Dennis had no intention of giving another interview — until St. Maria Goretti revealed something so urgent that even this 80-year-old man who had begged for privacy felt compelled to speak. In this raw and sacred encounter filmed in Ireland, Dennis shares what St. Maria Goretti allowed him to hear: a wailing rising from the depths of Purgatory — the cry of forgotten souls, ancestors going back generations, longing desperately for a single prayer. Dennis also reveals the extraordinary grace St. Maria Goretti gives to every person who hears her story — a tiny white lily embedded in the heart of each listener, calling us to silently entrust every priest we encounter into her care. If you have ancestors whose names have been lost to time, this video is a divine nudge — because the Mass, the Rosary, and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy are the lifelines they are counting on.

I have always had a deep remorse for the souls in the 'deepest pit' of purgatory.
So many souls who have not had the immense benefit of the True Faith but are there through the Love God has for ALL, come from a social setting where no person will pray for their release.
Many are priests, those who gave us the Eucharist, who absolved us from sin, but lapsed into a routine of 'the daily grind' are there also! Their rsponsibility lands them in the 'deepest pit!' WOE!!!!
Who would not try desparately to save a drowning child?! Yet those souls are 'out of mind.' These are the wailing souls referred to in this interview.
The other thing that struck me was [at 38min]:
"And I wish that people will be told much about the sacredness of that place where the altar is, the sacredness of that ground. And yet it's abused so much. And the people running up there and not even acknowledging the tabernacle".
Here where I am in Australia there are so many well-intentioned people who prepare for daily mass as if it was a community get-together!
If there are more than one, they chat as if preparing for a meeting.
The priest arrives with the same attitude, happy to have mass set up for him, genuflection relegated to old-fashioned 'Tradition".
He discusses the procedure of the event with little apparent thought for the immensity of the event!.
There seems to be no recognition that God, our Creator and infinite Lover, the ONE who gave His Earthly life so we might enter Heaven, He who resides in the Tabernacle!
All these people are SO GOOD but fall sort, in spirit, of the magnitude of that 'space', the REALITY of the REAL PRESENCE!
As the intrview says, once the altar rails were a boundary where we 'mere mortals' dare not tread. Now it is a space little different to our kitchen!
The DUE REVERENCE is lost due to our 'modern' approach to our Mass, our Tabernacle our SACRED SPACE.
We must reclaim [acknowledge] that SACRED SPACE!
We need desperately to recognise our relatives (AND priests, AND unfortunate non-Catholic GOOD PEOPLE) languishing in Purgatory.
Most contributours here are SO LUCKY to have religious freeedom and 'wallow' in our [provident] 'wealth' and freedom.
Pray for souls in deepest purgatoy , oft thru, circumstances!
Let us return to REVERENCE for thr REAL PRESENCE in the tabernacle, in the Sanctuary, the basis for our Faith.

Maybe I am fortunate but the large majority of priests I have met have been good and holy men, some of them even saintly. Sadly perhaps many of them , although good and holy have been misinstructd in the fullness of the Faith. This is where good holy Bishop are needed. But the young priests are coming back to the fullness of the Faith. A Sign of Great hope.

I met Denis many years ago. In fact the first spiritual director that Denis had was a friend. He said a family tree healing Mass in my house every year for approximately 15 years. It was a special time. That priest has since passed. It's difficult to get a priest to say Mass in my house these days. Denis is a lovely gentleman. His testimony is great.

Yes, having a holy priest offering a Holy Mass for our family tree at home back in 1999 proved to be a p0werful experience. Geralyn used to have a fear of driving along water which we believed tied in with an uncle who went out swimming in Lake Ontario and never returned. I had a difficult relationship with my maternal Grandma while growing up. Geralyn was freed of her fear of water and I had an unexpected vision of Grandma smiling at me when all was said and done and the Holy Mass was completed. We had prepared by posting a map of our family tree with notations written by each applicable predecessor. Most other family members were thankful to be there, too.

Eternal rest grant unto Fr. Regis, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen!

I read recently that the Irish because of the Penal Days and the Famine when they said the rosary with such devotion have often been granted special mystical gifts that permit them to see beyond the veil. A Gift if you like. But true or not what is true that quite a few Irish people do have these gifts.

That's true. I have had the blessing of knowing many. Our Lady was very active in the South of Ireland in the 80s particularly in Cork where Denis is from.

Or it might just be something to do with the Celtic DNA we hear simliar reports from places like Scotland and Wales and here in Celtic Spain, Galicia. Sometimes I think they call it the Sight, or they have different names for it, the ability to see beyond the veil. Like the legend of the seventh son of the seventh son.

The bad side of it is the pagan, New Age or outright witchcraft stuff. It can work both ways.
