of time, or that we were just transitioning into a beautiful new era. He acted as if we all needed to rush into God's mercy NOW.

    "unless those days were shortened" from Matt. 24, 22 “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened."
    I am amazed at how quickly time is passing. The days seem to fly by.

    Well PF, at this point I hold lightly onto the various apparitions, but can say Garabandal, Medjugorje, and Our Lady of Good Success have had the most impact on my personal and family life. When my children were teenagers and younger, I was very concerned for their immediate future, but the timetable has changed. Apart from my priestly sons, supporting the others in their family life has preoccupied much of Geralyn's and my recent attention. As long as they remain rooted in the Two Hearts, tough times may come, but we all can be at peace with Christ on His Throne and the Queen Mother at His side.

    O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!:love:

    I feel joy at the thought of Jesus returning, even though I know there will be great suffering beforehand. I also would love to die today...if only I wouldn't be leaving my children behind!

    What worries me more is if the world were to continue on a path of rejecting God further and further...the darkness of what those days would be in my children's future seem terrible. But, as God just showed me the other day, He is always the One in control! He is always with us.

    The questions we ask concerning our current times are understandable, but we simply are called to trust in the Lord. I just stopped my posting to pray Evening Prayer, and was pleased to find the following to be the opening Psalm:

    Psalm 136

    O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good,
    for his steadfast love endures for ever.
    2 O give thanks to the God of gods,
    for his steadfast love endures for ever.
    3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords,
    for his steadfast love endures for ever;

    4 to him who alone does great wonders,
    for his steadfast love endures for ever;
    5 to him who by understanding made the heavens,
    for his steadfast love endures for ever;
    6 to him who spread out the earth upon the waters,
    for his steadfast love endures for ever;
    7 to him who made the great lights,
    for his steadfast love endures for ever;
    8 the sun to rule over the day,
    for his steadfast love endures for ever;
    9 the moon and stars to rule over the night,
    for his steadfast love endures for ever;

    10 to him who smote the first-born of Egypt,
    for his steadfast love endures for ever;
    11 and brought Israel out from among them,
    for his steadfast love endures for ever;
    12 with a strong hand and an outstretched arm,
    for his steadfast love endures for ever;
    13 to him who divided the Red Sea in sunder,
    for his steadfast love endures for ever;
    14 and made Israel pass through the midst of it,
    for his steadfast love endures for ever;
    15 but overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red Sea,
    for his steadfast love endures for ever;
    16 to him who led his people through the wilderness,
    for his steadfast love endures for ever;

    ...23 It is he who remembered us in our low estate,
    for his steadfast love endures for ever;
    24 and rescued us from our foes,
    for his steadfast love endures for ever;
    25 he who gives food to all flesh,
    for his steadfast love endures for ever.
    26 O give thanks to the God of heaven,
    for his steadfast love endures for ever.

    Personally, I think many people fall into the trap of think that their generation is special. There’s been a group of people in literally every generation since Christ’s Resurrection thinking they’d be the ones to see Him return. Well… none of them have been right yet, and I’m inclined to think this generation won’t be right either.

    Based on Fatima, Garabandal and other apparitions of Our Blessed Mother, I do think this generation will see a Miracle, a restoration of the Church, a period of peace, and a large wave of conversions (all these things together consisting of the Triumph of Her Immaculate Heart). If I had to guess, this period of peace will last several hundred years. At some point after that, Jesus will return and judge the living and the dead.
