djmoforegon, Thanks for the above clips on Our Lady of Akita. I've drawn closer to her in the last few years. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, TRULY present in the Holy Eucharist, I consecrate my body and soul to be entirely one with Your Heart, being sacrificed at every instant on the altars of the world and giving praise to the Father, pleading for the coming of His Kingdom. Please receive this humble offering of myself. Use me as You will for the glory of the Father and the salvation of souls. Most Holy Mother of God, never let me be separated from Your Divine Son. Please defend and protect me as your special child. Amen!
I have prayed this every day for years. It is a beautiful prayer written for Sister Agnes's order by Bishop Ito.
You’re right, my mistake AED. This beautiful prayer was given to the sisters by Bishop Ito, a great friend of the community.
Today Fr. Pillari reads the entire third and last message given to Sr. Agnes. He stresses how grave the chastisement will be if we do not turn away from our present course. Our Lady’s message was given on October 13th, the anniversary of the miracle at Fátima. The teaching starts @ the 31 minute mark. Father is still speaking in the garden but very close to the miraculous statue inside the convent. Pilgrims are allowed to pray in the same chapel that Sr. Agnes did, just no pictures or videos allowed. I’m really hoping there will be a new fervor for this gift.
Thanks djm, it's always good to see the messages and events of Akita being promoted. It's seems like there's been a concerted effort over the years to keep them as little known as possible. The times spoken of by the Blessed Mother at Akita may well be approaching. Our Lady of Akita, pray for us.
Its curious isn't it. The message of Fatima was in many ways repressed. And Akita which is Fatima revisited is also obscured.
Sometimes I get discouraged at seeing all the fierce non believers who are continuously blaspheming God. But then i think of all the young people quietly converting to the Church. Prayer is working. We gotta keep those Rosaries going.
That's true...the messages and events of Garabandal have also been neglected. I feel that the events spoken of there may also be coming about in the near future. Fatima - Garabandal - Akita, the messages and exhortations of Our Lady are connected. Blessed Mother, cover us with the mantle of your maternal love and care. "I alone am able still to save you from the calamities which approach. Those who place their confidence in me will be saved." Our Lady to Sr. Agnes Sasagawa in the third message given in Akita on October 13th, 1973.
It's interesting that Blessed Alexandrina da Costa of Balasar, Portugal, sometimes called the Fourth Seer of Fatima, died on October 13th 1955. Another connection to Fatima.
Yes, definitely. Not to make light of Our Mother's kindness and gentility, I'm hearing a bit more of "wait until your Father gets home" now.
