I was pretty fine with the move to Spain until the night before I moved then it all caught up with me. I had been so busy I had no time to be scared. Then that night one of my brothers sent me a message saying I had nerves of steel for doing what I was doing and then the jitters set in! God asks us to step out in Faith like old Father Abraham. Thank God for being busy it does a lot to help!
Well we have the house sold. A very reasonable price, no inspection contingency, and a bizarrely long rent back which will make things much easier for an interstate move with such a big family. We got the buyers the day my Holy Cloak Novena ended and the offer the day after I completed St Louis de Montfort's consecration to Our Lady, with only a couple showings and no need to go on the full market. So thank you to all of you, and: St Philomena St Anthony Our Lady of Loreto Our Lady Undoer of Knots St Joseph And the Holy Souls in purgatory for all their prayers and intercession. Now we just need to find a house and get a mortgage pre approval sufficient to put an offer on it. But God has brought us this far and I know He will not abandon us on the way. I ask your continued prayers that the process is smooth and obvious for my husband so he doesn’t succumb to the anxiety and worry this transition is causing him. edit: and I got my desire to say the rosary back, which left me a few years ago after brain fog issues. Still have the brain fog tho Also received the blessing of no longer finding conflict between my spiritual activities and leisure activities, something I have longed prayed for.

Got the mortgage pre approval! Now we just need the house, as all the ones on the market are a wee bit too expensive for our needs. Continued thanks to Our Lady, St Joseph, St Anthony and all of you for your prayers.
When we were looking to buy our present home almost 30 years ago, the high price tag was a put off. The owners adamantly stuck to the extra 20 thousand above the market price and I was in despair. Then, my mother said something that made all the difference: she said, You're paying for better neighbours. At that time, some of the houses around us were rentals with a regular turnaround of renters who didn't see the need to invest in relationships in the community. Even the few actual owners nearby mainly kept to themselves. But something in my mother's words pinged me and we went ahead and bought the house. Almost 30 years hence, my mother was right. We have mostly quiet yet cheery neighours. Homes are well-tended. There is respect for one another. No busybodies. A lot of love for visiting granchildren. No surprise that my section is one of the more joyful and peaceful places.
A lovely journey of Faith. Jesus seems to be encouraging you in a pilgrimage of Faith and Trust. Prayers at Mass and the rosary this morning but you are doing so well you don't seem to need them so much.
Oh, I’m good. It’s my poor husband who’s pulling his hair out. He needs all the prayers he can get that he endures, as he is constitutionally anxious and does not do well with uncertainty. He has post concussion syndrome, which is not helping the matter. So I’ve been praying for him that things are obvious to him and easy for him and made clear when the time is right.
He’s very risk averse, so he wants to put an offer on it the first house that suffices for our needs. I want a house that suffices for our needs AND is a five minute walk to perpetual adoration. Now we have the mortgage, I have probably five or six days before he insists on something appropriate but a bit further away. Which I’m not gonna argue about because he has a point, but I would like to find one if God is willing to provide a house so obvious my husband can’t refuse
Will be praying at Adoration tomorrow. Prayers now too and rosary tonight. Your idea of finding a home close to Perpetual Adoration is an awesome idea and one that I'm sure Our Lord will love to have you find, if it is His will
O Lord, you were blessed by the loving care of St. Joseph. I join my prayers with his that You, the Provider of all good things, may direct them to the house that fits both the needs and the price range of Aluisa and her husband. O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!
